Sorry for wall of text, I just love talking Bookworm. The official Reddit literally had Myneday discussion, back when the books were getting translated weekly. -- The comment about the weapon makes me yern for the book "Easy Blacksmith Life in Another World" to get an anime. It was so much fun reading when the MC would create and sell his weapons. I believe this is the first timeLutz witness's Rozemyne cast a spell, hence his reaction to his childhood friend using magic. Note that we see in this episode that not all nobles are strict and adherant to noble ettiquate. The farther away a noble's domain is, the more closely they interact with the commoners. We see Briggette is very close with the commoners of her domain, treating them like fmaily. Regasrding Rozemyne's mana compression technique, the anime skiped the most important part that makes this all make sense. It's about the visualization. If one can visualize making packing their mana smaller, it becomes smaller and makes more room for more mana to generate. Once the mana container is filled, they release the compression, which causes the container to grow. If one over compresses, it comes with mana sickness. Since many nobles don't do heavy house work, many simply have never experienced the ideas of trying to forcefully pack things away. Rozemyne's unique commoner perspective is a boon to her method. If you remember fromt he first 3 seasons, there was the visualization o the box with mana leaking out. Myne was picturing forcing all her out of control mana into that box. Her forcefully packing that mana away to keep her from growing ill caused the mana container to grow exponetially. Briggette is looking for a husband to join her family, hence why she asks him about her town. Shec an only accept a husband who's willing to move with her. -- And now we finally see one of Rozemyne's other inventions. The well pump. Yes, it makes her a ton of money for making books. Regarding the item gathering, the anime glossed over it, but they are gathering the items to cure Rozemyne's mana lump. Because her lump is so hard and her mana is so vast, she needs the best of the best. Hence why these expeditions are so grandiose. The armor is made of their mana, so it protects them from the heat, the cold and feels like nothing at all. Amazing reaction again!

The material gatherings aren't for various seasonal activities, they're all for one purpose alone; curing Rosemyne with a powerful medicinal potion. Effectively making her a true noble without the weak constitution and stunted growth. It's what they were talking about when they did her medical evaluation and found solid mana clumps in her body. This will dissolve them.
