From what I understand, Tet was basically born from Riku’s belief and imagination of a God of Games. Riku wasn’t trying to destroy the planet either. His plan was to use the strongest attacks from the different races and redirect all that power to blast a hole through the planet and reveal the Suniaster. Riku couldn’t take it himself because he was human, so Tet claimed it and became the One True God. The other gods didn’t all die, Tet just gained control of the world because he got the Suniaster. And Sora and Shiro are heavily implied to be Riku and Schwi reincarnated, or at least connected to them somehow. Tet also saw his game with Riku as unfinished, so bringing Sora and Shiro to Disboard is basically his chance to continue it.

by the way you can see the "Suniaster" in the normal season of no game no life. Everythink was writen in the Mangaka mind. You see it at the very start, first episode Tet use it with the power it grants to summon Sora and Shiro, you see the Suniaster come out of the screen with his hands. And secound time is in the last episode when Tet talk about how summoning them was the right choice he sit beside the Suniaster. Suniaster translate and represent the "Concept of god" or what makes a god if you prefer.

So yeah Sora and Shiro are Incarnation of Riku and Schwi from another dimension. The only that Tet could go after to finish that unfinished game. Or more like Tet curiosity "could they win someday" since they got a draw out of him. So not "reincarnate" more like stole a version of them an incarnation of them from another world, our world. Perfect since they did not "Belong" there

well technically tet existed before he was wished into existence by riku since he, like all of the other sentient concepts of disboard, existed in the spirit circuits. But yeah riku's gave him a form in the world and everything else is right (as far as I am aware)

Quantum Anomaly

The movie (based on the 6th Ln volume) didn't flop: it made 700mil yen, no one actually knows for sure why kadokawa doesn't make another season or movie: the LN sells well, the anime is beloved, the movie made tons, even the author vouches for another season. But an interview with the director sorta suggests/implies that the lack of season 2 is because the anime was too "unique" and finding the talent involved may be too difficult. Another popular theory is that they're afraid that a bad season 2 could ruin the reputation of ngnl. I haven't found where that theory stems from tho.

Yes, but all the infinite theoretical Old Dei have Materialization conditions (e.g X amount of believers, and Y activation requirements at conceptual level. We can presume Tet's key condition was the Greatest Game basically, and despite only having 2 believers, he was able to materialize because of the proximity of the Suniaster acting as a power source in a sense). Well excepting Holou ig, who is the oldest deity & materialized before there existed living beings as believers to begin with, which I guess makes sense given her core concept of Doubt.

Kinda lowkey mad, considering S1 essentially ends on the prologue of the series, smh... makes me just as mad as no S2 for Mondaiji-tachi either (S1 also ended on the series prologue basically).
