Cor Leonis is Subaru’s Authority of Greed, and it allows him to either share the damage he takes with a person he has a bond with OR take on the damage that person he has a bond with. In Ram’s case, because she’s missing her horn, fighting takes a toll on her in terms of extreme physical damage. Subaru is instead, with Cor Leonis and the bond he has with Ram, he’s taking her backlash onto himself so she can go all out against Lye… which is also why Ram said she needs to end the fight quickly, or that sustained backlash will kill him. So basically… Subaru’s new power is S&M.

Ram is the reincarnation of the oni god. If she hadn’t lost her horn and Ram weren’t a twin, the only person who would have been stronger than her is Reinhart. As it is, with only one horn, she would have been fifth strongest.

Apparently cor leonis only raises her horn's ability up to 20% so this episode we only see ONE FIFTH of the strength ram would have with one horn.

Joe, Volcanica is AFK (I lowkey wish bidya games let us set AFK answering machine for our character, like "I'm taking a shit, brb"), what did you expect after bro's had to sit on the tower for 400 years w/o anybody? Give bro a break... Reid is built diff as a Sword Saint. Also he hasn't actually existed outside of the book until someone pulls the sword, I guess. So for him it's literally he just suddenly woke up a couple days ago, vs Volcanica sitting on the tower for 400 years, AFKing. At least I presume so, since we knew Volcanica wasn't dead, so he wouldn't have a Book of the Dead to use as a duplication device. Joe, you do know that well-trained horses can adjust themselves to balance their rider, right? It's basically the same w/ best girl I presume, I don't see why not when IRL horses who don't have human-level intellect can pull that shit off too...

Who is to say Rem isn't a sub-unit for Oni God? She seems tanky af etc, maybe this new duo party set-up was a ranged-meatshield comp? The bozos just assume twins don't have the combined power of a single Oni for w/e reason (it'd obviously be nerfed to an extent, since it's not 1 person using 100% of the power to support the peak capacity, but split between 2 so there's no chain reaction to get to that level like a solo individual, but it has some other perks compared to a solo build).
