Yo! I just checked into today's stream towards the end of it and caught that you were having issues with peaking/volume if I remember correctly (I am very sleep deprived heh). I'm actually a classically trained singer and while it's not what I specialise in I have studied some production and audio work. If you are having issues with your volume you could do the usual methods (lowering your gain, adding a limiter, mic placement etc.) but I would highly recommend getting a compressor. A compressor unlike a limiter which just cuts off gain at a certain point uses a ratio threshold. So, when your gain reaches past that threshold it will lower the volume of that sound. For example, at a 4:1 ratio any sound coming out past 4dB will be reduced to around 1dB. To work one does take a bit of learning and tweaking to get a sound you like but it's a relatively straightforward process that shouldn't take too long. A physical compressor unit will set you back a lot however there are compressor softwares which do nearly as well. I can't vouch for any live compressors myself but there will be free softwares or softwares under 100 dollars that work very well for their intended purpose. I also believe OBS and Streamlabs have their own native compressors that do a good job as well. You do have to be careful around some compressors which could warm the sound but if you just pay a bit of attention it shouldn't be an issue. The best thing in my opinion to do is to have a compressor and then a limiter on top of that at a much higher threshold but what you think is best is your prerogative. Now, you could already know all of this and me typing this was a waste of time but I hope this helps! Much love from NZ!

just giving you a heads up if you're going to read/listen to the light novel; cour 1 roughly ends in the first 3 chapters of volume 15 (im not TOO sure because I read the web novel and so I have not read the LN yet, I got this info from the wiki) Maybe someone who has the LN can give u more insights on when to stop but from what I'm seeing on the wiki you should definitely stop before Chapter 4 of Volume 15.

The absolute dead eyed shock Eris had at first, the LN makes it seem like Eris.exe stopped working lol But then for her to have her reason drawn back after hearing about the battle with Orsted. Maaaan, next cour is gonna be AMAZING.

I don’t know why, but every time I see Eris happy it makes me feel joy (more so than with Roxy or Sylphie). Perhaps it’s because I’ve seen her develop so much and she’s the most expressive love interest. Her energy is just contagious.

Another great react man, I love watching you react to these! This show is so good! After watching this episode, considering some of the things that were said by hitogami and rewatching Turning point 4, I realised something and this is purely my speculation/theory (So nobody tell me if this is actually accurate, as I haven't read the LN yet). From our perspective, Turning Point episodes are always a shift in the story for Rudeus. But like you said a couple episodes ago, they technically take place over multiples episodes. So how is that specific moment a turning point? We now know about summoning, time travel, and destinies. Seemingly things Hitogami hadn't foreseen happening and couldn't control. Each turning point seems more like it is a shift/disruption in whatever Hitogami is planning. Also remembering that Orsted knows Rudy wasn't from the timeline he knows, meaning the same for Hitogami, like mentioned in this episode. Turing point 1: Nanahoshi got summoned and Hitogami interacted with Rudeus for the first time, during the blast as this was the first big change. Turning point 2: Rudy interacted with Orsted, someone Hitogami has no vision of and can't predict, and something that massively caused both Rudy and Eris's perspective of the world to shift. Turning point 3: Seemed more tame but Rudy didn't follow Hitogami's caution and in turn saved Roxy. Ruining Hitogami's plan again. And now Turning point 4: Rewrote the entire timeline because Oldeus time travelled and foiled Hitogami's original plans. Each time a Turning Point happens it seems more like Hitogami is trying to course correct because something changed. I really hope I am right here cus that would give such a different meaning to the Turning Point episodes in my opinion, moving it away from specifically Rudy and each time being some unseen issue to Hitogami's ultimate plan. Shifting that perspective would make much more sense on why they are called Turning Point or at least I think so. God I love this show so much! All the best!

I kinda think that Rudeus is forced to go after Orsted anyway. If not Hitogami is more likely to find a way to target his family in the meantime. Also Oldeus told Rudeus to not go against what Hitogami says. He's doing well. He just have to ask Orsted motives upon meeting him (that's the doubt part). Basically playing along, especially if what Hitogami said happen to be true but not blindly, still looking for closure when meeting Orsted (the doubt part). Everyone thinking Rudeus is dumb and they wouldn't have gone after Orsted but it would have caused more trouble I think.

If I was Rudues, I'd tell man-god that I'll raise my kids to worship him and ensure they raise their kids the same so they'd never want to team up with Orsted.

We be desapointed all we want (about the choice of figthing Orsted) . He is kinda doing to the right thing with the info he has right now. (nothing dumb about it, we can't just forget what he has seen and the diary, it has nothing to do with "don't trust the man god" and everything to do with ok so the man god saw almost everything of the conversation with Oldeus and he said he will kill the family and he is still watching him...) Oldeus told him to not make Hitogami an enemy and Hitogami just confirmed that he will still find way to go after his family. And since he follows him Rudy better try his best to at least make believe until he find a better solution. Anyway it's really hard, what are we expecting him to do. No perfect option here. Of course we viewers can find "potential" solution but that's EZ for us we are omniscient and we did not live the trauma like him. Basicaly as long as he take his "killing" of Orsted seriously man god might stop his horrible plan for a time. Meaning Rudy just bought time. And time as value. Super Good reactions. oh and in the end it's perfect because the letter would probably not have worked on Eris simple mind without the part about Orsted. She trained, All her life was for something like this, She now has a end goal and it's stronger than anything else in the letter, well for her.

true I agree 100%. Of course with reason we think we have better options in mind but we are the viewer so yeah we cheat in a way but the reality is Rudy does not have all the perfect information, he is living the thing. Rudy is in one hell of a stressful situation, after all he just had a taste of what horror he could face.

so i actually had been using a compressor and limiter and many other software plugins and effects. The issue specifically with the Compressor is that when I get loud like startled or mad, my mic gets quiet so it reduces the intensity that I believe should be felt in that moment. I recently (literally like a day or two ago) removed the compressor and tried to mess with some other things. I need to be able to peak and get loud when its necessary. That's my issue at the moment.

If I had one singular preference about how this cour ended, it's that I wish they would have saved Eris receiving Rudeus' letter to open cour 2 with, for two reasons: 1. to give the illusion that it actually took time for the letter to go from Sharia to the Sword Sanctum (because that felt instantaneous); 2. because she opened that letter with a sword other than the one she's been using for more than a decade. Her new sword is a very cool one and I wish they had gone into how she acquired it. Other than that, I can't wait until cour 2 - it's going to be insanity. And between Sylphie and Roxy, the only thing Sylphie knows about Eris is she's the girl that broke Rudeus' heart so bad that she had to go to extraordinary lengths to heal him. However, Roxy has known about Eris going back to when Rudeus was tutoring her and they were sending each other letters, then knew about them being the party Dead End, then probably heard a few more things about her when she was traveling with Paul to Begarit (or at least what he knew). Her base knowledge of Eris is better than Sylphie's, which is why it's easier for her to accept there was an error in communication between the two, which was why she was able to suggest sitting down and sorting it out.

I own the light novels, the end of chapter 3 is where Rudy walks out of the room. That being said, just opening volume 15 could be massive spoilers as it features art work of things not yet shown in the anime.
