I don’t think Amamya is a coward, deep down. I see him more as someone who can never make up his mind. And I simply think that Momoka—as you yourself pointed out—is a master manipulator. And if there’s one thing that makes my skin crawl, it’s people who act that way (I’ve experienced it firsthand in real life, in a friendship spanning over 20 years). So, just as I’d say to that person I know in real life—though here I’m referring to Momoka—I’d say: fuck off, Momoka. 😅

Brickland

Momoka is the co-worker who steals your idea and presents it to the higher-ups to get the promotion. She has one point though. Just because you like someone, doesn't mean I shouldn't shoot my shot on the same person. However, it's different when you act like a friend and ask for my blessing of you confessing your love to my crush that you pretend you don't know about. Then you're a piece of trash. That's all Momoka's been doing. Find out which guy a timid girl has a crush on, and then snag her guy. And I'm sorry, but if you have feelings for a girl, and then some other girl confesses to you, you reject her, she knows you like someone else but doesn't care and starts crying, and you eventually say yes to her, then you are a coward. Yes, Momoka is a master manipulator. She knew exactly which strings to pull, especially the "do you know if she feels the same way about you" string. So instead of finding out if the girl you like has the same feelings for you, you instead go for a girl you have absolutely no feelings for because she doesn't even mind if you don't. That is Cowardice. Because what is the endgame here? Do you want Koyun to find out and see how she reacts to it? Which is malicious. Or are you just giving up on Koyun? I know, this is all teenage drama. And we gotta feed the audiences.

i think the hate towards Minato shouldn't even exist in this case, we are just outsider watching, this is highschool time, if you in highschool tried with the girl you like a lot of times and obtained only cold shoulders in return, and a beutifull girl like momoka confessed i think 90% of highschoolers would accept, only Minato isn't doing for that reason but he will try to fall for Momoka so at least he can fall off love to Koyuki so they can be just friends again and his felling won't become an hindrance, and for Momoka i think you can thinks that her mentality "everything is fair in love and war" to the extreme, everyone when commits cruel action, finds justification or belittle this other party to not feel bad about those actions, Momoka sees Koyun as someone undeserving of happiness because her only focus in life is not being hurt so of course she doesn't feel bad, is like feeling bad for someone who says i don't have money and doesn't work for it, so i can understand Momoka to some extent, she even went and told koyuki that Minato likes you. I think Momoka was fair to Koyuki in this but unfair to Minato, she planted ideas in him to give up on Koyun, only because she can't stand that a passive waiter as Koyun obtain Minato without doing anything. So in all fairness when you watch someone from an outside POV, everything change, for example from the outside we didn't blame much koyuki for toying with Igarashi even if she accepted to escape bullying and was convinced she would fall eventually, but from Igarashi POV she's hoe, rightfully so, even Momoka has this immature concept that eventually Minato will certainly fall for me, i will force the love into him, but Koyuki learned that Love can't be force with that lesson with Igarashi, Momoka not, so none of them are bad just immature. Everyone has a price in which they moral compass falls, is easy to follow it in a normal state of mind (but when you are in love, enraged, greedy) those are the real moment when someone is tested. ( if you find a wallet on the ground with 10$ you are likely to give it back, if you find 5k you will make justifications i need it more than him, he probably has a lot, humans at the end are selfish)
