Ok. To get the correct pronunciation of David's name, I highly suggest looking up the song David Duchovny by Bree Sharp. This became a theme song for all us XFiles girls who loved David lol. He is in another movie that bombed, but I liked called Playing God. And he is in a terrific rom com, one of my faves, that I shall request for Valentine's Day lol. He plays the sweetest character. But yes, he never really had breakout roles in movies. This movie is just fun and I always liked it. Glad you enjoyed. Oh and the governor was Dan Aykroyd who was in Ghostbusters.

Ivan Reitman directed both this and Ghostbusters, if y'all care. Also back when Bree Sharp's song was a thing and Duchovny was asked about it he said he made up his own version for his then wife: "Téa Leoni, why won't you blow me?" 🤗😂
