My episode is an interview with Comet the Reindeer. Was there an upload issue at first or is this an elaborate bit?

Sarah

I genuinely teared up a little in the last 5 minutes. The Boys Are Gud

I’m with you guys…just went to Steak and Shake for the first time in years and it was unbelievably good! I couldn’t quit talking about how delicious it was. Yeah it’s gross that it’s all kiosk ordering now, but everyone working there was so nice and they genuinely seemed to be happy at work. There was a lot of fun banter between the guys on the grill and we were greeted when we walked in and told to have a great day on the way out. Fries were awesome, the shake was to die for(egg nog shake) and I don’t think I’ve had a burger this good from a fast food/fast casual joint in years. The whole time I was eating it I was thinking of your first 2 eps with Evan and kept telling my group about the corporate MAGA POS that has been overhauling the company for years. I can’t say enough good about the food and the employees. I hate who owns the company and how he operates everything, but the product was incredible. The only thing that ruined the experience was a giant poster at the exit of Steak and Shake employees with none other than Sardar Biglari in the center. It was a stark reminder of who I had just supported, but because the world sucks, all I could do was shrug and say “well, at least the food was awesome”. I guess I give this meal “5 MAHA Jars of Beef Tallow”. Thanks for 10 great years of entertainment

I’m going to say before listening….my wife wanted to get Steak and Shake a few weeks ago, first time we had it since precovid. We were baffled by all the maha and bitcoin stuff lol but I’ll say begrudgingly the food honestly was awesome

Matt Swiger

I love the epiphany and growth, lol. It's true though, you gotta realize people of all walks will go enjoy a meal somewhere, many don't know or care about the CEO, they just want to have a good meal and a good day. The employees too, just trying to earn a paycheck, many in the industry also aren't concerned about the views of the CEO nor can always be so picky, they get what they can. The average person doesn't have their face glued to the news 24/7, we're all just trying to live life and survive. These culture war people that like to boycott a place aren't really hurting the person they're upset over, they're hurting the low paid employees. If enough people stop attending a business in a city, that Francis closes to no skin off the leader's back, but the workers lose their job. At the end of the day, who cares? Enjoy good food, solace or time with friends. The memories made are the most important. As for society, humanity's been crap for milennia, that will never change. There will always be terrible people, just as there always have been. We only hurt ourselves by trying to hide from it all and live in our bubbles XD
