I loved 28 Days & Weeks and watched Years last week finally… I really didn’t like it. The characters were all really grating, relied too much on the trope of characters making terrible decisions in horror movies, the style of the killshots didn’t jibe with me, and it felt about 30 minutes too long. I loved Ralph Fiennes character, the concept of the Infected evolution was very interesting, and the ending was so weird in the way I love. Looking forward to checking out Bone Temple regardless.

Portland—Seattle Amtrak is the way to go. Been using it to see baseball games last couple of years.

Sofia

Future double idea: "Reheated Rivalry" - the boys eat leftover restaurant food from 24 hours before and compare results

Zach Coty

Crinkle cut is f tier

MDub

The Seattle to Portland drive is a notorious slog without any good food stops between Portland and Olympia. I recommend the train or the short little Horizon flight instead of the drive. Also, with Ivar's, the quality varies widely between locations. How far back is the episode where they have the bad Ivar's experience? I'm curious which one they went to.

Wtf roast tater is easily S tier

Simone

36:25 is when they STOP talking about boogers, eating boogers, whether shit is less gross than boogers, etc. 🤢 This is for anyone who thinks they would be grossed out by hearing all that (don't worry, you won't miss any good jokes in that section ✌️).

Drew

Legit pissed me off with their ranking of potato wedges. All of them clearly never lived by a Piggly Wiggly.

Irvin

I know it is totally not the show, but it would have been fun if they rated things like hasselback, boulangerie, or dauphinoise. Up top they were talking about seeing french fries with steak like it was a new thing, so, like I sad, not the show.

David Rosenthal

I’m flabbergasted by the au gratin hate. Potatoes with cream, cheese and onion is good af.

Daniel_

Boogers > turd in a bowl

Drew

While not the purest expression of the humble spud, a samosa has be my favorite potato delivery form factor

Matt G.

Potato salad is S tier. Especially a good German style or one with a non mayo dressing. Steak fries are dog shit tier. I wouldn’t even have brought them up to rank.

Marshall Mulkey

Every day I get closer to leaving this god forsaken place what do you mean curly fries are the worst type of fry fuck you

Shampoo Man

When they started talking about pirogies and gnocchi at the same time I legit entered a flow state. But baked potato is S tier... wtf??

Dylan Bacon

Any other Nebraskans here that got as excited as I did?? It has to be RUNZA!

Preston

Microwave the russet potato for two minutes and it cuts the time in the oven by half. It’s my go to baked potato. If you live in an apartment it will keep you from heating up the whole place and saves electricity. I second the oil and seasoning on the skin as well.

KD

Shocked by this list. Crinkle cut are good? Au gratin are bad? And that’s just the beginning. Appalled

Kathryn Evans

this feels so shitty because I'm a huge fan, but man is it annoying how Nick suddenly says "potaters"

Vaughn Stewart

Flaked potatoes (instant) are s-tier. They’re literally just cooked potato, no additives or crazy processing. Long shelf life, quick and easy, tasty way to have mashed potatoes on-hand and ready in like 5 minutes.

Corey Vaughan

the curly fry slander is disgusting and I for one am considering writing a letter even more strongly worded than this post.

Vaughn Stewart

What becomes most clear is that you’re all coastal elites who don’t eat midwestern potato perfection

Rob and Margo

Time to be pedantic: pierogi is already plural. I only know this because one of my friends wrote and performed an indulgent one-man show about his grandfather and made pierogi

Kaiden Davis

Gnocchi is easily the best pasta by far. Perfectly soft, and light yet somehow hearty too. Fantastic

Jason Ciraolo

unpopular opinion: 80% of the time mashed potatoes are bad, C tier

Dude

Anyone got a name on the late night Toronto pierogi bar? Headed there in a few wks

Josh Mclane

Jfc the amount of booger talk
