Kris Fellows

What is the first chain restaurant you all plan on eating after the new year?

Brian Glowienke

I recently had a night of drinking and ordered Taco Bell for my wife and I late at night. The orders with delivery and tip rounded out to around $60. What is the most amount of money you’ve spent on one fast food order not for the podcast?

Doug Justice

Which fast food side item (fries, potato olés, any kind of common fast food side) could you eat the most of in one sitting? How, and why? Thank you.

Wade Hampton

How many toppings is the right number at a frozen yogurt bar?

Jason Ciraolo

What's your favorite "value menu" item at any fast food restaurant? Mt. Valuemore?

Kevin Asher

If there's a holiday like Thanksgiving or Christmas that you have to miss due to the pandemic, what would be a good chain restaurant to get takeout from that would still feel like a special experience for you? Also, yusong: who are you currently running with in Genshin Impact?

Jackson Turner

What is one nonedible thing you've always wanted to try? Don't ask why, but mine is a candle. Just want to take a big ol' chomp.

Kyle Baker

Are you and mum gonna share a New Years smooch?

Jackson Turner

If you could pick any fast food mascot to kiss at midnight, who would it be?

Not_a_gov_contractor

Hello Doug boys. Recently Nick mentioned he doesn't look at his phone on Sundays. Knowing this I have made a new years resolution. How many people do you think you have shaken hands with in your life who didn't wash their hands after taking a dump? I didn't shake a ton of hands before quarantine so I would ballpark my own life around the teens but you two have done meet and greets and are in the industry.

Chelsea

When I was a kid, I went to catholic school and on Fridays we’d get hot lunch from BK. And my mom supported me being a little fat girl and would get me a double order of the nuggies. And I would exclaim, “I LOVE THESE SO MUCH I COULD EAT MY WAY OUT OF A ROOM FILLED TO THE BRIM W/ THESE AND STILL WANT MORE!l So if you guys had to eat your way out a room filled with X what would X be? Love you guys. Spoon Nation. Also I think there should be a whole episode dedicated to Emma and her picks. She rocks

Matthew sprague

What is a traditional NYE food that you get? Ours was Pizza Hut. What about NY day? We did the cabbage thing. Ugh.

Meridith

What's your favorite thing to break a fast with?

Nick Costanza

What was the biggest restaurant mistake that worked in your favor? One time I ordered two cheeseburgers at McDonald’s and they made me wait in the parking lot because they didn’t have any prepared. After about ten minutes a worker brought out a bag with FIVE cheeseburgers, two large fries, and a profuse apology for the (not that long) wait.

Bob

Not only are most people hungover New Years morning, but most chain stores are closed. Whats your go-to hangover cure when you're stuck cooking for yourself?

Matt Morgan

Any favorite snack that is made worse by supersizing or adding extra of the ingredients? Examples: Love Oatmeal creme pies, but the Double Decker version is disgusting. Too much cream, even for a creamsman! Also, Kit Kat is perfect, the "Big Kat", not so much.

Ethan

What is your 2020 Food of the Year? (Meaning the food that has most come to prominence in your life during this year.) This year I've gotten very into everything bagels and avocado toast, two things I had never had before 2020, and now I have them both on a weekly basis, making them my two Food of the Year co-winners.

I could eat a 6pack and a Pound from Taco John's as an appetizer to dinner. Gonna go find the potato oles recipe and make meat and potato burritos tomorrow.

Martin Teller

Mitch, what is the reasoning behind "cupcakes are pie"? Is it because Hostess cupcakes have filling?

Michael Pemulis

After you’re about thirty, does New Year’s Eve suck?

Jaime Berman

If you could switch the food associated with one holiday to another holiday, which menu would you move? For example, moving turkey and stuffing to Valentine's Day, or moving Halloween Candy to Veteran's Day.

Kathryn Evans

Hello and happy holidays Doughboys, Emma, and potentially Yusong! New year's day is traditionally a pretty low key, hungover day for me. I'm curious to hear what your favorite hangover meals and drinks are...what types of things do you crave when you're not feeling great the day after partying? Are you hair of the dog people? Do you go for coffee? I personally like to go for a blue Gatorade and some macaroni and cheese (usually an Amy's frozen one these days). Sounds gross maybe but something about those items makes my post-party rumblies feel better. Sorry Mitch. Anyway, love the show.

Doug Justice

Favorite music album digested in 2020?

2econdbreakfast

Of the fast food dessert offerings, what's on your Mt Dessertmore?

Andy

Do you agree that more fast food chains should have onion rings? They’ve gotta be super cheap to make (onions are as cheap or cheaper than potatoes), and everyone loves em! It would be a game changer McDonald’s introduced onion rings, wouldn’t it?

Chase Scott

This year I gained an interest in sneakers and purchased roughly 60 pairs. What has been any unusual Covid purchases you’ve made this year ?

Doctor Remulak

Hey Dough Crew, do you remember what you did for Y2K new year? (Nick and Mitch, please explain to Yusong and Emma what Y2K was) Thanks and Happy New Year!

Jessica Rodriguez

We have seen the Thanksgiving power hour...We have seen the chicken nugget power hour...what is something else you could eat or drink every minute for an hour? Please do another power hour to help me get through working from home. Thanks Doughboys!

Steven Smith

This is a question for everyone. Why do you think humans require an arbitrary milestone like New Years or a birthday to decide to make positive changes in their lives rather than making those changes as soon as they realize they have a problem? Is it a silent admission that life is a series of unending setbacks with only a slim chance of nominal, inconsequential progress?

Nate Thurman

Do you have an ideal handful for certain snacks?... like when I eat Cheez-It, three squares is the perfect bite for me. I like four pistachios per handful... and when eating Chex Mix you have to avoid getting too many pretzels in one handful. Extrapolate to any snack you like! Any thoughts??? Love the show!

Conor Mulligan

Once quarantine is over, where is the first place that you would like to travel to? What about the first restaurant you would like to dine-in at?

Pamela Mejia

What's your weirdest food or eating behavior? For instance, my favorite part of the pizza is the crust, so I always take all the toppings off, eat those, and then eat the crust bare - saving the best for last. Yes, I'm a monster, I know. So, what are yours?

Mark gallo

I’ve been going to Hooters on Christmas Eve with my dad and brother for 10+ years, it started because the restaurant was close to the mall for some last minute Christmas shopping. The tradition has grown to encompass family friends and had 30+ attendees at its peak. Do you have any holiday specific chain restaurant traditions?

BuffAaron420

What are some fast food freebies that you take home and repurpose? For example I will take the Papa John's Garlic Sauce and add it to my Scrambled Eggs or I'll use some freebie chopsticks to stir some paint. Happy New Years! <3

Bellwood Family

Best food to give or receive as a gift? (For a bad example, fruitcake!)

Alex Christy

New Year, New Wiger-- Will Nick finally get his money back from Denny's?

punk bong

Is there a flavor that if your cum tasted like it, you'd actively consume your own cum?

Danny Knox

Hey boys, im from New Zealand, i live a short drive away from where they filmed the barrel race scene from the hobbit. I dont have a question, but i just want to let nick know his asocial takes on big occasions like new years etc make me feel less bad about my own dislike of big stupid and ultimately pointless social gatherings. Thanks Wigey. Keep living. Hi and love to all the dough-fam. Come to NZ, mitch you can peek me all up and down.

billy

If you all (Mitch, Nick, Emma and Yusong), for your "Chew" Years Resolutions, were only allowed to eat at one chain restaurant for all of 2021, which one would you choose and why?

Kyle O'Connor

Who are you hoping hosts Jeopardy going forward? Also hold long did it take Nick to recover from the Power Hour?

Keri Estes

I’m not all the way through the doubles, but have we ever heard the story of how Mitch & Wiges met? I heard they were “internet friends” but can you tell us the story of when you met IRL? 🤣🤣🤣

SP

There are websites where you can order food from famous restaurants or bakeries around the country - the food ships frozen and is supposed to be as close to the experience of eating at the restaurant as you can get without actually traveling there. A lot of the places are chains, like Shake Shack, or small chains, like Momofuku. If you could order something from any restaurant and it would taste nearly as good as in person, what would you order and where would you order it from?

Alexander Wood

Dear Nightspoon et. al, what food that has been depicted in film/television would you like to try the most? (Example: imagination feast from Hook or one of Fred Flintstone’s giant BBQ ribs)

Emilio

What’s a snack that you get tired of eating very quickly and can only have small portions of? For example, I like regular salted potato chips, but I can only eat a little bit before I get tired of the taste and can no longer enjoy them. Thanks for the pod! Makes my Tuesday and Thursday mornings much more bearable during my 4am maintenance shift at McDonald’s. -Emilio AKA Undead Maggot from the Doughscord

KonradWBresin

The dough boys famously can’t be but, but if you did what would be the most “sellout” thing you would do?

Vivian Chen

Favorite quarantine food memory from this year? Or a meal or snack that you had that helped comfort you from the impending sense of doom.

Andy Pederson

What fast food or chain restaurant item would you leave out for Santa on Christmas Eve in lieu of homemade cookies?

nashville

Happy New Year! Auld Lang Syne is always a drag for me. What food-related song would you ring in the New year with?

Paul Carlson-Thompson

Have either of you been in a food fight? I have a friend who was in one in middle school and she says it was exactly like in the movies. If you could have one food as your main weapon and one as your side arm what would they be?

Sam Stowe

Hey boys, Emma, and ghost of Yusong! I was just listening to an old episode, and Nick mentioned that he used to enjoy listening to musical cast recordings as a kid. It made me wonder if any of the four of you had a favorite musical (stage, movie, or otherwise). Thanks! Happy Holidays

Austin Brungardt

If you had to get rid of one your favorite items from your favorite fast food place in order to eat better for the New Year, which one of your top eats do you think you’d be willing to sacrifice?

Joe Gruber

Hey, I have a 2 part question. Have you seen the sleeves tweet? Will sleeves be a guest on the pod soon?

Michael, Ben and Caroline

Which kind of fruit must have a large wedding ceremony with lots of people in attendance? P.s. My name is not Benjamin Brewer, it’s Michael from Alabama.. I called in to the audio feed bag.

Owen Burr

Hey doughboys, wondering what your favorite party “finger foods” are? I know I’m always excited when I got to a party and there’s a nice spread of stuff. Mini Quiches? Lil Smokey’s? Maybe a Mac and Cheese Ball? Hope you’re all doing alright. Love to Wally and Irma.

Brandon Shaw

When you guys were kids, did you ever get the Welch's sparkling grape juice on New Years? I remember that being like liquid gold and always seeing it at the grocery store around the holidays

mr_dumb_shit

Hi doughboys, Emma, and Yusong! I recently have fallen in love with White Castle's frozen sliders that are available at grocery stores, despite never having been to a White Castle in person. If you could have any fast food item available in the freezer section of your local green grocer, what would you choose? P.s. Yusong did do something wrong.

Sam Silsbee

When I wear my 2019 feast coast tour t-shirt (size XL, suck it other east coast chubby guys) my 22 month old daughter points at the pictures of you boys and says “dada.” You guys dad-cucked me. Two questions- will you be my daughters snack-fathers, providing treats in case of my untimely demise? And if you could be adopted by any fast food mascot, who would it be? Bless up, boys!

Walker TKL

You just got your covid vaccine. What's the first restaurant you're going to for a sit down meal? Chain or otherwise

Keith B.

Hi guys! As a kid my folks would often put out a spread on New Year's Eve while we waited for the ball to drop. I remember my mom would buy shrimp and prepare cocktail sauce. Some of my favorites would be pigs-in-a-blanket, Lipton French Onion Dip with Ruffles, and sparkling apple cider (non-alcoholic for the kiddos). Would your families go all out on New Years? If so what are some of your favs from before you could go and be wild on New Year's Eve? - Thanks for being awesome and stay safe! - Keith. PS: Can't wait to see "Tomorrow War", NightSpoon! - whenever it finally comes out.

Ben McDonald

Border Town Question (proposed name for the ongoing saga of Taco Bell): Have any of you experimented with using non-Bell hot sauces on Bell products? I’ve found that the glaring blind spot in their menu pallet is citrus so citrus-based hot sauces really add something new. Queen Majesty’s Jalapeño Tequilla Lime is a great one to try and I would send a bottle to Palmerston if we were in the before times.

Will

Hey Boys! I currently live in Connecticut and this past week drove down to see my family in North Carolina. My wife and I stopped for lunch at Taco Bell along the way. We each got a CGC and a crunch wrap with cinnatwists As soon as I took one bite of the CGC I said damn this is a "good" taco bell. My wife, who doesn't eat much fast food said "what the hell does that mean?" Everything was hot, tasted fresh and crispy. Even the sodas and cinnatwists were top notch. I tried to explain what I meant but in my mind thought this would be a good question for the doughboys! So do y'all have specific chain locations you know are "good"? Or have certain requirements for what a "good" chain location is? Thanks for all the great content over the years, y'all are truly a blessing! Will Oxford

Keith Tonsager

Hey Doughboys! What is your mount wilted greensmore? What greens and preparations do you like, especially when it comes to romaine and iceberg?

Preston Fanta

What are some of your favorite tastes/flavors? Flavors that you always love or gravitate toward. I love the chocolate/peanut butter combo, guava, and pretty much anything labeled "zesty." What's your personal Mt. Flavormore?

Preston Fanta
>>48825673

I like this, because you have to pick something that's going to still taste good having sat out overnight.

Brian Rideout

Hey doughbabies, Happy Holidays to everyone. Just curious if Mrs. Mitchell is paying for all of Mitch's food/groceries while he's in quinzy in his childhood bed or if they're splitting food costs or what. Seems like he sends her on a lot of errands for the show. Love you all so much. Could listen every day if you could post it. Midnight Snacks is the best episode ever (next to wendy's w Paul Rust) ummmm no peeking ;) wiger hates fries

Alex Kauffman

After Thanksgiving, I was imagining a restaurant that would be Holidays-themed and would serve beloved dishes from different holidays. 2 questions for you: would having access to foods from different holidays at a single meal be enjoyable? And what are the dishes they should serve to represent the best of each holiday (Thanksgiving, July 4, etc.)?

Matthew Green

Hey boys, what reality tv show would you participate in if you got to/were forced to? I have been watching survivor during quarantine and would love to see Wiger heat up a salad over an open flame.

Christopher Brown

If you had to plan an Oceans style heist, what four fast food mascots would you pick for your team? Thinking a weapons person, computer expert, safe cracker, and confidence person.

Benny Scheckner

If Nick and Mitch were Jews and had to keep kosher, what fast food places would they frequent?

Andrew Burt

New Years and the winter season always remind me of crab feeds. Do y'all have any experience with crab feeds? Unlimited crab, pasta, salad, bread- served by either high school volunteers or old people! They're fun!

Marie Boobies and Ricky Dicks

Hey Doughboys, we're big fans that found you via the Talk-O-Bell on High & Mighty this year and we just can't quit you. This pod is complete insanity #realsickfucks and it's all we have. ❤️ Have you considered couples counseling? YOU RUUULE!! #wooshfrommars

Ruth-Or-Consequences

Who's Mitch kissing at midnight on New Year's Eve... Wolly or Irma? And how does he decide between the two???

Robert Logan

2020 Has been a sledgehammer of a year. We all feel a little bummed out and are searching for any kind of meaning; When did you all realize that our suffering would bring nothing but more death and decay? Answer on show plz

Jeff Pomaybo

Happy holidays Doughgirl and boys! Mitch! How's the fasting going? I'm a fato too, but I'm down 45 lbs since I started fasting from 336 lbs in Aug. How are you keeping it up a few months in? Do any of you have any tips on when you plateau on ur diet? Because I think I'm about to. Thanks everyone and Good luck Mitch!

Jason Faust

If it were possible to pickle some wild shit that is not currently pickleable, what would you pickle? Me, I'd go with mozzarella sticks. Pickled fried mozzarella sticks. Maybe the pickle brine has some sort of marinara essence in the brine?

Mike

Have you ever discovered something new at your favorite fast food place after being away for a while? I went on a camping trip once and our first stop back in civilization was at Taco Bell where we saw Baja Blast FOR THE FIRST TIME. We all wondered how long we had really been gone. Love to you all.

Chris Thornton

We know Mitch and Nick are good smelling boys, but what exactly do you all smell like?

sara isett

what are your current comfort snacks to keep you from spiralling??? currently i cannot stop buying peppridge farm thin and crispy toffee chocolate chip cookies, sharp cheddar/parmesean cheez its and betty crocker fruit snacks (any shape cuz they’re all the same flavors. scooby doo, star wars and spongebobs have all been regulars)

Christian

While not food related, my friends and I would pick a random stupid song to ring in the new year with. One year it was Sandstorm by Darude, another year it was Bite it you scum by GG Allin. Do you have any random traditions for new years eve? and if not what song would you suggest I ring in the new year with this year as i can't be with my friends this year. Thanks love the show!

Sara Green

A question for the gang (group, squad, stoner and a ghost and some dudes): if you could design your own signature dish at a restaurant, what would it be? I want all the details, I wanna know your choice of side, drink, garnish, protein, greens, grains - all the deets please. Love you all, but Emma is the best out of all of you, gotta support other stoner ladies. Keep blazing gang ✌️

Joseph Derian

The year is 2025. President Dwayne Johnson has just ordered that the entire country must get super shredded and buff. Leading the lone band of rebel thiccbois is none other than Mitch and Wiger. After learning the whereabouts of the last crate of Ben&Jerry's ice cream, the thiccbois attempt to steal it only to learn it was a sting operation and are caught and thrown in jail. You are sentenced to slow, cruel death by walking on a nonstop treadmill at 2.8 MPH and 1.5% incline. What is your last meal?!?!? Also how do you escape? This is my favorite segment. Thanks and all the best! Joe

Kyle Beaudette

Fast food is great, but it gives us all awful gasblasts. I'm from Canada, and in 2004 me and my buddies drove down to Cornell (knowing no one there) to party and yell at the Americans for voting Bush in for a second term. We snuck into a party in a Frat Mansion. A DJ was playing awesome music in the basement and everyone was dancing. My stomach rumbled, and I knew it was going to be bad. Sometimes I get truly awful gas. Well, I farted, and it was so bad that people ran screaming away from where I was in the large open area in the basement where we were all dancing. Like, they were scared. I ran away too, saying 'Oh my god! what IS that?" and I farted again where the crowd had gathered and they all shouted and screamed and ran again, all the while with me keeping up and also pretending I didn't know what this was. I knew though, it was one of my horrible sulfur eggfarts. They are rare for me, and are caused by fast food. Do you guys have any stories of a time you farted and ruined something? Or just a horrendous fart? Sincerely, Kyle B

Michael Goldman

What are your new chews resolutions? What foods that you find disgusting will you commit to giving a second chance in 2021?

Emma Graysmark

What do Doughboys and co eat when they’re going through a break up/get their heart broken. During my last break up I existed off of nothing but 1-2 scoops of raw Cookie dough per day (do not recommend)

Johnny Pomatto

I love listening to your culinary debates, but truth be told, I partake in very few chain restaurants myself. Most notably, I haven't been to a Taco Bell in over 20 years, when my friend worked there and told me unforgettable horror stories of less than ideal work conditions and food preparation. While many of these practices may have since improved, and/or been specific to this location, my imagination runs wild with what happened behind the scenes has kept me away. So question, are you all ever put off by the idea of how some of your favorites are made (pink slime and the like), is it ever enough to put you off a particular menu item, and what advice might you give me to get over my mental imagery and give me hope for one more run for the border? Thank you, Spoon, Burger, and the invaluable Emma, for all you do.

Gordon Sheldon

How long before Mitch breaks whatever food related resolution he sets for himself.

Stephanie Harvey

Since it's the season of gifting, what is your favorite kind of food gift basket to give or receive? Or, if you could build a gift basket to send to the aliens, what would be in it? Thanks, Doughboys! -Steph from Philly

Brian C

If you could choose any restaurant to start offering their version of a Happy Meal for full-grown adults, who would you choose and what toy would you want? A decadent Cheesecake Factory meal that includes a Switch game springs to mind for me

Sam Wotherspoon

What is a food, meal or cuisine that you’ve never tried, but would like to in the new year?

Rombus

Hey Doughboys, I was listening to the episode where Mitch said a pizza tasted like puke. There’s a great pizza place here in Baltimore called Barfly’s that a friend used to call Barf-lee’s. Now that’s the only way I can pronounce it despite it definitely not tasking like puke. It got me thinking, what’s your favorite restaurant nickname or mispronunciation? Examples I can think of are Mickey D’s for McDonald’s as a nickname and, for some reason, Chi-Pol-Tee for Chipotle as a mispronunciation. Ryan in Baltimore

Peter Thornhill

Question for Emma: What chain restaurants or menu items are you passionate about? We've heard plenty from the guys, but I'd love to know what in the world of chain restaurants gets you excited (or is it just that sweet, sweet Doughboys money)? Thank you

Corinne Schwarz

When I was a kid, my family always did appetizers for NYE to make it feel special, even though we had the same thing every year. Our go-to apps were Lil Smokies wrapped in those canned Pillsbury biscuits, meatballs cooked in chili sauce and grape jelly (?!), and "cheese dip" aka Velveeta and Hormel chili microwaved together. (Typing this all out, I'm kind of horrified.) What NYE food traditions do you have, or what NYE food traditions do you want to start?

Jake from MI

If you had to make a meal for each other, what would you make?

Kyle Oman

There used to be an airline called Midwest Express, and as a young boy, I remember they served complimentary warm chocolate chip cookies during the flight. I’m sure they were trash but I remember them fondly. More recently, airlines like Delta and Alaska serve prepackaged Biscoff cookies, which I love and only consume on airplanes (before the pandemic). Do you have any unique travel snacks that were hyper regional that are favorites or any you remember that are now lost in history? Or, do you have any foods/snacks you only eat while traveling? Kyle in Seattle

Ian Green

As someone with a preference for savory to sweet tastes I’ve long contended that the equivalent for “sweet tooth” should be “salt lick.” Are there any colorful terms describing eating habits you think should be adapted into the modern lexicon? Thanks! Ian from LA (PS - I once was listening to an episode while commuting on the Expo Line and saw Wiger. He was staring at his phone devoid of any human emotion and I elected to not bother him. Love you guys stay safe!)

Erik Kang

Do you have a New Years Resolution that you managed to keep?

Conor burnett

Have you ever eaten while on the toilet? What was it and why?

Zeke Gonzalez

If currency were to be switched from money to food, which food, and/or meal, would you want to be paid in?

Jay Enright

What is your favorite one two punch of fast food? For example, my wife loves the chicken sandwich from Chic Fil A combined with tenders from Zaxbys. I love getting a burger from Burger King and fries from Rally's. Burger Brigade for life.

Peter Stowe

What is your "mount fictional bostonianmore"? Mine would be Sam Malone from Cheers, Chucky Sullivan from good will hunting, Sgt. Donny Donowitz- Inglourious Basterds, and Ted from Ted!

David Tres

What is a previously believed, but now disproven food fact that you wish could have been true? For example: I wish that a glass of juice in the morning was actually healthy and not just a sugar bomb.

Bradley Linnemeyer

What would a doughboys themed pop up restaurant have in it. Dishes? Drinks? Decorations?

Brian Card

Hello guys; Third time, long time. Which fast food chain do you most associate with the beginning of the new year, and why? Additionally, what is your favorite chain or meal to eat in order to sooth that new year's hangover? I love you, and I'm in love with you. Sincerely, Brian Card

Tyson Helliwell

Hey crew, if you had to cook and eat Yusong how would you prepare him?

Owen

If all the fast food mascots were to compete in a Battle Royal/Hunger Games style fight to the death, who would emerge victorious?

Zachary Hudson

Hey Doughgang! My neighborhood used to have two Burger Kings. One was the "good" Burger King and the other was the "bad" Burger King. The "Good" Burger King suddenly shuttered its doors last week. My girlfriend and I are outraged because the burger king that survived is very inconsistent and seems to have a lower standard of quality. Anyways, do you guys ave examples of good vs bad franchises of the same chain?

Bridget

Due to quarantine depression and a shameful (??) Tom Cruise obsession I rewatched the entire Mission Impossible series. I know you ranked the movies previously on a Double before Fallout came out. Anything you’d change? Where does Fallout....fall? And to make this a Doughboys food question.....ummm what would your mission impossible burger be? (Aka an impossible patty with what else?)

joshua j guyer

Hello friends :) A couple years ago my dog got into a full crockpot of little wieners in bbq. Have you ever been bummed out by not getting to eat something because a fat basset hound ate it? Thanks, love ya.

Lance Morrison

Hello from West Newton! Why does Chipotle's chicken taste like hut dogs*, and can you name any other fast food items that taste like things they specifically ought not to? *My girlfriend Olivia--from Watertown--also says hut dogs, and it makes me so happy every time.

Seamus Doyle

I was thinking recently about Mitch trying Mambas, the candy. I remember that they came in four flavors: lemon, orange, strawberry, and raspberry. My favorite was always lemon. That being said, you only get three flavors of mambas per package, which means that you never actually know if you’ll get your favorite flavor until you open the package. Can y’all think of any other foods where you don’t know what flavor/variety (“varietal” in nick’s weird “parlance”) you will get in a food until you’ve bought and opened it ?

Laura H

I’m currently watching Yusong slay The Devil Went Down to Georgia on Twitch, and it’s got me thinking - what food item would you pay money to watch Yusong eat? Georgia-themed, devil-themed, I don’t care - just roast Yusong

Brian LaChance

Last year (maybe two years ago?) around this time you did a double called It’s A Wigerful Life. But to keep this related to New Years: what are favorite movies you associate with New Years? Happy New Year to the whole gang! PS If you ever do another Christmas-y double, can I recommend this song as a theme song? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuttin'_for_Christmas

Laura H

Nick and Mitch, what are the chains or menu items you wish had stuck around long enough for the wee babies Emma and Yusong to enjoy?

Alex Christy

2021 continues the trend of 2020 and society further erodes. You are forced to find new careers as the owner/operator of one chain restaurant location. What chain are you opening and where? Yusong is alive!

Tim Navarrette

How would you staff a restaurant with doughboys cannon? 6 positions: manager, chef, bartender, server, host, spokesperson/mascot. Staff must be doughboys n’ crew or former guests. Bonus: what platinum plate item would be your specialty? Love the show y’all!!!! Tim from PDX.

ripley

u can only eat one colour of food (ex: orange is carrots, cheddar, cheetos, orange soda, etc). what colour do u choose (food colouring is cheating)

Adam Hester

Now nine months into quarantine, fans of every sport are (generally) still unable to watch their favorite team in person. Even Sepak Takraw fans are stuck watching graceful roll spikes from their couch, unable to spend their hard-earned Baht on a good match and some cold Signha. What a shame. For all of us nostalgizing about a day at the ballpark, give us some insight into your favorite gameday eats. What is your favorite kind of food to snack on at the game? Do you have a particular dish/item you normally get at a specific field or arena? PS: I'm all about the chicken tenders and french fry combo with a tall domestic draught. Bonus points for garlic fries.

Brian Edwards

What's a treat from your childhood that you associate with the holidays?

Ryan Gillespie

If 2020 were a chain restaurant, what would it have been? What chain restaurant would you like 2021 o be?

Jacob W.

Hello Doughboys! My family does the traditional "seven fishes" Christmas thing, but throughout the years, my Mom (who does most of the cooking) has loosened the restrictions on what "fish" is or can be, and I've noticed that, in recent years, we've gotten to the point of making meals out of finger foods that are vaguely fish-centric. Last year, some of the finger foods weren't even fish; I think we had loaded potato skins in there? If you had to assemble a crowd-pleasing holiday meal out of 7 frozen finger foods / appetizers, what would you choose? Thx <3!

Are the Doughboys interested in doing a fantasy basketball league? I know you guys are huge NBA fans. Fantasy basketball is super fun.

Would you rather have to eat lettuce wrapped burgers every time you wanted the ground round or have to go with a plant-based option each time, but you still get that doughy bun? p.s. this isn’t a ploy to get Mitch to do the lettuce wrap but if anyone knows pandering it’s Mitch, so Spoon Nation for life!

Over Thanksgiving, my friends had a debate about the best fast food ranch. We had some wild answers, all ranches are unique! Which fast food ranch do you like best? My favorite is Jack In The Box's Buttermilk Ranch because I love trash.

This isn't food related but I'm curious on the boys opinion. Do you think it's possible to train a dog to consistently poop into a cup?

What is the best and worst New Years Eve you've ever had?

Karo

What’s a drink and/or food you always want to get but never do because it feels too expensive/luxurious/fancy? For example, I have a hard time justifying the price of real parmesan wedges when I get can grated stuff for much cheaper (even if it is lower quality).

So Eggnog, not traditionally warm but have you ever had an eggnog latte? Delicious.

Jeremy mann

Will Mitch ever guest on how did this get played or is he still mad?

Could Nick please randomly drink 20-27 shots of beer every now and then?

Mad & Lonely

Hey, gang! So Thanksgiving has turkey and Christmas has ham, but do you have a specific meal that you like to have on New Year's Eve? Last year, my wife and I made a bunch of appetizers to feast on and it was the best (chicken wings, spring rolls, potato skins, crab dip). So I now associate those foods with ringing in the new year.

Hi DBs! As a sketch comedy fan, it's always weird for me to see Olivia Colman prestige movie as I originally new her as being a regular from 'That Mitchell and Webb show.' My question is which Birthday Boy would be the best British royals drama?

What international version of an American chain would you want to try, and from what country would you try it from?

The dead speak! The galaxy has heard a mysterious broadcast, a threat of REVENGE in the sinister voice of the late BURGER KING. Now that BK is back, which restaurant do you think will be next to turn it around? Thank the maker we don't have another Disney Star Wars to sit through this Christmas.

Matthew G

I have never eaten at the following three chains even though they are easily accessible to me: 1. Chick-Fil-A 2. Five Guys 3. Panda Express I will immediately visit the one that you choose one for me, and I promise that I will never eat food from the two losers. Please take everything into consideration: food, drink, atmosphere, politics etc.

Hey Mitch n' Wigez! What is your favorite hybrid food item or dish? Mine is probably fried chicken and waffles! Two things that shouldn't click, but when they do - what a beautiful dance.

Matthew Ryan

Probably been asked, but just wanna know your go-to grocery store pint brand & flavor (Nick, is there a best vanilla out there???) Thanks, love u

If you guys could create a themed restaurant based on any property, no matter how unrealistic, no limitations, what would you create? Like Medieval Times but for any property, fictional or non-fictional alike. Thanks, love the podcast.

Could the ‘Boys do a competition of which fast food joint has the best kids meal toys?

Powerhouse Of The Cell

What limited time fast food item would you like to see triumphantly return as a full time menu item?

Since we can’t gather together for a holiday celebration, my work offered to buy us all lunch if we submit a receipt for reimbursement. The catch? It has to be under $10, tax and tip included. What’s the best takeout holiday lunch you can get for under $10?

On a recent episode of This American Life, they did an investigation into the possibility that pig rectum is used by restaurants as imitation calamari. They couldn't prove that it was actually happening, but they decided to do a taste test and they could not tell the difference! Would you be willing to eat fried pig rectum knowing that it tastes exactly like calamari?
