Food Microbiologist here, there are a LOT of snack foods made in the way that Pringles are (including Lays Stax). They're called extruded foods if you want to Google for more examples. I won't say either way how I feel about the whole process but I think a lot of people would be a little surprised at how a lot of shelf stables foods are made =)

I thoroughly don’t understand their disgust with how pringles are made?? Various ingredients are used to make the chips, which are then rolled out and cut individually? I don’t get how that’s so revolting.
