Scott Dillon

None at this time, thank you

Jeffrey Parties

Dream guest, but they must be fictional and they must be dead

Rob Ward

What is the best burger and fry combo in fast food? Burger is 50% of the grade and fries is 50%.

Jason Duval

What will be the Doughboys’ first meal together once everyone’s vaxxed and ready to meet again?

Earthbound books

Do you have a School Assembly you remember? Good or bad.

Taylor Gorman

Is there a specific fast food meal that is only acceptable with a substitution instead of how it normally comes?

Alex Staniloff

When you are eating a sandwich/burger/hot dog and you have finished the protein of the sandwich before finishing the sauce-and-topping-laden bread/bun do you continue to eat or is the finishing of the protein the end of meal for you?

Alan Juell

What meals do you remember having to suffer through as a kid? My grandma always made the worst goulash that was just hamburger, canned tomatoes, and noodles. Almost totally unseasoned.

Brian Fastner

What chain would make that scariest ghost kitchen?

Zane Waterer

What are your favorite Bloody Mary garnishes? Is a good Bloody Mary decked out and overflowing with all kinds of garnishes? How spicy do you like them? I've been on a bloody mary kick lately!

Jake

Where does everyone fall on the Pop-Tart/Toaster Strudel divide? What did you grow up eating and what would you choose now?

Alex

Once at Blaze Pizza I tried to order a half and half pizza. One half pesto, the other half BBQ. When it came to the table, they had forgotten to put the pesto and BBQ sauce drizzle on it so I went back to have them add it. They then proceeded to put pesto and BBQ sauce drizzles over both halves of the pizza. It was disgusting, but I figured I was to blame for picking such a terrible combination to begin with. Have you ever messed up an order by over complicating it? Should pizza places ever say no to half and half combos like I ordered?

Kyle Baker

Any thoughts on revisiting Wendy's breakfast? I had it for the first time this morning and all items were 5 forks. Arguably the best fast food place for breakfast.

Kaleigh

What are your thoughts on Taco Bell bringing back potatoes? I think y’all should do a TB revisit now that Wiger is veggie.

David Wong

Should Jollibee fries be elevated to the upper echelon of fast food French fries?

Tony Marasco

What chain would you still love going to even if they didn’t serve food? Based on branding, color scheme, atmosphere, and customer/employee loyalty or treatment, what places would you gladly support even regardless of their menu? Thanks, love the show!

Kyle Jameson

What was the first food you learned to cook on your own and is it still something you make for yourself today? Mine was French toast and I still love the stuff. It must be something you cooked and not prepared (e.g. cereal).

Evan Goldt

Do you have a specific memory of something funny happening at a restaurant?

Elliott Sablan

How often do Emma And Yusong (before he was a ghost) eat the food that is reviewed on the episode?

Emilio

Hey guys, Undead Maggot from the Doughscord here! Growing up, I’ve been in situations at home where there’s nothing to drink beside water and a 2 liter bottle of a soda that’s gone flat from being opened days ago and drinking that with a meal. My question is what do you think is the best/least bad tasting flat soda? My pick is Dr. Pepper. Thanks!

Lorenzo Pacitti

Have your go-to BrewDog habits changed in lockdown sitting around the house? Also tour Scotland thx

Powdered Donette

Have you ever had/heard of cold cheese pizza? It’s not cold pizza, but rather a hot pizza that’s then topped with handfuls of cold mozzarella cheese. It was apparently developed so that drunk pizza eaters could immediately dig in and not burn the roofs of their mouths. I tried at Little Vincent’s on Long Island and it’s a hard snack

Kyle Neal

Is there anything that you have sadly had to stop eating because your body can't handle it anymore? The wendy's spicy chicken messes me up so bad every time I eat it now and I decided I just can't go through it anymore.

punk bong

Who would win in a fight? Evan Susser or Tim Kalpakis?

SlurpZilla

Which president of the U.S do you think would be the most knowledgable of fast food, thus a good doughboys guest? Trump sure loves fast food, but Clinton was also known for his love of McDonalds. This can also include past presidents like Lincoln or our thick king William Howard Taft . Who would be the worst?

Mike C.

Now that Internet boxing seems to be all the craze, two-part question: 1) would Nick & Mitch box each other to settle the beef once and for all and 2) what would each of your strategies be? I could see Nick mastering the Philly shell.

Jackson Wright

Are there any limited-time food items that you loved when they were available but have never resurfaced? I remember loving Mountain Dew Pitch Black 2. (Yes, a soda sequel).

Sachin

Thanks for a great show! Quick question. I am taking the biggest test of my med school career in May, it’s over 9 hours long! What would be the best test day snacks to keep with me for breaks? Thanks!

Brianna Benedetti

What would you suggest for a first time in-and-out meal? New England girl heading west this summer for a road trip and am planning a stop

Adam Hirsch

Hey it’s Adam the music therapist! The activity specialist at my work has a huge book of “would you rather” questions that she often uses for her group sessions. I was skimming through it and stumbled upon an interesting food-related question: would you rather be roommates with Captain Crunch or Cookie Monster? Much love, Adam

Nick Sekerak

Are there any plans to review Applebee's anytime soon?

William Martin

I once went to a Popeyes and they said they were OUT OF CHICKEN and it'd be an hour before they had more. Have you ever had an experience where you've gone to a restaurant for a specific item and they didn't have it?

Stephen St. Denis

In college we ate very spicy wings at wing night and after we would feel very loopy, we called it wing drunk. Is there any food that makes you guys feel wing drunk?

Teeshirtsand

Which fast food chain is most dependent upon one single menu item for its on-going success? For example, would Burger King be able to carry on as a viable business without the Whopper?

Brian Whitman

For some reason, the elementary school I attended did not have a cafeteria - we ate lunch in our classrooms. However, they still provided food. Because it was the 1980s, nutrition and dietary preferences were not really important. Here was the menu for each day: Monday - Burger King hamburger, Tuesday hoagie from local pizza shop, Wednesday hot dog, Thursday pizza slices from local pizza shop, Friday Popeye's chicken nuggets. This was the same every single week and you had to order in advance months at a time. If you could design a never changing weekly lunch takeout menu like this (single item, no changes), what would be on it?

billy

Fancy people like to have fake plastic/styrofoam fruits displayed in bowls to decorate their houses. What fake plastic foods would you all choose to decorate your home?

Sachin

Thanks for a great show! Quick question. I am taking the biggest test of my med school career in May, it’s over 9 hours long! What would be the best test day snacks to keep with me for breaks? This show has kept me sane through countless hours of studying, although I imagine my grades would be a lot higher if I didn’t spend so much time listening. Thanks!

Ad Byerly

Hey doughboys. Do y’all have any activity-specific fast food habits? I go mountain biking pretty much every weekend and like to treat myself after the ride. There are some great options on my way home from a long ride - Chick Fil A or In-n-out. The bonus of associating this with biking is that I don’t feel bad about eating all of the calories after a workout. You guys have any restaurants you frequent before or after a certain activity?

Michael Yanqui

If you could only eat food items from two colors, which colors would you choose?

Peter WG

If you went full vegan but allowed yourself one non-vegan, fast-food cheat meal a year, where would you go and what would you get?

Rachel Wery

Does Mitch know that he is technically a millennial? Most people place 1980-1982 as the start of the millennial birth years.

Aaron Martinez

For the no meat shall I eat year, which fast food veggie options has Wiges come across/and enjoyed that he wouldn’t normally have if he didn’t change his diet? -aaron

Matthew Incantalupo

What is the most satisfying sound in the realm of food? Is it the sizzle of a fajita platter? Cracking open an ice-cold brew dog? Would love to hear about your auditory delights.

MeanOldPig

Wiger revealing one of the few VHS tapes his family owned was RAISING CAIN got me thinking about how I usually paired my limited tapes with certain meals. I watched a taped PBS dinosaur documentary a lot with dino chicken nuggets. I would also watch WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT and eat Chef Boyardee. Was I just a weirdo kid or did you guys have any pairing with food and certain TV shows/movies going up?

Dre

When I buy an ice cream sandwich I let it melt slightly and then, there's no other way to put this, I cunnilinguize the ice-cream out of the middle of the sandwich cookies and eat them by themselves afterwards. Is there any compound food that when you eat it you break it down into its component parts?

Sean

Hey Doughboys family, Sean from Hawaii here. As a member of the food service industry I wanted to know if Doughboys Media were to theoretically open a restaurant what positions would each of you work? Also please come do a live show on Oahu!

Lucas Gregory

I’m an elementary public school teacher in Denver, CO. I can remember, long ago when I was in middle school, a cafeteria chicken sandwich option that I believe might have been good enough to make it to at least the elite 8, if not the final 4 , in a Chicken Sammy Tourney. Can you remember a specific cafeteria food item from school that you think might stack up against some fast food heavy hitters?

Michael Yanqui

You're in lock down for 6 months, you can only choose one fast-food restaurant to eat from and the only option is delivery (no pick up) what restaurant do you choose. You can eat home cooked meals. Think about variety of items available and quality of food after delivery.

Preston Fanta

If you could take over one chain at the corporate level and run it as you saw fit, which would you pick?

James Stokes

I got married last fall and had an Octoberfest themed wedding with lots of delicious German food and beer. What would be your dream themed wedding and the perfect food to accompany it?

Steve K

Have you been to Buffalo and experienced legit Buffalo wings ??

Jon Stenning

Hey Emma, hope you enjoyed your 4/20. If you could recommend a go-to munchie snack for Yusong, Nick and Mitch, assuming they partoke in the good good, what would their personal munchies be?

Kevin S

Next live show?

Pat

What kind of food do they serve on the Lolita Express?

Molly Burkett

What you your thoughts on the freestyle soda machines? I feel that all those choice coming though one tap leads to some funky flavor mixing and makes my beloved McDonald’s fountain soda taste bad.

Thomas Chilton

Hey DoughBoys, Thomas from hot Arizona here. As vaccines start moving and things start looking more hopeful, I've started to fantasize about that first sit-down meal post pandemic and have been trying to decide what I want it to be. Also what adult beverage I'll want to go with it. Do you all have a fantasy for that first post-pandemic meal? Thanks, love the show. Hope to see you guys back at the Tempe Improv one day

Jay Enright

Hey Doughboys and Emma, Yusong, and Drop King! What is your ideal meal to eat with coworkers or in the workplace? My coworkers and I enjoy buying each other McDonald's breakfast in the mornings, and we also go out to a local steakhouse after work on occasion. Love you guys! Currently on my 3rd re-listen of all your episodes. Also, my 15 month old daughter's name is Emma (unrelated to the podcast), and she loves hearing her name when I have it on in the background. Thanks! Burger Brigade loyalist, Jay Enright.

Brett Memsic

When you're microwaving a frozen food item, do you follow the instructions with regard to time and power level? Are there items for which you have microwaving tips/tricks or do things differently from what's recommended on the packaging?

Carl

Are there any foods that make you sick just thinking about it. Mine is a food my mom used to make called ham balls. I vomited at the first bite and they are making my stomach turn as I type this.

Benjamin Simpson

Any favorite regional preparations of common foods? Growing up in Ohio, Cincinnati-style chili (a la Skyline Chili) eaten over spaghetti with cheese, onions, and hot sauce was a big one for me. There's also Chicago-style hot dogs. Note: this is not an invitation to hear more about bar pizzas—sorry Mitch.

Scott Bahr

In a “Willy Wonka” meets “Alive” type situation where you were forced to eat your fellow Doughboys crew members, but each of them were magically imbued with a flavor that corresponded to some aspect of their personality, which flavor would each of them be? Greetings from Cincinnati, hope to see you on a live tour once everyone gets vaccinated.

Sam

What “snack sized” snack bag is perfectly-proportioned? The “3 1/2 serving” Jalapeño Cheddar Chex Mix to me hits that sweet spot of ending just before you’d get sick of them.

Alexander Scott

For Mr. Slice, Yusong, and Emma: If you had to be vegetarian for a week, what would a day's meals look like for you? (Breakfast, Lunch, Snack, and Dinner)

Tad Dolphay

What is the made up food you most wish was real? Cheesy poofs from South Park, tomaccos from The Simpsons, Krabby Patties from Spongebob, what is the one food you want to try the most?

Samuel Lamartina

I recently got married to my girlfriend of 6 years via Zoom (gotta lock down healthcare somehow in these dire times). Her dad offered to buy us anything we wanted for dinner. With our options limited due to Covid, we decided on delivery and ordered up a couple of decent steaks from Outback and being from Baltimore we ordered from a separate restaurant for softball sized crab cakes. With fees and tip, it ended up being way more expensive than it tasted, but it was a meal we’ll never forget. What was the most expensive meal you guys have ever had?

sean

What is the snack food that you simply cannot stop eating? I try so hard, but once I get a bag of Doritos Sweet Chilli Heat going, it's game over. Entire bag is gone. How about you?

Umair

Similar to how Panda Express offers us cheap, easy, not-super-authentic Chinese food, what foreign cuisine do you wish was represented in chain restaurants? Mine would be Indian.

Kyle Beaudette

What food is a bad gas guarantee for you?

Jaime Frazier

I have a 2.5 year old son who has already had his fair share of fast food experiences. I often wonder what his earliest memories of eating this kind of convenient and quick food will be. My earliest memory of a chain restaurant took place around the age of 4 when I attended a birthday party at McDonalds for a classmate. McDonalds provided the cake with little sugar McDonalds characters on top. What is YOUR earliest fast food memory?

Nick Rizz

Nick from Boston here. What are two items from a chain that you love individually, but don’t work well together? (Or alternatively, any that SHOULDN’T work well together but do?)

Madeline Toelke

A former college roommate of mine insisted that peanut butter and jelly sandwiches were made by putting the jelly on once slice of bread, the PB on the other slice of bread, then marrying the two slices together to make the sandwich. However, I’m a strong single slicer - PB on one slice as the first layer, jelly as the second layer, then topped with another piece of bread to complete the sandwich. They’re small techniques but huge results in texture, taste, and sometimes debate! So, what’s the ideal way to prepare, perhaps one of the most basic but loved foods: the PB + J!

Jonathan Farnham

Did you have any fast food traditions growing up? My grandparents always took me and my brothers to Wendy’s for lunch when we stayed with them and I still have a strong nostalgia when I eat there.

Marie Boobies and Ricky Dicks

Mitch, will you tell us more about your sister's character Irma? Sounds hilarious, would she ever come on the show? Thanks, love the show, love you.

mr_dumb_shit

Hi doughboys, Emma, and Yusong! I recently have fallen in love with White Castle's frozen sliders that are available at grocery stores, despite never having been to a White Castle in person. If you could have any fast food item available in the freezer section of your local green grocer, what would you choose? P.s. Yusong did do something wrong.

Dylan Sumner

My city, Athens, GA comes up on the pod a surprising amount. Do you guys have any connection to Athens? Any plans to come for a live show?

Raymond J Hale

Have either of you ever eaten at Arthur Treachers Fish and Chips, Gino’s, or Roy Rodgers?

Brandon Fris

Can we know what everyone's summah gum is going to be? (Props to Howard Kremer)

FriendlyBeard

The Doughboys cannot be bought, but Wayne and Garth sold out to Pizza Hut and Pepsi. What is your favorite product placement?

Joseph Derian

Guy Fieri takes you to Flavortown. What is it like? What foods are there?

Jacob Moore

How did you convince PUP to perform for the Munch Madness finale? And could you get them do to the same for me? Also what music are you listening to now? (You should check out Jeff Rosenstock’s Ska cover of his own album if you haven’t heard it)

Dixon Wiles

Let's talk heartburn, fellas. I suffered greatly but learned to mix a teaspoon of baking soda in water and swallow that down... neutralizes bad acid instantly. Also, I've learned not to eat certain things at night... pizza, etc... that will upset my delicate esophagus with creeping acid. Any special techniques you've developed to knock acid down? Foods you need to avoid? Tums? Rolaids?

Lisa Segal

Hello Doughboys, Yusong and Emma! I once went to a restaurant where the sugars for coffee were re-packaged with the restaurant insignia but the ends were color coded (pink for sweet n low, yellow for Splenda, etc.) The person I was with mixed and matched them in their coffee and when I asked him why he did that, he had ABSOLUTELY no idea that the colors corresponded to different sugars. Have you ever been completely baffled by a person’s lack of basic food knowledge?

Jeffrey Loh

My question is this: has Wiger found the mini-baugette from Panera Bread in his car and how come there hasn't been another update on the Denny's refund? A question for everyone else though: what is the fast food you have gotten at a drive thru you feared would be messiest and fall in your car but you managed to consume without any spillage whatsoever?

Not_a_gov_contractor

Emma and Wiger, I recently partook of the devil's lettuce and ate a whole cake. Have either of you gotten high and eaten an ungodly amount of food?

Matthew Koslow

Mitch and Emma, have you ever watched Phantom Gourmet while living in New England? They feature restaurant all over New England, including several Quincy Places (The Clam Box and Fat Cat to name a few)

Jon P.

My friend Fotini famously ordered a plain salad (just lettuce) and a plain burger (just meat and bun) at one of the most famous Po’ Boy spots in New Orleans. What famous food sins or blunders have you committed while out to eat with friends?

George Dadasovich

Hey Mitch, Wiger, Emma, and Yusong! When I was a child, McDonald’s once had a deal where 20 piece McNuggets were on sale and my mother (who in her defense had to care for my three siblings, three cousins, and me) took us there for lunch nearly everyday for two weeks. Eventually I begged her not to take us there. Was there ever a time when you had to ask to NOT go to fast food?

Ruhid Gillani

Hey DBs, Emma and Yusong! Is there a food or meal you could be content with eating for every meal in a day? On Sundays, I could see myself drinking coffee and munching on toaster strudels all day as I lounge or work around the house

Race Jenkins

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Bryan Allen

It would be fun if you played dungeons and dragons. I would even dm for u, or u could get spencer. Anyways what race and class would you play as? And any kind of Dnd foods you would partake in?

Eric Matsuda

I once went to a KFC in Hong Kong and, among all the other unique menu items, I was surprised to find that they had a breakfast menu. You could get chicken with pancakes and eggs, chicken breakfast sandwiches, and chicken macaroni soup (a local breakfast favorite) If you could add a breakfast menu to an existing chain that doesn’t already have one, which one would it be? And would you adapt their existing menu items to be breakfast appropriate, or add something entirely new?

Kristie M

As a pescatarian I have been enjoying listening to Wiger evaluate the veggie options at these chains. Are there any menu items you'd love to try a veg version of? And is there anything that shouldn't be messed wirh? P.S The Spicy Plant Based Chicken Sandwich at KFC Canada is unreal.

Jason Tratchel

Hey Doughboys, Emma, and Yusong! I know you're fans of The Simpsons, but I'm really curious about what episodes would be on your Mount Simpmore. You all rock, thanks so much for all the "laughs"!

Nick B

Slice-Master-Mitch, I know you are a big proponent of the Bar Pizza. But what are your thoughts on classic Massachusetts North-Shore Beach Pizza? I'd like to hear what a South Shore kid thinks of Cristy's or Tripoli's.

Jared

Fuck, Marry, Kill: Ronald Mcdonald The Burger King Jack from Jack in the Box

Diego de Gortari

I traveled to Mexico City quite often to visit my extended family when I was younger, I remember always getting elote (sweet corn) flavored ice cream. Loving that flavor, it was always a bummer not being able to find it easily here in the states. Are there any regional desserts from your childhood or any combo of sweets y'all would like to make into an ice cream? Thanks for all the laughs and shout out to my gf's ice cream upstart @sadgirlcreamery

Laura Dos Reis

I’d drop everything for a doughboys cruise. What would be your dream itinerary? And which cruise line (carnival seems only natural with Guy’s burger joint)

Tysen Allumbaugh

If you had to work a shift dressed as a chain restaurant mascot, which mascot would you choose? (I spent a summer as the Little Caesar guy)

Gumgut

Hi doughboys! I was hoping you all could help settle something for me. For the past 5 or so years, my friends and I have had an ongoing debate as to whether Mark Ruffalo is an A-list actor. I figured you guys would be qualified to make this assessment based on your long list of acting accomplishments (Tomorrow War, Love, Gungan Style, etc.). Love you guys!

Chris Leal

Hoping you will all see this as it is possibly the last comment: My question is for the Night Spoon exclusively:: after eating a crispy chicken sandwich from Wendy’s, do you notice a distinct and off-putting after-taste that resonates through the rest of the day? I usually have them in the late morning while on my shift at a local retailer. Ps #burgerbrigade till I die.

Jacob Cipes

Have you tried the tacos at Burger King?

Danh Nguyen

Do you think the fad of eating extra large/obnoxious foods will go away soon? I don’t know why there is publicity of the WaCkY eats when general opinion is that it is a waste of food

Steve H

There should be a ghost kitchen that just calls itself The Ghost Kitchen and they serve stuff like the haunted hamburger and the poultry geist. My question is: isn’t that a good idea?

Evan Cohen

I've been making pancakes a lot lately and have decided I like to have a few small pancakes over one large pancake, which makes me think : which foods are better as several small portions and which are better as one big thing?

Mitchell Williamson

What would each of you come up with if you got to create your own McDonalds signature meal?

Aaron S

Hi Doughboys, hi Yusong, hi Emma, My wonderful wife Caitlin is 8 months pregnant and it seems like the closer we get to the due date, the more her cravings align with those of a small child. Her typical lunch these days include a pb&j on wheat bread, sliced apples, and a chocolate milk. Making these lunches for her day after day has me thinking, what goes into the ultimate pb&j? Crunchy or creamy peanut butter? Jelly or preserves? Toasted or not toasted? Crust or no crust? Let me know what you think. Doughfully yours, Aaron

Willie Simpson

Hi Doughboys, hi Doughboys team! My wife and I love every episode and are desperate for you guys to come back to the Big Apple one day and do a live show! Our question is, as Shake Shack has grown more national, we noticed that the quality has dipped a bit overall. Do you think the same thing happened to McDonalds as it grew in ubiquity? Do you think in the 1960s the original handful of McDonalds chains were delicious ala Shake Shack at its best but just became generic over time? Love, Willie and Sonia from Brooklyn!

Kori Caswell

I took my 98 year old grandpa to McDonald’s. When I asked him what he wanted, he said “get me their thinnest sandwich”. What do you think is fast food’s thinnest sandwich? Melvin will appreciate your recommendations.

Courtney Barnhill

Hey Wiger, Mitch, Emma, and Yusong! Next week my partner and I are moving from Ontario (ugh!) back to Newfoundland (yay!), driving about 30 hours across Canada. Due to the strict pandemic lockdown rules up here at the moment, we're trying to avoid stopping for food over the drive. What are your essential road trip meal and/or snack recommendations that don't involve hitting the drive-thru? We will have a cooler with us - so keeping things chilled is an option! PS - Mitch, we need to get you to Newfoundland someday - it has a real Ireland-vibe, and you would thrive on the food scene there (for example: Jiggs' Dinner Poutine). Wiger, you're allowed, too, but bring some mittens. Thanks for your help! -Courtney

Demian Kendall

If you had to choose between "cheese as a snack" or "cheese as an ingredient", which would you pick? Snacks would include cheese plates and any cheesy treats like Cheetos or cheese popcorn. Ingredients would include cheese added to burgers, quesadillas, sandwiches, and the like. For me, the decision came down to Cheez-Its versus Lynwood Pizza in Randolph, Mass, and Lynwood won out. Thanks Wiges, Mr. Slice, Emma, Drop King, and the Ghost of Yusong!

Drew Fisher

how are you guys doing?? that’s the question

Cheyne Ignisaban

Hello Emma, Mitch, Wiger and Yusong! I recently found out that I am lactose intolerant and have been taking lactaids. These magical tablets have allowed me to enjoy cheese and dairy heavy foods without the stomach pain and regret. So, if there was a magical tablet that allowed you to consume anything without the adverse consequences, what would it be? Sincerely, Cheyne from Minnesota

Kaila Eadie

Since I was a little kid I have eaten pizza pops by scooping out all the cheese on a fork first, then eating the doughy part with a fork and knife. I am 30 years old and was recently told by my husband that this is “weird”. Is there any food that you eat in a weird specific way?

Eric Day

Any items that are normally entrees/sides of their own that you would like to see used as burger toppings?

aurorafloyd

Hi Dough-family (especially Wolly and Irma!) I once had a first date at an ice cream place. They had a new kind of sugar free, fat free yogurt, and while we waited in line, my date kept telling me how good it was and encouraging me to order it. When we reached the counter, I ordered it, thinking he would do the same, but then he ordered a normal full-fat ice cream. As soon as we got our orders, he asked to try mine to see if it was any good. In that moment, I realized that he had encouraged me to order the new yogurt so that he could try it, but he’d still ordered his own back-up ice cream in case it sucked (which it did, it tasted awful). In that moment, I felt so incredibly betrayed, and I immediately lost all interest in him. Have you ever felt like someone “betrayed” you with food?

Conor Driscoll

Dough Crew. Let's talk smelly office foods. I'm in the military and the way my office is set up is that directly outside of my personal office there is a larger area where my soldiers work and where the microwave is. On days where my meals contain brussel (brussels?) sprouts (sprout?) you would think from the reactions of my soldiers that something died in the office. Anyways, have you ever had a work experience with "that guy" who always microwaves stinky food? Love you all, happy eating!

K-Dot

Wiger what’s your favorite part about living in LA? Mitch what do you miss about living in LA?

Brian Edwards

Taking a page from Mitch's Bar Pizza success, are there any recipes you've tried during the pandemic that you're proud of?

Mike Chambers

From your current location, how many McDonald's locations could you navigate to without using GPS?

Zach B.

As a statistics professor, I think a lot about the variability of things. I think some foods can have a lot of variability: For example, French fries have a huge range, where some fries are amazing and some fries are absolutely terrible. Meanwhile, I feel like a lasagna is almost always going to be just pretty good no matter what - it's never going to blow me away, but it's also probably not going to suck. What would you say are some foods that have the most variability and least variability in terms of quality? I hope this question doesn't get zapped or flushed!

Jess Carroll

I just discovered that 6 Mcnuggets clock in at just 280 cals. What are your favourite other secretly healthy chain restaurant options?

Alex

Hey Doughboys, Yusong, and Emma. My question is; how long can something be stuck in between your teeth before you decide it can’t be swallowed when dislodged? I have a particular pair of molars where meat gets stuck often. Sometimes I’m able to loosen it quickly with my tongue, and I’ll just swallow, but if I have to wait 30 minutes or so until I can get my hands on some floss, I’ll make sure to spit it out. How about you?

Anthony N. Petruzzi

Hi everyone, the recent double on How High reminded me that I saw the beginning of this movie on TV when I was young and semi-forgot about it until I found out it was How High as an adult. This also happened with one of my all time favorite movies Spirited Away. Have any of you ever discovered a movie and realized that you were exposed to it at a young age? I hope that makes sense, much love, Anthony (NicCage AgainstTheMachine on the doughscord)

Dapper_Dan

If instead of a world like in the movie Zootopia, it was Foodtopia, what kinda food would your co-host be? What would their job be in this food-centric society?

Alex

We live in a food-centric society.

Tim Stack

Mr. Slice & Lettuce Lad Will the Dough-A-Thon be available for archive purchase? I want to be able to relive the madness...and/or save the evidence for future prosecutions.

Dapper_Dan

*even more* food-centric

Michael Kline

Did Mitch really go to back to Quincy to work on his music? When is he releasing his single for the world to enjoy?

Spence

not sure if already asked but what would be your "last meal." appetizer, a main, two sides, drink and dessert can be the options

Eric

Subway’s nauseating perfume can invade neighboring businesses with a nastiness matched only by its sandwiches. On the other hand, I don’t mind the specific blend of hot Fries and cleaning solution you smell at certain Micky D’s. What are your guys’ thoughts on Good/Bad funky restaurant odors?

Brian Jenkins

Can you share any memories of a restaurant outing where something made you laugh uncontrollably?

Jake I

What is going on with this trend of ice cream that requires me to mix it myself? Ben and Jerry’s core/toppd, talenti layers, etc. who actually likes this more

Garrett

As a kid growing up in Michigan, Little Caesars offered fundraising DIY pizza kits that many children would sell door-to-door to raise money for their teams, schools, or other organizations. You could order frozen dough with all of the ingredients to make pies, crazy bread, and even cookies at home. That being said, what are your favorite food fundraisers? Candy bars out of a box? Good ole fashioned bake sale? Maybe even an empty pop can collection? Hope to see you in Ann Arbor sometime!

Eli Armen-Van Horn

Hey gang! What is your Mt. Sketch-comedy-showmore? For me it would be The Kids in the Hall, Mr. Show, Key and Peele, and Human Giant. Honorable mention to the Birthday Boys of course.

Dixon Stater

Hey, Y’all. One fancy treat I make for myself at home is peanut butter toast with a few cracks of black pepper. Its a good mix of sweet, spicy, and savory. Do y’all have an unusual mix of flavors for an at home snack? -D. Stater

I recently bought some Maple Cherrios. They're not very good as a bowl of cereal with milk, but they are a pretty good snack to have handfuls of as "dry" cereal. Do you have any cereals that you like better without milk? Maybe one you like both ways?

Hi Emma, Yusong, Mitch and Wiges! Wow. what an honor... Anyway, basically every night I wake up between 12 and 3AM absolutely ravenous. It’s probably because i’m always smoking weed or whatever (shoutout Emma) but usually I eat cereal or if I have the slightest bit of motivation i’ll make a turkey sandwich with lettuce tomato and mayo with some black pepper in the mayo. Also I will admit that sometimes I will eat a half package of oreos with milk or a full pint of ice cream and feel like complete garbage the entire next day. I’m a disgrace. What are your go-to snacks when you wake up in the middle of the night insatiably hungry? Thanks for being a consistent source of happiness during weird and depressing times. love you guys! -Kenny, Malden MA

When I go to fast food places I try to spend as little money as possible. Some places have offers in their apps that I like to take advantage of. For example BK has whopper Wednesday where you can get a whopper for a dollar. And occasionally McDonald's has 2 for 1 double cheeseburgers. Are there any app deals you guys like to use?

Winger- as a recent vegetarian, what fast food restaurants do you think could feasibly go entirely veggie (replacing cow meat with Beyond Beef, etc.) without losing their customer base?

Best possible four animal sandwich? ... that you’d actually want to eat? First three are easy ... that fourth always makes it weird. You can’t use the same animal twice. E.g. got bacon? No pulled pork. Or put a fried egg on a bacon cheeseburger? Well, then you can’t just throw tendies in there too - that would double up chicken. The cheese type/origin doesn’t count ... like goat cheese. This has to be the flesh of four separate animals ... in one fucked up sandwich.

Have you ever been so moved by something you ate that it brought you to tears?

After reading all the variations on the Doughathon chat, I’d like to know what you all consider to be the official spelling of Fuckston/Fuxton
