Erica Vanneste-Weber

Do you like the taste of communion wafers? I like the taste of communion wafers.

Will Jakubs

What isssss up? What is going to be your first in-restaurant meal? Are you looking forward to it? -Will

Ben

What’s the best fast food napkin to keep in your glove compartment?

John Lamb

What's your personal goalpost for it being safe to dine in again?

Iolo Roberts

If the boys could go back in time and try an older iteration of a fast-food item, what would it be?

Adam Hirsch

Hey it’s Adam the music therapist! The activity specialist at my work has a huge book of “would you rather” questions that she often uses for her group sessions. I was skimming through it and stumbled upon an interesting food-related question: would you rather be roommates with Captain Crunch or Cookie Monster? Much love, Adam

Jeff Byrne

If you could kill off one menu item at any fast food place, what would it be and why?

Matthew Koslow

What individual components (protein source, sauces, buns, etc) would you combine to make the best fast food/chain restaurant item?

Valerie Capone

Hey all! My name is Valerie and I’m a huge fan! My question is: If you were stranded on a desert island and could only eat your standard 3 meals to survive where would they be and why? You cannot get breakfast and lunch/dinner from the same place! Example: no Big Mac if your going to get an egg McMuffin! I’m from Long Island and I hope to see you guys live soon!

DartSpieg

What wine would you pair with your favorite item from Taco Bell?

Ethan Dole

Some chain/fast food restaurants offer cook at home versions of their food at the supermarket. P.F Chang’s, Friday’s, etc… Any favorites? Anything you’d like to see offered frozen and cook at home? I’m a fan of the White Castle sliders, and Red Robin’s onion rings.

Casey h

What chains would be on your Mount Flushmore, the fast food chains with the best bathrooms? Cleanliness, ambiance, privacy, etc.

Zac

Mitch- we are Eskimo brothers and because of this, I feel very close to you! She’s from Massachusetts, initials KC. From, Zac in Beverly. (North Shore rules!)

Neil L

My elementary school cafeteria served McDonald's 3 days a week, Domino's another and then subway or arby's on the last day. Ignoring how terrible this is to do to children, what 3 fast food chains would you choose for your own weekday lunches and which would be the 3 day a week one?

Alex

If you could only have foods and drinks of one particular color, which color would you choose? I would choose brown so that I could have things like chocolate, nuts, and coffee (and poop).

Matthew Incantalupo

I know you all are big fans of Costco. Every time I go to a Costco, I daydream about being locked in it overnight and having to sustain myself on what's there. Do you share this dream and how would you survive overnight in a Costco?

Michael Minea

What's your favorite fast food when traveling? Do you have a different favorite if your traveling by car or by plane?

Maureen Bozduman

Do you like to buy the big hass avocados or the bags or smaller ones?

Miriam

I work with kids and we provide snack. We have to include 2 components from 2 different food groups. For example, one grain and one dairy (graham crackers and milk) or one fruit and one dairy (apples and cheese sticks). What would be the best snack combo using these parameters?

Justin Davila

Has a fast food chain ever wronged you to the point of actively telling others to stop going?

HotSalad

Hello, Doughfam. Have you ever had any dreams involving food? I used to have recurring nightmares of bugs in the food i ate, which would sometimes stick with me

Chris Leal

My question is for the Night Spoon exclusively:: after eating a crispy chicken sandwich from Wendy’s, do you notice a distinct and off-putting after-taste that resonates through the rest of the day? I usually have them in the late morning while on my shift at a local retailer. Ps #burgerbrigade till I die.

Matthew Robison

If you could go back in time and give any individual fast food item to Jesus to blow his mind, what would it be?

Joe Gruber

When is Franklin and Uncle Howard going to be on the show?

KBD

With a hot hot summer coming, what's the #1 treat to beat the heat? For me its gotta be an oreo blizzard

Kyle Baker

What's your favorite food word you enjoy saying?

Corey Hoisington

Hey it's Nimble Dick Energy from the Doughscord, what is your Mount Candymore?

Tansu Philip

Will you ever do a boba/bubble tea episode (and then have me as the guest because I’m a boba shop owner and expert and obsessive who has been to every chain in LA? And I’m a comedian so I won’t even shit the bed?) 🧋boba gang like this mf comment rn!!!!

Jon P.

Every time I watch the movie First Cow, my mouth starts watering at the sight of the oily cakes. What’s a famous movie food or movie meal that you always thought looked delicious?

Curtis Kimberlin

If you had to merge yourself with a food item and become a Pizza the Hut style being for the rest of your life, what food item would you choose?

Ian McGuire

What will Wiger’s next podcast that revolves around him tormenting himself be?

TJ Beaton

Growing up on the east coast of Canada I always assumed people everywhere enjoyed Donair pizza and garlic fingers. What's something regional that you took for granted as a kid?

Robert Peterson

Question/suggestion for an episode: (inspired by Mrs Mitchell) try different foodstuffs with orange juice poured on them...what would you most strongly consider ignoring an OJ bath to eat?

Kyle

If you had to only live off candy for the rest of your life, then what would be your top 3?

Andy Buck

If you had to wear a cologne every day that conveys the essence of one chain restaurant item (other than sweet treats), which item would you choose?

Alec Lindsey

What flavor would you want a Zelda or Final Fantasy-style health potion to be? I would personally like it to be citrusy and effervescent, like a magically good lemon soda.

Curtis Kimberlin

In an apocalypse scenario, what food items would you stalk up on first?

Justin D

Let’s say I’m listening to Ep 1, Chili’s with Eva, and I get struck by lightning. As we all know, this would open up a one way portal where I would be able to communicate with the two of you while you record that episode in May of 2015. Per lightning-portal law, I have only 5 seconds to tell you something. What would you like me to say?

K-Dot

What kind of style of nachos do you prefer? Do you prefer dipping a chip in Nacho cheese dip? Or cheese already melted on your chips? Also for Yusong my name is pronounced just like typical “Christian.”

Matthew Arsulich

What form of food advertising do you like/works on you the best? For example, the stringy cheese when a slice of pizza is lifted up. Or, my favorite, the fizzy bubbles on a soda

Brian Fastner

Hey doughboys. What do you think Count Dooku's favorite fast food item would have been if he was from earth?

Graham

Need everyone's help for this one. What does a perfect day for the Doughfam look like? In this scenario, you are all spending a full day together partaking in all of your favorite things. Does Mitch sleep 'til noon? Does Yusong have green tea ice cream for breakfast? Love you all very much and come back to DC (now that the Orange buffoon is gone)!

Alexander Piper

Who is more of a water snob, Mitch or Wiger? Do either of you use a Brita, and will cloudy ice cubes ruin your enjoyment of a tall drink of water?

Ian Manka

Did either of you watch the VOD of any of the Doughathon that they weren't on-camera for?

Aaron C. Brown

I'm a mailman, so most of my day is spent walking. Occasionally, I'll snack on something to pass the time as I walk; a granola bar, small packets of trail mix, or sunflower seeds. So, what are your favorite/go-to snacks while on the move or traveling.

Joshua Pereira

Can July forever remain Green Grocer Mitch’s Grocery Store month?

Sam Feldman

If you were selecting a new place to live, what would you prioritize being within walking distance? Great grocery store, great convenience store, great fast food, or an Islands? Or what place(s) are your top priority to live near?

Ryan Gates

If you were forced to dumpster dive for a meal what restaurant's dumpster would you choose?

Meridith

What food physically hurts you when you consume it (or soon after) but you refuse to stop eating it because it’s just so good?

Jake from MI

When is the next doughathon!?

Brian Sweeney

In The Simpsons, Homer goes to Hell and is continuously force-fed donuts by machine. If and when you go to Hell, what will Satan use as an ironic food that you will be force-fed?

Sam

What is your dream food day? I’ll tell you mine! It would start off with a homemade breakfast (waffles, bacon, coffee, orange juice). Lunch would be grabbing takeout and having a picnic in the park (either Thai or Chinese). And dinner would be ordering delivery pizza and eating while watching a movie. Thanks guys, love you!

ohwhen

If you could negate the caloric impact of one specific meal what would it be?

2econdbreakfast

My wife was very excited to have 3D Doritos again after their relaunch. I remarked that I don't remember them being that great, since they were basically just enclosed Bugles with Dorito flavoring, which is fine but not exactly reinventing the chip. We did have some recently, and she was disappointed because I was exactly right, and now she's having a Mandela Effect crisis, trying to figure out what she remembers as 3D Doritos, actually are. So I'm curious if there are any foods or drinks from your youth, that have been relaunched that were either disapointing as an adult, or you remembered as a completely different product?

Mauricio Diocis

What Nintendo character would you want to join you in an episode and what restaurant would you go with them to?

Christian Fuchs

Dear Micheal and Nicholas, What is the highest dollar amount you have ever paid for an order for just yourself at a chain restaurant. What spurred this decision to gorge yourself? My highest dollar amount has to be after I ran the Doughboys Marathon. (Yes, I ran 26.2 for this podcast... as a joke?) I ordered, just for me, 1 stuffed crust meat lovers pizza, 24 wings, breadsticks, cinnasticks, and 2 liters of Coke Zero. Love you guys, Fuchs ❤️

Joshua Tom

What's the most discarded food side? A side salad? Lunchroom green beans? I'm fairly confident that it is a veggie side. I think coleslaw is in the top five but I do have some very pro-coleslaw friends who have taken umbrage at that suggestion.

Jackson

For everyone: is there a food or dining experience from your college days you miss? For me I loved going to the late night Greek gyro restaurant with my friends when we were very drunk.

Scott Landles

What freezer aisle reproduction of a fast food fave would you want, if available? Example being the frozen version of the White Castle burger

Andrew Saada

As a fellow heat seeker, I really want to know: what's the spiciest thing you ever ate, and how did it affect you both in the short term and long term? A few years ago I missed the Doughboys live in SF, because the night before I tried to pound as many death-wings as I could before the spice overtook my mouth. That night I found out that capsaicin is water soluble, so if you have enough of it in your body you piss spicy for quite a while.

Sam Welbel

Okay okay boys, (and Emma, and any other non-boys)... Israel???

Emilio

Mitch, if you were to go vegetarian like Wiger for a year, what would be some of the last restaurants you’d go for meat? And for Wiger, if you went full on vegan, where would you go to eat before making that shift? Thanks, Emilio AKA Undead Maggot in the Doughscord

Erik Kang

What is the best fast food deal you have encountered? Back in the mid 90s there was a Subway I would go to in NYC that had 2 foot longs for $8. 12 years before the $5 foot long promotion. Also in the early 90s at a McDonalds in Florida I went to, there use to be 29 Cent Hamburger Tuesdays and 39 Cent Cheeseburger Wednesdays.

Not_a_gov_contractor

I recently experienced being too sugared out and was wondering if any of you had to much sugar where your mouth didn't taste things correctly. where I ate a banana, had two running Gu's during a long run, ate an orange with a Gatorade after the run, then had some caramel corn with lunch. A little after lunch I had a Maibock beer, and it tasted like I was drinking sugar water, but my wife took a sip and told me it tasted normal to her. I powered through and had an IPA after that and it still tasted sweet. Has anything weird like that happened to you?

ElegantWeapon

Howdy, y'all! If you could create your own "Play Place," what restaurant would it be in and what would it be like? Thanks!

Paul Brown

In Scotland we have a bit of a reputation for battering and deep frying things that probably shouldn’t be deep fried like pizza and Mars Bars. What’s your favourite guilty pleasure that probably shouldn’t exist?

Dingus

For all: Best poptart?

doug c.

For all: Did you get into any non-sports TCGs / CCGs while growing up? If so, do you still have your collection? I.e. pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, harry potter, lord of the rings, star wars, etc

Snappingturo

Do you all have a recurring champagne/first world food problem? One that isn’t a big deal but still annoying? As a caffeine sensitive diabetic, it is a miracle anytime I go to a restaurant and they have anything to drink that isn’t caffeinated or sweetened that isn’t water. Understandably I should just drink water full stop but sometimes I want to write an appreciative letter to my local chain of burger joints that has caffeine free Diet Coke in the fountain.

J M D

The intersection between morality and food comes up again and again on the podcast: from food and its environmental impact, to wage and worker issues at restaurants to problematic celebrity chefs. Here in LA it seems I can't go a week without finding out about some new hip spot that has great food but is run by a terrible person or just so happens to be gentrifying the neighborhood it opened in. Obviously each person has to decide where to draw the line, but are there times where you've regretted eating somewhere or skipped it altogether upon learning some unsavory info, or the opposite, something you commit to eating due to some moral stance?

Jason Clarke

The CDC recently announced that fully vaccinated people can stop wearing masks in most indoor spaces. Now that returning to live touring is one small step closer, I’ve been wondering about Mitch’s play-on music. While I know his fans are still known as Spoon Nation, I feel like walking on to Soundgarden’s bop “Spoonman” no longer works now that Mitch’s alter ego is Mr. Slice. Sooo… what play-on song should Mitch use for future live shows now that the Mr Slice era is here?

Laura Dos Reis

You have rented a lake house in upstate New York (near Ithaca college!) for long weekend reunion of 15 family and friends. What are you cooking up?

Joseph Derian

Non food related question: My high school mascot was the Spartans, and 300 came out when I was in high school. I walked out of that movie more pumped and sweaty than any movie I'd ever seen. What the movie that pumped you up the most in your life?

Christopher Hua

What menu items are you using to judge a restaurant on first visit? For example, you've used a plain cheese pizza as something of a benchmark in assessing pizza chains.

abross79

Recently, my wife and I ordered Taco Bell via their app and subbed chicken for beef on all the items. When we got home, we discovered that every item had chicken AND beef on it (we still ate it, but it was...disconcerting). Have you ever similarly received a messed up item that really bummed you out but you ate it anyway?

abross79

Also, if I wear a "Dream Mitchy" shirt to Nicole Beyer's summer show in Tacoma, do you think I'll get a better or worse seat?

Danh Nguyen

What is the most memorable (good/bad) interaction you have had with a fast food worker at dine-in and drive-thru?

Kyle Beaudette

What food have you done the biggest 180 on? Something you used to hate/refused to try, and now you love it? Or vice versa!

prit

Hi doughboys. I work in advertising and have worked on commercials and stunts for several fast food chains. Some of your episodes actually helped as "research" before working on them. Has any fast food advertising stood out to you, currently or in the past? Any that actually made you want to get the food that was being advertised?

Ian

Hey D-Boyz! I grew up in the Midwest/Illinois and now live in San Francisco, my absolute favorite genre of meat dish is BBQ: charcoal, smoker, propane and Korean bbq style; all the types of fire seared flesh (and San Francisco sucks for authentic southern BBQ, the Korean bbq is legit but minimal). Being that BBQ is loved worldwide with an unrelenting cult followings. Why haven’t more fast food and sit-down chains capitalized on this very under represented style of cooking? What would be you all’s favorite BBQ staple to see as the next trend if chains got on board with smoked meats?

Jessica Rodriguez

For Nick-Given that you aren't eating meat this year do you find yourself eating vegan meat substitutes? I find that the vegan red meat subs are have so many things added into them that they often make me feel sick. On the other hand vegan chicken substitutes like Morning star chkn patties really don't cause any issues. Or are you sticking to fresh produce items along with beans/legumes? For Mitch- Are there any meat alternatives that you could see yourself incorporating into your every day diet?

Chelsea

If you had to eat your way out of a room full of one food item what would you like that to be?

Caleb Morgan

Hey Doughboys squad! Has there been a time in your life that a restaurant was ruined by finding out a controversial story or a bad practice on their end? For me, my favorite ice cream stand in my hometown was a place I went to probably twice a week. And it wasn’t until recently, having moved away from college and being back in town this year, that I’ve visited again and was reminded of the fact that the staff of the stand is made up entirely of high school aged girls who are dubbed by the owner and public as “the hot fudge hotties.” Now, as bad as this sounds, as someone who is 22, I haven’t lived with this fact much of my adult life, and in high school, this was a normal common fact, but now, I cannot stomach the idea of going to a place where a boss handpicks high school girls to work at his stand and flaunts them as well...objects. Let me know if anything comes to mind! Thanks-Caleb from Akron, OH.

Moira

If you could have a chain turned into a strip club, what restaurant would it be? What are the uniforms like? And what’s the slogan?

Pat Levy

can you all help me think of ideas for my new tattoo next month? i have gotten a tattoo on my birthday for the past four years and haven't fully decided what to go for this year. i try to have a one sincere tattoo for every two fun tattoos ratio and i'm due for a fun one this year. i've got a jaws tattoo and a cheers tattoo on my right arm and a harris wittels (RIP) tattoo on my left next to one for my grandma, and i feel like i can fully trust the doughboys crew to help guide me to my next tattoo. thanks guys, love you!!

Lindsay Anderson

Mr. Slice - I’m moving to Auburndale MA in July from Dallas TX. Originally I’m from England and lived in Melrose MA before, so Massachusetts isn’t entirely unknown to me. I am looking for advice on the first few places we should eat once we get to our new home and any input about that area. Thanks so much, spoons for life!

Smegma Sommelier

How do you define sentience and are robots sentient?

HT Miller

Howdy fellas, just want to say that after fifteen years in food service, the last few months have been an all time low. Just abysmal day in and day out. The doughathon was the first time I've ever felt that people like me and my crew were seen and appreciated. I squeaked out a couple tears at the love y'all showed, and felt a deep connection to the drive thru hero at the Quincy McDonald's. As for a question, to Yusong- can we ever expect to see a one shot Maybe Don't reunion? The candid talks between you and Kevin were beautiful and the comedy sure was existent.

OperaDog

What is more important when it comes to evaluating salsa, spice level or flavor profile? If only one of those elements could be to your liking which would you pick?

William Lariviere

Would Doughboys inc. ever consider acquiring the Deli Boys patreon and merging it under the Doughboys corporate umbrella? As a former shareholder in the Deli Boys patreon, I’m disheartened that the CEO Susser has neglected the patreon for to long. I feel like under the Doughboys corporate leadership, we can all believe that our favorite Ponzi scheme to be the shining light on the hill which we were all promised.

Evan

Hey Doughboys & crew, What's your take on that 60 Minutes UFO thing? Pretty wild stuff if you ask me. Not sure I believe it's aliens but it seems pretty weird! Thanks, Evan

Andy Francis

Now that I'm vaxxed and ready to get on a plane again, wondered what are your go-to flight snacks and are there any treats you only buy when flying? I always get some of the Sahale brand glazed cashews when I'm at the airport. I got some at the grocery store during quarantine and it was weird eating them at home. I love the Doughboys universe and community you've created. Thank you! - Andy aka GeminiGiant on the doughscord

Bill Daw

Are there plans to upload portions of the Doughathon to youtube? I missed drunk Carl. Exclamation donation!

Sarah McCullough

hi Doughboys! after watching the live stream I was just wondering if Emma’s back is feeling any better after carrying the whole thing? jk but actually, Emma if you had a podcast what would you talk about? I find you so funny and enjoyable to listen to and I was just curious about the direction you’d take creatively!

Jay Enright

If you could pick one band or artist to do an anthem for a restaurant, what would you choose? Personally, I would love to hear Wu Tang Clan do a Wingstop song.

Alexander Scott

My wife (a professional chef) and I were pondering the following question: would you rather have chicken with crispy skin and overcooked meat OR flabby skin and perfectly cooked meat. My wife and I agreed that perfectly cooked meat and flabby skin is the way to go (I mean - just toss the skin!)

Max Michael

Hey doughfam! I was wondering if you have ever pickled your own food? Cukes, beets, anything really.

PlutoniumTorch

Have you guys tried the meme pickles? Where you dump a packet of ranch mix into a jar of pickles and leave it overnight? They’re delicious!

Raymond J Hale

What is your favorite chain that’s no longer open?

Nicole

How did Nick get into comedy?? I know he left video games but don’t remember how he started his journey into improv, comedy writing/directing, etc

J.D.

What's your Twitch stream set-up? I'm looking to build out a new home office/Twitch room, and need some pointers.

Matt DeMotts

“If music be the soul of love, play on...” what’s a song about love that makes you hungry?

Gavin

Why do you jokers insist on punishing yourselves with this garbage food? Who are the perceived lunatics that would not accept a topic shift that you are trying to appease? I just want mr Slice and Wiges to live long and happy lives so they can entertain us with their bickering for another 80 years or so. I think that’s reasonable. Team Liu Crew

Eduver Romero

Hey guys, was just wondering what food themed tattoos would you guys get? Pls don’t zap me, Mitch.

Martin Degrell

Trying this Q again! From 1976 to 1987, the Swedish government owned and operated the fast food chain CLOCK. Among its items: the Big Mac-inspired Big Clock. Its main competitor at the time was indeed McDonald's -- and from what I can recall, Clock more than held its own. In 1991, the state sold off Clock to a private owner, and it quickly fell on hard times. The last of the original locations closed in 1999. QUESTION: What fast food chain would you like to be owned and run by the government?

Maia Fulton-Black

Do you look up menus and decide what you’ll be getting before choosing a restaurant? My girlfriend makes fun of me and my mom for taking hours to choose a restaurant because we have to go through the menu and decide what we think each person in the party would get to make sure there’s something for everyone. Or do you like to wing it once you arrive?

Alexander Wood

What chain restaurant would you take the aliens to to delay the inevitable mass probing. I hope they are some kind of arthropod so I could use the lobster tank at Red Lobster as an intimidation tactic thus making me, an earthling, king of the aliens.

Jet

"What do Nick and Mitch eat to stay fit and healthy between episodes? On previous eps, Nick has mentioned eating fairly healthy during the week." From Jet in Cleveland / (the red Hong Kong flag) in the Doughscord

Matt Peoples

As a kid I made my first batch of sugar cookies while watching The Hunchback of Notre Dame. The taste of that cookie is now forever linked with the images from that film in my mind. Are there any foods you associate with a specific movie or show?

Alexander Trestain

Oysters. Aww shucks or no fucks? Toppings, chewing, chain mail glove?

Eric Burns

When you get nuggets/chicken strips at a fast food spot, you can usually count on four default sauces at minimum: ranch, bbq, honey mustard, and sweet and sour. Will we ever see another default sauce in our lifetimes? Will something like chipotle ketchup, sriracha mayo, or something else become so common you can get it everywhere?

Joe C.H. Shapiro

Hey Mitch, do you brush Wolly and Irma's teeth? Just trying for the first time with my new kitten. Mitch rules.

Mister Bates

Wiger, have you lost any weight in this year of no meat shall you eat? You’ve mentioned before putting weight on while going vegetarian or limiting meat. It is tough to do when not getting as much protein. PS - I’m getting married in North Carolina on June 12th. Come review Bojangles and then crash the wedding. Emma and Yusong are invited too. Sorry Drop King.

Rudy Bribiesca

Hey doughboys. I was wondering if you have any interest in visiting Din Tai Fung. It’s a great restaurant with amazing food and I would love to hear your feed back on the restaurant. You guys are the best. California love!!! Go lakers!!!

Emma De Matteo

Hello sweet Doughboys, Emma, Yusong, Wolly, Irma, etc.! Recently I noticed that Shake Shack and Dunkin have started heavily marketing avocado on their menus as new and exciting options. To me, avocado is an old trend, like from 2015. It’s not exciting anymore. What do you think places like Shake Shack or Dunkin could add to their menus that would be new and fresh for 2021, or even 2022? Thanks so much. I love you all! Signed, a long time listener first time caller, Emma (not your producer)❤️

Alvin

What's been the best and worst thing of having to record remotely for this long? #spoonnation

Cabot Lotr

What are your thoughts on Mcdonalds' new spicy chicken sandwich? I personally think it's terrible and possibly the worst spicy chicken sandwich out of all the major chains. Also loved the Doughathon, thank you for sacrificing your health for our enjoyment. But seriously though, amazing job you guys did.

Lucas Gregory

If the obvious meal for Mario is spaghetti, what foods would you naturally associate with other iconic video games characters?

Drew Vogel

Hello, thank you for this show! It has really gotten me through some tough times this past year. My question is mainly for Yusong, Emma and DK: how do you become a producer in podcasting? I graduated last year with a broadcasting production degree and would love to get into this industry, I just don't know where to start or look. Again thanks so much for this show!

John Overby

If The Sloppy Boys had guests on their pod, what cocktail would you want to cover? Also, this may have been answered before, but what’s your Mt. Cocktailmore? #recallSusser

Andy Francis

My hometown is on Route 66 and has a classic drive-in that had a burger called the Whopper before BK existed. At some point they got sent a cease and desist order, but after proving they used the name first through old newspaper ads, were allowed to keep using it. So my question is: What's the best fast food item name that could be used at other restaurants? McFlurry, McRib etc and other brand specific names are excluded.

Jacob Moore

Thoughts on the dancing hamburger from Better Off Dead?

bradley scanlon

When I was a kid, my dad took our family on the best vacations. One time, we went to New Mexico with plans to camp in the mountains by a hot spring. We set up camp, hiked up the mountain towards the spring, only to be met by a group of naked adults! That's my story, I want to hear Nick, Mitch, Emma, Yusong and Persinger's wild vacation stories!

Bradley Linnemeyer

Hello DoughPeople. What would a Doughboys themed restaurant look like and what would it sell? Think Mooby's but for the Doughboys.

CMatt

Extremely sorry to send a suggestion, but I’m writing it because Carl Tart mentioned his love for Blue Bell ice cream on the pod before. Since it isn’t available west of Arizona, there’s an expensive special ordering option ($120+ for four half-gallons). Southerners might have a bias for Blue Bell, but if mr. Tart was open to it, it’d be a treat for y’all and southern listeners to try a few varieties. Their homemade vanilla & cookies and cream are great executions of classic flavors, and they have some great seasonal varieties (Southern Blackberry Cobbler is a gem). Sorry again for a pitch, but as creamsmen you’d be giving yourselves a (-n expensive) gift.

Derek Kaellner

If you could make a scented candle that smells like any restaurant (or place with food service, such as a movie theater or a grocery store), which one would you make? It must also be the only candle you'll ever light in your home. Love from Indianapolis, home of the first flame-broiled hamburger chain, Burger Chef. This shameless sharing of fast-food trivia should make me a member of the Burger Brigade, but I love you all equally. Thanks for all the laughs and vicarious meals this past year, Derek

William Steeves

What fast food restaurant do you enjoy dining in at the most?

Clarissa Eck

If you had to choose a Pokemon to eat and prepare what would it be? For Wiger, what are the ethical implications of eating a plant-based Pokemon such as an Oddish?

Dixon Stater

Hey there all y’all! When I was nine or ten me and my dad had some avocado slices as a part of a bougie snack spread at a neighborhood bbq. The next day we went to Publix and picked out the most unripe, rock hard avocado. Went home and gave up when we realized there was a pit. Has there ever been a good stuff that absolutely stumped you? We went through the same ordeal a few weeks later with a mango. Thanks for all the laughs, take it sleazy.

Eric

Whats your favorite chips + salsa combos? You can do no wrong with the classic pairing of Tostitos restaurant style with its Medium salsa counterpart, however nowadays I prefer to team up Utz’s Tortiyahs and a jar of Green Mountain Gringo.

Joe Grove

Hey Doughboys, taking on the mammoth task of listening through the entire back catalogue and I was stunned to hear at 54:18 in the Buffalo Wild Wings episode with Matt Selman that Nick described himself as quote "Not a heat chaser". No real question other than why have you been deceiving us?

Amy Bensted

Hi Doughboys. UK fan here - loved the Doughathon, you kept me company on a lockdown Saturday here in London. Question : are there any fast food chains overseas that you’re intrigued to try? For instance we have a burger chain called Wimpy which I think originated in the US and now seems to be only here in Britain. They famously tried to change their signature “bender in a bun” to “frankfurter in a bun” in the 90s to national outcry. That is breaking Let me Be Frank 1990s news.

Official Jay Jay Abrams

when wiger poops does he flop his hog over the outside of the toilet bowl or let it hang in the water?

Bradley

Hi Doughboys!! Does anyone you know still eat fish sticks? What is a food that used to be popular that no one eats anymore? Thanks love the show.

Justin Bruno

Hi Dough Family! What are some eating experiences where looks have been deceiving for you? For example, when you shared pictures of your recent meal from Flavortown Kitchen, I thought the food looked great and that the score would be high was surprised to learn otherwise. Conversely, have you had any experiences where the food looked terrible but was surprisingly great?

Sam

Hey Mitch, what do you think of Biden’s love for Orange Gatorade? Probably the LAST flavor I’d get, personally.

We've seen government reports of UFOs recently (likely military propaganda). If one of these crafts landed in your yard, and those little grey folks hop out, tell you that they're hungry, where would you take them to eat for their first meal on this planet?

What are some foods where the "lesser" form works better in certain situations? For example, I prefer wheat bread over white bread for a PB&J. Some people prefer Diet Dr. Pepper to plain, etc.

Hi Dough-people: Spring and vaccinations are here, it’s an exciting time to dip our toes back into society. Let’s say you’re meeting with a big group of friends for a backyard grill, what’re you bringing to plop on that grill? What’re you drinking? Also, Nick can you really suck your own D? That’s cray. Lots of love!

Andy Pederson

Nick (or anyone else): have you messed around with tofu, seitan, or tempeh at all? If so, what’s your fav? I think tempeh is super tasty and satisfying.

I have never eaten at these 3 chains: 1. Chick-Fil-A 2. Five Guys 3. Panda Express I will immediately get takeout from the one that you choose for me, and I promise that I will never eat food from the two losers. Help me Mitch, Wiges, Emma & Yusong, you’re my only hope. (Yusong, that last sentence is a Star Wars reference)

As a super busy and precocious kid, my parents would often have to pick restaurants with great kids activities to keep me busy. I distinctly remember hearing them pick a different Chili’s than the closest one because they offered an activity placemat and crayons. What is your personal favorite kids attention grabber at a chain restaurant you remember?

What's a beverage you want a Zero Sugar flavor varietal of? Tahitian Treat would be my first choice, along with any Mtn Dew flavor that does yet have one, such as Code Red.

My wife asked I post her question: Hi Doughboys, Yusong, Emma, & Drop King! Lifelong Taco Bell fan, but this year I tried a Baja Blast Zero for the first time (or so I thought). It was amazing, I went back multiple times to get a large because I couldn't believe how delicious and addicting it was for Zero calories! Every time I ordered directly at the drive thru (not the app) and specified the "Zero" multiple times, and never got any response other than an OK. Then, one day, at the exact same drive thru the nice worker told me that they didn't have BB Zero. I confirmed, do you just not have it today or have you never had it? He said they've never had the Zero at that location. I was in shock, no wonder it was so delicious it was regular Baja Blast! Obviously the next day I drove to a different TB and ordered both a regular and a Zero to confirm what I've been drinking,  it was a regular, and I had been duped for MONTHS into drinking a large full sugar and calorie Baja Blast! Have you ever been duped by a food item before like this? - Spoon Nation Forever, Jackie from Irvine

Nick, now that you're halfway through the year of vegetarianism, are you looking forward to eating meat again or will there never again be a meat that you shall eat?

John Kearney

Mitch, any chance ever that you will be vegetarian or vegan? You can still eat cheez its

Do you guys think your standards have lowered through the pandemic? When you go out for the first time will you guys be more likely to let things slide or are restaurants still expected to preform?
