Doctor Remulak

Hello all! How is the Rachel Ray bag doing?

nicole h

Does Nick Wiger have nicknames for any of his friends like Mitch does??

Bradley Wade

British fan here! Just wanted to ask an unlikely request, will you ever come to the UK!

Adrian Santos

A few weeks ago i found myself almost bringing my coffee in the bathroom. Got me thinking: is there a food or beverage that can genuinely be enjoyed while sitting on the toilet?

Curtis Kimberlin

Hey Doughfam! Love you all. During the pandemic I got super into Survivor and I’ve thought a lot about the contestants diet- consisting of a cup of rice a day and whatever other grub they can hunt and forage for themselves. Do you think you could survive the island diet and what food would do you think crave the most?

Valerie Capone

Hey all! My name is Valerie and I’m a huge fan! My question is: If you were stranded on a desert island and could only eat your standard 3 meals to survive where would they be and why? You cannot get breakfast and lunch/dinner from the same place! Example: no Big Mac if your going to get an egg McMuffin! I’m from Long Island and I hope to see you guys live soon!

Sean Toney

What's the fast food restaurant you've visited the most locations of, and how many different locations have you been to? I think I've gone to about 40 or so McDonalds in my life.

Kyle

Between Mitch and Wiger who would win in an eating contest in both in speed and in quantity. Ex: Wiger would win a hot dog contest because he can swallow them whole.

Michelle Brown

I listened to Mitch and Wiger try to remember what King Cakes are while returning to New Orleans from our Hurricane Ida evacuation, and I could barely keep it together it was so delightful. My question: What are your favorite seasonal treats that are also regional? Love, one of your three Black lady listeners.

James Gage

Hello d’boys, Emma and Yusong! Jimmy and Alice here writing from beautiful Glasgow, Scotland. Here we have a delicacy called a munchie box. It’s a takeaway pizza box containing a variety of delicious fried fast foods - pakora, onion rings, chips (“fries”), donner meat, even breakfast foods like egg and sausage. Our question to you is simple: what would you put in your ideal munchie box?

Not_a_gov_contractor

Hello hello! I was interested in know how you prioritize meals while traveling? When we recently went back to Cincinnati after moving away 2 years ago and had our list of restaurants we needed to go to while back. We realized that we had more restaurants on our list than meals we needed to eat while I'm the city. This has to happen to Mitch as he actually travels, and do you eat more meals than necessary, eat smaller portions at more places, or make some cuts?

Jake from MI

Which fast food place has the best dips? Wendy's has the best BBQ but McD has the best sweet and sour. Chik-Fil-A has a couple unique ones. What are your favorites?

Paul Warner

What is a food that you can't resist eating as soon as you bring it home from the grocery store? I personally need to have a buttered slice of Trader Joe's San Fran style sourdough the moment I get home. So good. Love you all

jacob gay

What is the best snack you've received from fans? What is the worst snack you've received from fans?

Andrew Tan

I was out to brunch with my lovely wife Maribel (pronounciation: MAH-dee-BEL) and I described my meal as "ungapatchka." After explaining the meaning of the word to my wife she flatly told me "Never say that word again." What words do you hate to hear when people describe food?

Amber Lehman

Generally, in theme parks they also have themed food, like Springfield in Universal has Krusty Burgers, Harry Potter has Butter Beer, the Avenger's campus has shwarma etc. If there was a Doughland, what sort of themed treats would you want to be there? Mr. Slice's slices?

Cordlessphone12

Which defunct restaurant chain would you bring back if you could?

William Frederick

At Moe's Southwest Grill they have the exclusive Moe-Rita in the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine. If you had to create a similar exclusive drink for a chain, what chain would you pick and what would it be?

Stephen St. Denis

Hey!! What foods make you feel funny? At wing night we would the spicy hot hot wings and it made us all "wing drunk" does anything make you guys wing drunk? -Stephen from Brooklyn

Jesse Temple

Are there any food items that you prefer the alternate versions of more than the original? For example, I have found that Heinz No-Sugar-Added Tomato Ketchup to be better than the og product. It has more of a savory umami flavor. I will also go to bat for golden oreos, although I'm sure they're as good as the chocolate ones. If you answer this thank you! If not go to hell!

Rafael Gaitan

Hey Doughboys, during the Pandemic my girlfriend and I have done our best to do right, which includes ordering a lot of takeout/ delivery with contact delivery. We've found that we're suffering from restaurant fatigue because of the limited choices in our area- are there any chains or restaurants or cuisines that you think you can't have anymore because of restaurant or cuisine fatigue? For example, it's gonna be a long time before I have Thai food and likely will never go to a Denny's or IHOP again ove the show, met you all in San Diego and got to tell Yusong he did nothing wron in person. #cummywummies

Alec Lindsey

Is it possible to single out the best meal you've ever had? I've had many great dining experiences but a single winner doesn't spring to mind. Can any of you pinpoint yours?

Geoff Pecover

Doughboy crew! What is the best and/or fanciest meal the 4 of you have ever shared, either for the podcast or not?

Brian Edwards

What's an item that, anytime you see it on a menu, you'll get it. For me it's both French Onion Soup (though my mom's is always better) and Key Lime Pie.

HotBoySoup

Now that it is #SoupSZN, what are your go to soups? I love me a nice French Onion. It’s a power soup. Thank you!

Chris Dial

Hey guys! My brother and I once said when we were in college that “no matter how much money I make, I’ll still enjoy a totinos pizza”. What are your favorite, cheap/broke foods from college or other parts of your life.

Eric Wiemer

Has Yusong read up on #DeflateGate?

Willie Simpson

The price of takeout has certainly gone up hasn't it? In NYC where I reside, I feel like prices are through the roof.

Todd LaBerge

Hey Doughboys. I just want to sincerely thank you for all the “content” you have made over the years. I realize that it has helped with my depression and I was listening to the Thanksgiving Garfield Episode with Paul Rust while playing the new 2k22 and just how much your goofiness has helped me get through each day. Thank you. Also, which food would your favorite nba team represent? I’m a Bulls fan and I think it’s gotta be a big ol Pizza. Like Jordan ate and got sick from in the flu game! Love you guys! -Todd

Austin Brungardt

Hello Mitch, Wiger, Emma, & Yusong. What’s your favorite toy you ever got in a Happy Meal or other chain’s kids meal?

The Trick Candle

What is the noisiest snack to eat? I'm thinking graham crackers with that insane packaging.

Brian Smith

As we move into Fall, are there any foods you crave (maybe Holiday foods excluded) during certain times of the year?

Chris Reid

My wife and I recently went out to a fairly nice restaurant while vacationing in Florida with our two kids (5 and 3 years old). It was early and the dining room was about half full as we got sat. My attention was on my son, trying to stop him from throwing everything off the table when all of a sudden I hear someone from behind me yell "HELP!" My wife jumps up, sprints over, and proceeds to give the heimlich maneuver to the elderly woman at the table behind me. The fry she was choking on comes flying out! It all happened so fast, and our adrenaline was pumping for the rest of the meal. The woman who was choking was in her 80s and was dining with her daughter. They thanked up profusely, finished up their meal and left. I was not looking forward to the bill because it was going to be pricey and my wife and I had several drinks. When we got the check, it had been completely paid for by the woman who was choking, and they even bought some stuffed animals for my kids! (total bill was around $150) She wrote us a lovely note about how thankful she was. Of course we tipped very generously. Have you ever witnessed a life-saving moment while dining out?

Matthew Villagran

What was the best/worst part of the 2021 Doughathon and can we get confirmation on 2022?

Morgan Evans

As Monster Fuck season approaches, could Nick describe in detail what it was like to work with Dana Dearmond?

Joseph Derian

What is your favorite character/impression of each other's? I like when Mitch does Bill Clinton, and I LOVE Wiger's "southern gentleman"

Sarah

What’s your favorite side at Boston Market?

Tyler Lorenz

Cartoons made me think picnics were EXTREMELY commonplace, and sitcoms made me think I'd spend 50% of my life in a bar or coffee shop chatting with friends. As a kid, what unrealistic food or drink themed behavior from TV, movies, etc. did you expect to engage in more, but don't?

Mike F

This one is for Emma and Yusong, if Mitch and Nick were food items what would they be and what would their fork scores be?

Brian B.

Has there been an episode where you have gone to the restaurant, either with the guest or on solo ventures, and just immediately knew that it was going to get a horrible fork rating? Did it make it easier or more difficult to talk about? Also, why is restaurant spelled so strangely?

Sam Stowe

Hey boys, Emma, and ghost of Yusong! I’m sorry to say that one of the Wendy’s nearest my house recently closed out of the blue. This is kind of a bummer for me cause it was on my way home from work and I would occasionally stop for a treat like a Junior bacon cheeseburger or Spicy chicken sandwich on a crappy day. My question is, what is the most you’ve ever ever been impacted by the closing of an individual location of a larger chain? Thanks, love you all!

jeffp29 .

We always hear of your fast food/chain favorites. Can you tell us more about some of your ‘’fine dining’’ favorites? Specifically what types of entrees, sides, etc.

Josh Kurp

I love visiting restaurants from TV shows and movies, like Holsten's from The Sopranos finale or Double R Diner from Twin Peaks (it's called Twede's Cafe in real life and there's a bunch of Tweety bird plushes all over the place — it's weird!). Have you visited any pop culture restaurants, or are there any you would like to visit? Thanks!

J.D.

Next week, my wife and I are moving back to our home state (New Jersey) after having lived on the West Coast for the past few years. Mitch, as someone else who no longer lives on the West Coast, any advice on how to deal with spending more time around family? Looking for any advice on setting boundaries, reconnecting with old friends, or any other tips from the ex-LAer.

Tim Green

If you could never eat again and still magically be sustained, would you? While this may seem like an easy answer, keep in mine this would hypothetically mean you would never have to spend money on food again (saving hundreds of thousands of dollars (a week)), never have to poop again, and never have to brush your teeth again (I guess).

jp00p

Dear Nick and Mr. Slice -- it's almost Halloween! What kind of candy do you guys give out to the little devils (sorry mitch) and skellingtons that show up at your door? Or are you too famous to hand out candy to the little civilian shits? Love ya!

Jim B

What is your go to Chinese restaurant order? (Can be East coast or west coast, whatever you prefer!) Thanks - Jim from NYC

Christopher Brown

Hey Doughboys, Emma, and ghost of Yusong, As we enter spooky season, which fast food mascot would you find to be most terrifying to feature in recurring nightmares?

Dan

I was in college in the early 90’s, and lived at Taco Bell. Since then, they have changed their menu thousands of times, as have most chains. What restaurant/menu would you like to see reintroduced as a throwback?

Michael Kamison

Hello DBs, Emma and Yusong, . I’m a high school teacher and I have to pack my lunch at home for a full 8-hour day (which I have 30 minutes to eat at 10am). When you are packing your lunch to sustain you for a full work day, what’s going in that bad boy? Sandwiches? Salads? Snacks? Thank you for your service.

Lucas Gregory

What is the worst food city you’ve ever visited? Don’t count small towns, just cities large enough to reflect the food culture of a region.

Daniel Gilbert

What's a meal you remember specifically because of the social interaction surround it?

ohwhen

Hi gang. A friend recently posed a group this question: You're at a bodega (I guess a convenience store or 7/11 is the closest LA equivalent?) and you're only allowed to buy one sweet item, one savory item, and one drink. What are you getting? I went with a Joya halvah bar, tortilla chips, and a large Polar seltzer water and was roundly mocked for weird choices.

Jason Clarke

Question for Emma: The episodes sound great, and sounded awesome throughout COVID's remote recordings, even with Zoom, uncertain guest mikes, and all the other challenges I'm sure ya'll had to endure. Aside from COVID-induced editing nightmares, can you take us behind the scenes and share how much editing is done on a typical episode? Examples would be tangents or re-takes that are edited out; fixing audio issues that would distract from the listening? Thanks, love the show

Robbie Ratking

You guys have done the Mount Rushmore of snacks but I'm very curious to know what you would consider the Mount Wackmore of snacks. Snacks that you've had that have been disgusting, strange or absolutely repulsive.

Bradley Linnemeyer

Hello Dough People, I just had my wedding, and it is great to celebrate with friends and family. From the venue, to the music, to the food the whole event felt like an extension of ourselves. With that being said, which Fast Food Mascot do you think would throw the best wedding and why?

Chel

If you could only listen to one of nick's parody songs and nothing else for the rest of your life, which song would you pick?

Kyle O'Connor

Would you guys ever tour with the Sloppy Boys? Combo show of reviewing a restaurant and a drink. I forget what episode it was from but when you were looking for a name for food that is lying to you. "Food-gazi" as in fugazi with food.

Dan

Where there any titles other than Doughboys that were discussed for the podcast?

Ed Dietz

Howdy. I think you both agreed recently that cheese pizza is the best/purest form of pizza. Similarly, some idiots around here argue that the original version of a cheese steak (just Cheez Whiz) is the best. Also, certain monsters believe a flavorless vanilla milkshake without crumbled Oreos or chocolate syrup are as good as milkshakes get. Are there other foods that are best in their plainest forms? Love you guys. Come back to Philly.

Zoe Andersen

If you could only ever drink from a soda gun, what 6 liquids would you pick for the gun? Not counting the water and soda water option.

Noah Wright

Hey guys, what food item does each host think they could eat more then the other of in an all you can eat contest?

Dan

What was the most expensive purchase placed on the Doughboys credit card for a meal, and who is responsible for the transaction?

Gary Barnett

This Halloween will be the first where I have a house accessible to trick or treaters. What is a good range of Halloween candy to stock up on, that will be accommodating for all, including those that might have allergies.

Nick Rizz

When I was a child, I ate a chicken sandwich at Fenway Park that made me throw up and ruined a night I was really looking forward to. I have been there many times since but I can’t get myself to try another chicken sandwich there, even though I love eating them elsewhere! Are there any specific foods or locations that you avoid because of one bad experience? PS. Psychologists call this the Garcia Effect and believe it is an evolutionary adaptation to help us avoid being poisoned! -Nick from Boston

Miranda Selover

Hi Doughboys, on a recent episode of Judge John Hodgman, the judge ruled about whether it was ok to eat a hamburger with a knife and fork. What is your take on this argument? Is there ever a time it's ok to eat a burger with knife and fork? I say, if it's too messy, ya gotta knife and fork it. What say you??

Michael S.

Have you tried Pringles Wendy's Spicy Chicken?

jay spanbauer

Hey Doughboys — The Milwaukee Bucks won the championship (fuck the Celtics, Mitch), and the next day, Giannis went live on his IG at Chic-Fil-A and ordered a 50-piece nugget and a large half-lemonade, half-Sprite with no ice (side note: petition to make this drink officially called “The Giannis”). If you won the NBA championship, where would you go and what would you order?

Andy Buck

Nick once said that “Toy Story 2” is his all-time favorite movie. That’s insane, but it raises a good question: Imagine there’s a Toy Story situation, except instead of toys it’s kitchen appliances and gadgets that come to life. What appliance or gadget would each of you be, and what kind of adventures would you go on??

ageeogee

What's an item that you would like to see a version of at another chain? For instance, I would love to see McDonalds try a trashy ground chicken patty like the BK Long Chicken sandwich, but informed by their nugget process. Thanks!

Alex

What’s your game plan for flights - if I end up having a few layovers, I end up eating a meal at each new airport. Are y’all snackers, do you sit down and eat at those random restaurants? I’m these are the important questions tbh.

Eric Dannenbaum

Greetings dough family. Wanted to wish a happy birthday to Mitch from someone who shares the same birthday (October 6th). My question is: back in the day what was your favorite “birthday treat” for someone to bring to school to share with the class? As an east coaster, I always went hard when someone brought Dunkin’ munchkins in. Thanks y’all, stay safe.

Michael S.

NIck, Mitch, Emma, and Yusong, did you ever see that TV show on TruTV that copied Doughboys? It's called Fast Foodies and the three chefs re-make a fast food dish that is one of the celebrity guest's favorites. The chef who wins gets a trophy called the Chompionship! WTF! Fast food, Chompionship, c'mon, that is straight from Doughboys.

Alex Yontz

What other country’s food would you be most excited to try?

Crazy Makers

I’m an American in England and the American sections of most grocery stores have stuff like root beer, marshmallow fluff, maple syrup, and pop tarts. What would you put in the American aisle of a foreign grocery store to better represent the USA?

Michael Goldman

Have you ever been in a classic school lunch food fight? ... and what food item would you reach for first when visiting the cafeteria at the Mt. Rushmore National Park?

Charlie

Hi 'boys, It's so frustrating that combination KFC/Taco Bells don't offer items that combine components from both menus. What hybrid item would you like to see at a KFC/TB? A caveat: since Taco Bell just debuted their "crispy chicken sandwich taco," you can't just put fried chicken on a Taco Bell item and call it good, that's too easy. I want you to think outside the box (or bun?). Quesarito with gravy between the tortillas? Coleslaw in a crunchwrap? SEASONED BEEF FAMOUS BOWL SUPREME?! Go crazy. Charlie from Portland, Maine PS Come to Salvage BBQ, I'm the pitmaster. I make good meat. @tedcruzofficial on Instagram

Foster Mohning

If you could choose a chain restaurant to make a version of an item from a different chain restaurant, what chain and item would you choose? Example: I would like to see Chipotle's take on Taco Bell's shredded chicken taco (rip).

John Overby

What’s been your favorite food city you’ve visited? What restaurant(s) stand out from your visit?

Thom van Tijn

Which do you enjoy more Limes or Lemons? Do Meyers lemons offer a bigger improvement over regular lemons than Key Limes offer over regular limes.

Marco Benavides

Where is the poll on the points rules in jingle all the whey

Nicholas Tallidis

In an alternative reality where climbing a mountain doesn't cause your hearts to explode, you find yourself in a situation in which you have to eat the other host (already deceased) or starve to death. Which body part do you start with?

Laura H

What is the cartoon food that always looked impossibly good to you? Mine was the pizza from A Goofy Movie. That cheese string y’all…

Jonathan

What four accomplishments are required to win the coveted Doughboys fan EGOT? I've already had a drop played on an episode (1). If you read this question on the show (2), and you also read one of the bad roasts I sent in (3), then I'm 3/4 of the way there. What would be next? Sorry, this is a dumb question.

Kate Dobday

If you were to work at a Burger King, which job and responsibility do you think you'd have? I see Mitch as the drive-thru operator and Nick as one of the pieces of machinery. (Kidding, I am interested in where you think you'd work and what skills make you suited for that job!) Thanks! Kate from BK (Brooklyn, tho)

Nicholas Hoffman

My wife Maddison asks "I prefer pizza slices when they are thin sliver or super wide and better for folding. Get out of here with those isosceles triangles! What is the optimal angle for a pizza slice?"

Antonio Bandanaz

The Wendy's Double Cheeseburger, in my humble opinion, has decreased in size quite a bit in the last 20 years. I remember the corners of the square burger sticking way out; now they're easily tucked away under that standard fast food hamburger bun. Used to be my favorite burger, but I would definitely defer to McDonald's, Burger King, Five Guys, Hardees, and others any day. Dave Thomas would be ashamed. Antonio Bandanaz in Pittsburgh

Sarah R

I recently bought a large pizza for my family and we had to choose three toppings. I chose pepperoni, pineapple, and green olives. My husband said this was a weird combination but I liked it. My question is, what are your go-to three topping choices for pizza?

Mike Bollar

What's up doughboys? Two quick questions for you. 1. How many fast food apps do you have on your phone right now? 2. When's the last time you went to the doctor for a full physical? Love the show! Don't you go dying on us!

Sheldon Vaughn

The canned cheese in that movie that Pauly Shore was always eating, also always looked amazing.

Erik Kang

What is the best fast food deal you have encountered? Back in the mid 90s there was a Subway I would go to in NYC that had 2 foot longs for $8. 12 years before the $5 foot long promotion. Also in the early 90s at a McDonalds in Florida I went to, there use to be 29 Cent Hamburger Tuesdays and 39 Cent Cheeseburger Wednesdays.

Sheldon Vaughn

Hey mitch and wiges, aside from that impossible whopper, what is your favorite vegan imitation of a non-vegan food? I really like seitan (lookout, Mitch) wings but the concentrated wheat protein really gives me the rumblies. Love the show - Sheldon in Denver

Laura H

I think #4 has gotta be getting zapped by Mitch on a call-in show.

Eric Medor

Which fast food chain has the best condiments? For me, Taco Bell is the best at what it's trying to do. The mild sauce is killer and has a unique flavor, the hot sauce is just perfect, and the fire sauce has great piquancy. As for secret sauces, I think Cane's sauce at Raising Canes is a cut above, but curious on your thoughts on this topic. Love the show. Discovered it during the pandemic and it's provided me some needed levity. Eric Medor in Costa Mesa

Alexander Greig

Hey doughfriends. Here are a few quirks about me, and maybe you can relate. When going to a sit down restaurant, I dont like when the party looks at the menu and decides what they want to eat BEFORE we sit down (during waits, or deciding on a restaurant). I think it takes away from the experience of looking at a menu and chatting about it while sitting and socializing. Thoughts? I get it when you wanna see if you like whats on the menu to see if its a choice place. But not actually decide, or look at it carefully. Thanks! From new patreon subscriber, Alex from victoria BC

Alex Villarreal

Have yall ever been surprised at how well targeted ads get your sometimes or had one get you so much that you bought it on the spot?

Sam Kimelman

If you were a contestant on MTV 90s-era dating show Singled Out and had to describe your ideal first date, what would it be?

Lexy Butschli

My first job was at a bookstore as a young adult, and next door was a Noodles and Company where they gave us free sodas anytime we came in for lunch, so of course, I became a frequent visitor. What restaurants do you associate with your first job or your first steps into adulthood?

Jacob Young

What are the foods/meals that are the defining tastes of each decade of your life? Elementary school lunch pizza? High school burritos? Oreos consumed alone on the couch?

William J Cox

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but what would be your last meal if you were on death row?

Lexy Butschli

Fantastic question, the economics of fast food pricing are so fascinating to me

DerBurs

When will Mitch start using the bathroom on mic? Can it be soon? Sincerely A shit freak

Mr. Tay Tay

I have two notes for the Cowan Prequel to Tomorrow War. One, Cowan needs to be louder, angrier, and have access to a time machine. Two, whenever Cowan's not onscreen, all the other characters should be asking 'Where's Cowan?'

The Tale of the KetchupSpectre

A few weeks ago I had Del Taco for the second time, but Del Scorcho for the first time, and it got me thinking: How many sauce packets (combined from all fast food restaurants and otherwise you’ve been to) have you used in your lifetime so far? Feel free to put it into a measurement other than packets. I would say I’ve used maybe 10 gallons, most of that being ketchup.

Jes with one S

Okay I’ve listened to all the doubles and main feed episodes and I swear this hasn’t been asked... what is your Mount Breadmore?? You got so many options. Pita, garlic, corn, rye, baguette, sourdough, French, brioche, naan, challah, focaccia...

dilahoot

Hey Doughboys! Can’t wait to see you in Portland! With Jingle All The Whey being such a great segment lately (the Price Is Right Rule did nothing wrong) I was curious what currently used jingles are your favorites. They don’t have to be food related, necessarily. My personal favorites are Popeyes and, of course, J.G. Wentworth. Thanks for the laughs and Spoon Nation for life (even though I support the Price Is Right Rule sorry Mitch).

Hai

Hi Doughboys! Can’t wait to see you live. My friends and I have been having a debate that we were hoping you could settle. She thinks people can run a mile faster than they can drink a bottle of wine. I definitely think people can drink a bottle of wine MUCH faster than run a mile. Who do you think is right?

Martin Ross

People must have asked this before, but if they have, I’ve never seen it addressed. We’ve had guest appearances from just about everyone close to Mitch, from childhood friends, to his mom- even the dang cats have gotten their moment in the sun by gracing the the Doughboys airwaves! But so far when it comes to Nick, there’s someone that gets discussed almost every episode that has yet to make an appearance. Will we ever get a chance to hear a restaurant review from Nick’s lovely wife Natalie? I’m sure fans would be interested, and her opinions would bring a lot to the show, your thoughts?

Matt G.

Two questions. 1) What’s the most money you’ve paid for a sandwich? I was telling my brother about two of my favorite sandwich spots that I pay $15 to $22 and he thought I was nuts. 2) Do you have a food memory high that you chase/ing? Example: Right after high school there was a local bakery that made the best rotisserie turkey sandwiches and they made them for only like a year but I’ve been chasing that turkey sandwich sandwich ever since. Perfect fresh baked rolls with fresh produce. Just perfection.

Pierce Bauer

My cousin recently returned from a months long stint aboard an air craft carrier. I was shocked to learn that aboard the ship was a Starbucks. A real, full menu Starbucks. If you were away at sea for months at a time which chain restaurant would you want aboard the ship?

Zeke Gonzalez

What Food Mascot would make the best roommate?

Paul J Larkin

I was recently eating some nacho-cheese Doritos and was planning on making oven-fried chicken for dinner, and I thought to myself, "Why not?" I used crushed Doritos as breading on the chicken, and was amazed at how good it turned out. My question - have you ever incorporated a junk-food hack into a recipe, and did it wind up being a mistake, a genius move, or something in between?

Michael heaton

What’s your favorite value menu item or dollar menu like mine is Taco Bell’s chicken chipotle melt

Connor

If you could cum a condiment, what condiment would you cum?

Michael Scheid

What fast food item is the definition of "we have food at home?"

Ryan Rubalcava

Fast food Converts! Which is a fast food that that a loved one was reluctant or skeptical of, that you turned them onto? I recently turned my gf onto taco bell after her insisting it was low quality trash.

Danh Nguyen

Can you review Lunchables and kid snacks to get a sense of how terrible and/or nostalgic their food is?

Mike Jansen

What is your favorite road trip drive thru order? I like the McDonald’s two cheeseburger meal because it’s easy to eat one-handed and the chance of lettuce and ketchup getting everywhere is low, but sometimes I like living on the edge and getting nuggets with a dipping sauce to wedge into a drink holder.

Must_Wash

Hi boys and Emma! Back in the early days of podcasting there was this show called Mike and Tom Eat Snacks with Michael Ian Black and Tom Cavanaugh as hosts doing what is suggested in the title. Well, they just recently released some new episodes after a few years off.. is there potential for a crossover episode? Or is there some major beef between y'all, such as ongoing litigation due to an intellectual property dispute between not dissimilar podcast concepts, preventing this epic teamup? Please make this happen! Big fan of the show, blah blah blah. Sincerely, Travis Olivera Ps the city of Utica (NY) has many unique foods that are worth a trip. Pps And what's Spoon Nation called now that Mitch is Mr. Slice? Slice Nation doesn't sound right. Either way hashtag Burger Brigade.

Jeffrey Loh

It has been almost a YEAR since RockaroundtheclockDoughberfest, please reveal the results of the Wiger/Denny's closed location refund debacle. Also if Wiger has found the missing 🥖 in his 🚗

Philip Derbesy

Wiger mentioned on a recent episode that he's in the credit card points game. As a freak who has the same hobby, I couldn't help but wonder if he would share a bit about his setup. Which cards does he have/families of reward points is he involved in? How in-depth is his spreadsheet? How insane does Mitch find all of this?

Shanno Whamo

I ordered some Domino's very drunk the other day which is kind of a rarity for me and looking at my order in the harsh, sober light of day I was like oh wow I really went for it (all the dips! the parmesan bread nuggs! 2 large pizzas!) Do y'all have any particular drunk ordering habits that you judge yourself for in the morning?

Catherine L

I recently re-listened to an older episode with David Neher where the “Hall of Snacks” was established. If you had to add to / retcon this list now (Mambas, Golden Oreos, and Pickle Chips) with snacks tried on the podcast, which would you induct? Love the show & as Nick would say, thank you for your service! -Catherine from Buffalo

Jessica Geisler

My husband and I are anxious our son won’t be a good eater. What’s the one food you would be upset your child wouldn’t eat? Mine is pizza. We saw you Sept 6 2019 at Gramercy Theater in NYC and 1 year to the day I went into labor. Mitch was on my husbands podcast Mike Delivers 😍

rynoserge

Do you agree that Heinz is the best ketchup? I get angry if a restaurant has hunts, house recipe, or a home made ketchup.

In Earth to Ned, there’s a bit where Ned is floating in a pool on Mayo. Nick, was that your joke? And if so, was because of your love of Mayo? Also, Mitch, why weren’t u in Earth To Ned?

When applying hot sauce to a fast food burrito, for example Fire sauce to a Beefy 5-Layer or crunch warp do you open the burrito or apply the sauce to the next bite?

Now that Road Trips are back, what restaurant are you aiming for when nature calls and you have to drop an emergency deuce? I.E. What fast food chains always deliver on clean restrooms when you're far away from your lovely wife/Wolly & Irma?

When I make eggs at home, I cook them over-medium, with a yolk that's firm on the outside, but not fully set inside. This has proven impossible to get at restaurants. I've tried describing the yolks "half-set," "creamy," "soft in the middle," and even "jelled," but I've never found a joint that can reliably hit that midpoint between rubbery and runny. Are there any foods you consistently cook better at home, or simply can't trust restaurants to prepare the way you like them?
