My buddy and I watched WWCF after he kept saying Grandpa Joe was a villain. The reading that Grandpa Joe is selfish because he only gets out of bed for Charlie’s prize doesn’t hold water (or chocolate river). He is never not advocating for Charlie. 90 year olds shouldn’t have to live in poverty or work. Grandpa Joe as a vilain is just a meme from people who hadn’t seen the movie in decades. Yes Nick on the CG fudge. CCF filmed Deep Roy performing each oompaloompa. Doesn’t use CG to create an army of Roy’s. DVD special features are the best.
