As you can see from the video, I spent some time this week trying to finish doing some streamlining of the magic attacks.  I never quite liked having to select which magic to use, and have been looking for a way to give you access to more magic more easily.

I've made it so one button does both an attack from holding the button, and tapping the button.

I've also mapped different abilities to different buttons.   So far I've got two mapped, but the system works for as many as I want to map ( although I only have UI elements for up to 4 magics at once).

I've also added a pop up that lets the player decide which button the magic is mapped to.

I'm going to be reworking some of the more complex magic to be cast by holding down a combination of buttons instead of from a menu, to give quicker access to that as well!

I've also got the bathing scenes all done at this point, and just need some transitions to the different animations in order to set that up.  After that the player should be able to keep Meridiana nice and clean!

As soon as I fill the spell stuff out a little more, I'm gonna release a test to look for feedback, so look for that in the next week or so!

Thank you so much for the support, and I hope everyone stays safe and has a wonderful week!

Updated Magic

I felt like using all the magic powers you could get was too complicated, and tried to simplify everything to make it easier to use. Previously to switch between your magics you had to select the one you want to use, but with the changes I can map them to one button, and give you different effects from tapping or holding that button. Currently there are two active at a time, but it can use as many buttons as I can find room for. I've also allowed the player to decide which button a magic will map to when they gain it. Next is setting up casting the big spells by holding down combinations of different magics. https://www.patreon.com/Mithos56 (NSFW)
