Yooooooo. I am so stoked. You’re a legend.

Ken S

Thanks Destin!! We had cloud cover where we intended to view... so this is a great consolation prize!! 👍😎 P.s. Already ordered mine!! Thanks!!

Mathieu Goulet

Thank you so much Destin. You are the best 🙏🏻

Thijs Moring

I just joined, but you've earned my long term subsciption with this!

Ken S

And THANK YOU... for all that you bring to us!! You know we appreciate you by supporting you... but figured I'd say it! Without the gush!! 😁👍

Anonymous Freak

Any chance of an option to get the "horizontal line" wide print like you made for Dr. Telepun, but as an actual full analog photographic print? (I know, taken on slide film adds complexity to make a positive print, but I'd love a proper analog photographic process print of it for my wall, and it would look great above my home office door as a 12 or 18 inch tall ultra wide print!) Yes, I understand an analog print of that size would cost multiple hundred dollars. And yes, I have downloaded the 7 GB .zip and could crop and rotate the included 3 GB .psb file and print it out myself on my large format printer for "free plus the cost of paper/ink", but I'm willing to pay the money for a proper analog photo print.

Matzi Hall

Thank-you Destin. This is possibly one of the coolest things I’ve ever been gifted!

Brendan

Awesome! Thanks!

Ryan Marks

THANK YOU! This is an amazing gift and it's a pleasure to receive this unexpected perk.

Troy Walker

Awesome! I ordered a print and plan on making a t-shirt for my wife's birthday next month.

Joshua Murrah

Releasing this in the way that you're doing is AMAZING, thank you so much! I have a 13x19 photo printer at home, but I may buy one of the metal prints as well. Thanks!!

SunFlames7

Thanks Destin! This is amazing and you’re awesome!

Scott Moore

This is a real blessing to have this to share with my kids and family. I talk with them about your channel and they have more than likely subscribed, but this is just another gift that shows them how cool space, engineering, and getting smarter every day truly is!

Dylan S

This year's sticker being eclipse related? Yes please!

LilyFox

THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY! Thank you Destin!

Charles Skinner

Oh my, that metal print is way too freakin' cool! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Supporting Smarter Every Day is the single easiest decision I've ever made in the Patreon space, and you keep making it easier!

Justin Lloyd Green

Thank you doesn't come close, but thank you anyway. This is so much more than amazing.

Anonymous Freak

Dang it. I just discovered I'm out of 13" wide gloss paper! I guess I won't even have a temporary print until I head to the store.

Bolt 78

Thank you! This will be going up on my office wall.

Kn1nJa

This is so awesome. I'm 100% putting one of these on the wall next to my baseball (which is in a display case).

Chris Tio

Destin, our family has always enjoyed your videos and your enthusiasm inspired me to take our family on a trip to Texas to see the eclipse this year and it was magical. You did a *GREAT* job on this photo and I’ll proudly hang the metal print on our wall next to our reaction photos. Glad to be able to help support you and your projects!

Matzi Hall

I’m tempted to take a punt on an acrylic backlit “light box” print … I feel it might look pretty cool in the dark.

Wouter

Fantastic, i'll definitely look whether I can get one. After watching the video it's definitely the first thing I wanted to do haha! Thanks for doing this.

Gordon Shenkle

Thanks Destin!!! Happy to help support you in all you do!

Nicander Hildebrand

Thank you Destin!!! I just ordered my metal print and am so exited to put it up! Your content is incredible and I am constantly sharing your videos with my friends and family.

Sean Kelly

Thank you, I can’t place the order right now, as I’m in the middle of a move, but I will be once I get settled in.

Wouter

Ordered! Thanks Destin, your videos are my favorite on youtube.

Mariana Arzuaga

Hey Destin! That's really cool of you! Thank you very much! Here's an idea for a "sticker or something": I think it would look amazing on a bracelet! Cheers!

Giraldo

Super excited to get this in the mail! It's 100% going up in the office so I can look at the everyday

Lesa Giesbrecht

Thanks for making a paper version available. I am but a poor student but I still really want a copy so this makes it accessible to me.

Nick Young

I just joined yesterday! So Cooool!!!

Tim M

Thank you Destin and all that make smarter every day happen. Each video is a delight. Learning something new each day.

John Robeson

A treasured keepsake for sure! Ordering today.

Robert Thompson

You are so welcome Destin. I have been a SED Patreon for a few years now and your content is awesome. Your enthusiasm and charisma is infectious. And I love getting a little Thankyou sticker gift from you each year. Keep doing what you’re doing and I am glad that the Patreon collective is able to enable you to do what you love. I’m sure we all feel like we get value for money with what we contribute. God bless 🙏🏼

Michael Hutchison

What an awe inspiring video, Destin. My family and I drove from Seattle to Jackson, MO and must have barely missed ya as we were close to that Drury Inn! Can't believe what an incredible shot you got! Had to buy a couple for my family as a souvenir of a very cherished memory. Thank you!

Dan Strathdee

Just bought a metallic poster, love everything you do Destin keep up the good work! Lots of appreciation from Australia!!! 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

Edward Burton

Thank you. Also, I'm seeing your content stolen & being used by others, including channel name.

Rebecca

You’ve already earned my Patreon but this confirms it! Thanks, Destin. May God bless you and your family. Thanks for opening my mind to the wonders of engineering and laminar flow haha.

The size of the paper options appear after clicking into - 10x10 and 12x12

Jeff Steiner
>>138730598

Thanks, Ragan. I had clicked into the metal print and didn't see any dimensions noted.

Erin Armstrong

as a film shooter i was soooo anxious for you the entire time, what an amazing shot

Jeff Steiner
>>138733054

Yep, it worked for me an hour ago, and again just now. Are you by chance adding an "E" to "PATRON" in the password he provided?

Eddy Gurge

Size of the metal version?

Ragan
>>138733054

I figured it out. The user interface for we transfer is kind of a mess. So it was unclear that I had to click "I agree" on a dialog before it prompted me for the password. Thanks for your help!

Dan

Purchased the metal print! 🎉

Dan

"THANK YOU" Destin for the amazing influence you've been to us!

David Williford

Dude, seriously...thank you for doing what you do! The sticker idea is pretty cool. Is there any way you could do a 3d "hologram" sticker? I've seen this done on album covers and other various applications. I think it would be very fitting and representative of the mindset of you and this eclectic group of curious minds that we call SED Patreons!

Jason

Destin. You’re a legend!

Beltdrive

Destin, your words convey your thanks quite well. I don't think I can fully convey my "you're welcome", but hey you're welcome! It has always been worth it to support you! I want to add my thank you for sharing what excites and fascinates you because all of it excites and fascinates me! -Cheers!

Jamie S.

New supporter here! Thank you Destin!!

Antonio Martorana

Hey Destin, the most important thing i learned through your videos - besides all the science stuff - is to be grateful in life and if you're able to do, give something back .. I love photography and your photo turned out so incredibly amazing! Thank you for every single moment you shared with us until now! 🫶🏼You're always so humble and grateful and I like to follow your example and try to do a little bit better myself. And why not start it with giving something back to the person who inspired me so thank you again so much! Already looking forward to the next awesome adventure in the life of Destin 😄 Many greetings from germany

Ricardo Silveira

Hey Destin. Loved following this great adventure and what an epic photo you took. Really good

Ricardo Silveira

I was also checking the ISS picture but the link is broken. Any chance we could also download that one as well? Would love to print it

Bob and Michelle Murray

Thanks Destin. This will make a great anniversary gift for my parents who got to witness their first eclipse with us.

Benoit-Pierre DEMAINE

I don't like having the eclipse in the middle of 10th and 11th yellow sun. I would have prefered the eclipse to be at the same visual distance to 10th and 11th, as the distance between two yellow sun. This choice was made when your friend calculated the times to shoot; and it's my personnal taste. If other viewers report like me, try a different timings next time :) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nMO-hL6q2jspbDzeCqxrufhwbQeFbljQ/view?usp=sharing a quick edit. Cropped 3:4 (because i don't like 16:9) Destin, this is a Google Drive share to links only; the parent folder is not public, and only people with direct link can access. If you don't like it, reply to this message and i will remove the file. Image is not share on any other place than your patreon. I won't upload on any other website, and don't publish this link any other place. I know it's not scientifically exact, but, i prefer this layout much more for my background screen :) It's not either pixel perfect edit; I am electrician, not graphist.

Chris Hinkle

It was super classy of you to think of spending the eclipse with Dr Telepun, and the way you worked together to bring about this fantastic image brought me a lot of joy. I've used his app for the last 3 total solar eclipses after hearing about it through you. Sticker -- if it's round, consider arranging the partial phases in a barred spiral around the image of totality in the center... kind of like an eclipse galaxy. I think that'd look very cool.

smartereveryday
>>138727857

Oh wow... I've been thinking of a way to display the original negative. That would be an amazing way to do it!

smartereveryday
>>138730954

No way you were in Jackson as well! That's an incredibly long drive! It's cool that this is the eclipse you guys saw as well!

smartereveryday
>>138731248

Thank you Dan! I'm not 100% sure how the international shipping will go, if you learn things about the process please let us know.

smartereveryday
>>138732305

Yes, it happens often. Feel free to pass it along if it's something I should issue a DMCA takedown request for!

Matthew J Palka

I think it’d make an unforgettable holographic sticker! Glad to contribute and make so much awesome possible. I got a metal print for my dad because he just recently got into eclipse stuff using his telescope in Vermont and he just retired as a high school math teacher. I think this will be a wonderful way for him and us to nerd over astronomy and film. He will love this metallic print! IT IS SO COOL!

Ryan Marks
>>138725595

I shared on X a picture of the photo I printed. It's going to be framed very soon.

Ryan Dammrose
>>138728110

Your video was excellent as well and made me feel better about having to miss this one. Metallic photo is definitely going on my wall. Good luck on finishing out the PhD!

David Macauley

Destin - you and your team are amazing - thank you so much. God bless and keep you all

Elmer Fud

Thanks for sharing. What size are the metal prints?

James Benslay

Just ordered my metallic print! Thank you so much Destin for allowing us to share even in a small way in this awesome achievement. God bless you sir!

Mike

thank you Destin! God's handiwork on display!

Mike Radjabov

Huge love and support from Uzbekistan! You're awesome Destin and what you're doing is incredible👍

Brian

Please at some point show some behind the scenes of "the lady" that helps and the people that are working to make Smarter Every Day so special to all of us. Ordering two metal prints for me and my dad. Greetings from Bham!!

Tim Tobin

You keep saying thank you to us, but I just want to say thank you to you, sir. You have provided so much to us and the scientific community, STEM, etc. You didn’t have to do this with your life and you have. So thank you.

Emma S

You are welcome! I support this Patreon because you inspire me, not because I expect freebies. There are a lot of fantastic YouTube channels that tickle my curiosity, but yours in particular touches the heart of why knowledge is precious. I hope that I always love learning. God bless you and your family.

Wooditdo

Hey Destin, I posted this on your YouTube channel - but you'll likely see it here first. I think you should reach out to BlackTailStudios, show him this video, and see if he'd make some wall art or a coffee table for you with that deep deep black pour epoxy. This would make such an amazing video and collaboration.

Stuart

I just ordered the metallic print and downloaded the hi-res image for a desktop background. Thank you !!!!

David Glover

Thank you, Destin, for the metallic print offer. I have ordered one for my daughter, who traveled from mid-Michigan to Ohio to be in the line of totality. She loved the experience and will be so surprised when she receives your photo. I appreciate your enthusiasm and talent. Cheers!

sarah h

Ooohhh this brings me such joy. I’m so happy to support such earnestness and delight for learning and sharing cool things

TheMoonWatcher

I hope that people respect the effort that went into making this amazing photo and comply with the generous license you've provided us with! I just ordered the metal plate, even before seeing it on video and hopefully it will be able to make its way to Bulgaria xD Thank you for the amazing educational videos that you continue to create for everyone to learn from! A few months ago, my son(10) complained to me that because we encourage him and his sister to watch videos from creators like you, Veritasium, Mark Rober, Tom Scott, etc., and discourage them from watching Mr Beast, and other click-baity, non-educational channels, his video suggestions don't get picked at school. Apparently from time to time, their teacher would let them watch something on YouTube as a class, and since most or all of his classmates haven't heard of any of you all, they don't pick those videos. I just hope that someday he'll appreciate the benefits :) I strongly believe, that even if the kids are not able to grasp all of the concepts presented in your, or other educational videos, they can still learn things from them. Anyway, sorry for the random side-tracking! I'm really excited to get the metallic print in person and congratulations on getting this amazing series of shots on a single piece of film - it is truly fascinating!

Jose Martinez

Message heard loud and clear, Destin. We appreciate everything you do for us to make us Smarter Every Day, and we're happy that we’re able to help you make it possible. Keep up the great work, Destin!

Bas

Love it, just ordered my metallic print. Can’t wait for it to arrive 😍

Chris

Such a thrill being able to be a supporter for such a great person. Humble. Curious. Caring. Enthusiastic. Enriching us with what you learn and each learning experience. And trying to make the world a better place. The metallic print will be a perfect addition to my 50 years of aerospace memorabilia. It is an honor being able to support you Destin. Thank-YOU!!!

Mary Miller

So excited! I'm definitely ordering a print, but nothing gives the dimensions of it.

Ariana Estariel

It gave me chills to see this masterpiece and brought back the memories of us seeing this in Dayton, Ohio. Thank you for this amazing photo. A priceless gift!

James Medlin
>>138797383

Second this. The poster prints are 10x10 inches or 12x12 inches, but I can't find the size of the metal prints. Am I missing it somewhere?

Michael Hutchison
>>138730954

I got the opportunity to see the 2017 eclipse and it fundamentally changed my life. I had to make sure my family got to see this one! I 100% felt it when Dr. Telepun said, "Even 4 minutes and 9 seconds is too fast." Thanks for the content Destin, love the work you all put out!

Chris Screws

Wow what a great photo!!! Thank you for sharing your heart and the photo with us! I have been watching your content for many years now (the first video I saw was the how cats land on their feet video...I loved it and was hooked and have been getting smarter every day since!!). It is a pleasure to e alble to support what you do plus I look forward to watching what your up to next!!! Lol Anyway thanks again for sharing this photo I ordered the metal print today and can't wait to see it in person!!!

Myles

Think there might be something weird going on with the international shipping. Printful adds the international shipping charge on top. So if you select international, I’m being charged the extra $30, then an additional $18.99 for international shipping. But it will let me order the “US Only” version and then I just pay the international shipping charge on it.

Inco

Destin thank you

Made In Britain

I've been looking for a new desktop back ground and now I have one! Honestly such an incredible photo.

Alex White

This is awesome! I cannot wait to get mine!

Ric Marques

Just joined your Patreon and ordered this! I am SO envious that you accomplished this incredible feat! AND, I believe you’re one of only a handful that could have done this today! I totally love all of your content, and I’m looking forward to see what you deliver next!

smartereveryday
>>138810413

Hi Myles - the reason is that these metallic prints have a very high cost to ship internationally. Part of that cost is covered by the 18.99 (that's standard international for our shirts and other products) and the $30 is the extra for the expense of shipping this item. It might be better to print it locally using the file to avoid all the extra international costs. - Alyson SED Team

Myles
>>138810413

Ahh, that makes sense. Thank you for the explanation!

Joshua Obelenus

Thank you Destin! Can't wait to give the kiddo the metal print. She loves space and really enjoyed the eclipse.

Milhouz

Thanks Destin! Just decided to jump on and become a patron!

Daniel Turner

No! Thank you, Destin. Your YouTube channel is amazing and it is fantastic to see you continually championing the mantra of getting Smarter Every Day. All the best with completing your PhD dissertation.

Jon Wiesner

Destin, I’ve been a fan of yours for a long time, and a patron for several years. I can’t thank you enough for the work you do. Your enthusiasm is infectious. Keep up the great work!

Nick Hobson

Sticker - just the totality so you can stick to the round theme, you could also arc the sequence around the outside in a boarder.

Blair Cox

Been watching for years. Thank you! This was my first total eclipse I witnessed, and coincided with a major life event. I'm going to hang this on my wall of my new place.

Simon

the heart comment is why im now here

Eduardo Duran

I also really like the other photo you stitched of the previous eclipse. Any chance you would share that one too?

Anthony Castillo

I just wanted to drop in to say I joined the patreon just for this. I've been a viewer for a long time and love pretty much everything you all do. I missed the last eclipse, but refused to miss this one. I have a 5 year old niece who is really into the moon and space and I was able to take her (and the rest of our family) to Indianapolis to see totality at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The weather was beautiful that day and I wont ever forget the look on her face when the sun just went away. I've ordered the metal print to give to her and I hope she enjoys it for years to come thanks to your work.

smartereveryday
>>138859066

Thank you for being here! I hope to continue to earn your support. I’m glad you enjoy watching the videos as much as I enjoy making them!

Dean Gordon

How can I view the 2.99 gig TIF file on a windows 10 computer, I think I got it open, but when I open the 2.99 GIG TIF file it's just a black rectangle without the eclipse. Can someone please tell me what is going on here???

V.E. Griffith

Purchased the metal print. Excited to get it!

Anthony

This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I've stupidly never paid attention to the total solar eclipses, even when being in Denver Colorado in 2017. I regret not going to see the total eclipse and it wasn't until your recent videos about them that I realized I made a mistake. Now, to make up for that, I'm going to try to travel internationally in August 2026 to go see that total solar eclipse (I'm thinking Iceland or Spain). I'm in the middle of watching the 1 hour video with Dr. Telepun and both of your enthusiasm is just wonderful. Your passion truly shows in every video you make and you make it very clear it's okay to ask questions and say you don't understand. Thank you for all the videos you make! P.S. - I just love any and all interactions you have with Tory Bruno. When you two are on camera together it is always such a wonderful time. His passion and your passion are just truly infectious. Thank you again!

Nicolai Johansen

The video from the eclipse was amazing, and this is such a great photo! Cant wait to witness the next eclipse in person.

RANDALL KING

I feel like the hard part of down loading this photo (ironically over satellite internet 🤣) is going to be finding a print shop that can do the job😅

Martin

I became a member just to get this amazing photo. too bad I can't benefit so much from the rest in germany :( . Great work Destin! Best content ever

Jason Williamson

I drove my wife and kids 6 hours round trip to see the 2024 eclipse because of your passion for it. My wife is a photographer, but I told her that I wanted this event to be experienced in real time by all of us together. She obliged, and we got to have a great day of just being in the moment. However, because of that, we got little record of the day. This print is going on our wall as a reminder of that time together. Even though it isn't our photo, it was our eclipse. Thank you Destin! You're a good human.

Steven Gallion

Great membership perk. However, the WeTransfer link is just taking me to a general landing page with no indication of how to download the files. Any suggestions?

Joey

Your first video about the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse inspired me to get on a plane to Cleveland to see it since we live in Las Vegas and wouldn't be anywhere near totality. Me sharing your story about it and my own excitement inspired 2 coworkers as well as 2 of brothers to come along. It was such a memorable experience together and I'm so glad they came with. The excitement of the crowd and the tears in my eyes along with my brothers made it a core family event for us. Thank you so much for inspiring us to see it in person! This photo is amazing and watching your excitement about it brought all the emotions of that day flooding back.

Matt Gruenloh

I am new to being a Patreon supporter, but I am a long time YouTube subscriber. As a retired high school chemistry teacher, I absolutely love what you do. Your eclipse videos are a major reason why I took a quick trip to Burlington, Vermont (from northeast Pennsylvania) to see the total eclipse in April. As soon as I got the notice you were selling your eclipse photo, I bought the metal version. In fact, I didn't wait for the Patreon discount code. In reality, I don't mind having paid full price because I know you'll put the "profit" from my purchase to good use. Enjoy & keep getting Smarter Everyday!!

Benjamin Wenzel

Destin, Thank you for this, I just started to support on Patreon a couple months ago, I have been financially unable to do so until recently. I have been watching your videos for years and I love them. You are by far my favorite YouTube channel. Your passion for eclipses encouraged me to drive 5 hours to go see it in totality and it was a life changing event. Thank you so much for providing passion, joy, and interest in so many ways. Your genuine love for people and interest is something that I love about your videos. Thank you for being authentic to who you are. God Bless!

Brad Bayliss

Incredible video, and the sheer excitement is infectious, Destin. Purchased a metal print.

Jonathan Murray

I knew I was going to travel to see this eclipse since seeing my first total back in 2017. Glad to see others as excited as I was! Grabbed a poster and a metallic print, downloaded the image so I can reproduce the version you had printed in the video, too! Now to start working on the logistics to be in Egypt in 2027...

Jonathan Murray

LOL! Ordered prints excitedly before watching the video above or even reading the whole post. Didn't use the promo code, now just hoping SED actually gets the 20%!

Norman Rasmussen
>>138884916

Also you can select individual files to download, but the only way I found to do that was to accept the full download first, immediately cancel it, and then the files show up on the right for individual download.

Paul Lemke

Is there a plan to release a horizontal version? I loved the one that was in the youtube video!

Ben Trammell

Just ordered it. After I get it I will decide if I have space for the international space station one next to it. Hope the code will still work then.

Andrew Ferguson

This is awesome and begging to be adapted for use on a dual-wide screen monitor (or single ultra widescreen [32:9]). Since the license you provided doesn't allow us to adapt, change, or modify the image or any portion thereof, would you be willing to either: 1) make a version suitable for using as a background wallpaper, or 2) amend the license to allow adapting, changing, and modifying?

Marten

Destin your a treasure on the web :) Secret safe

Anthony
>>138903467

He said you could make it by just cropping it with the images he gives you and printing it yourself. If he said that, I imagine he won't be selling it. However, I could be totally wrong

Jason Williams

Destin, my heart is full with gratitude that you've been able to do this. Thanks so much, you are amazing.

Insidehardware

Definitely loved that you tied in 3-4-5 previous video topics into one. Prepping for eclipse, photo printing and digitizing, old camera restorations, satellites... Very fun. I foresee a sticker in the making =)

Matt Goette

Hey Destin! Long time viewer; first time Patron (for anyone/anything). I'm really excited to jump on the Patreon train, and couldn't think of a better creator to support. Keep up the excellent work!

Ian Crawford

So.. this photo is gonna be the next Patreon sticker... right??

Aleksej Vlasov

Hey! Destin keeps mentioning that there will be a "Printful link". all I see is a link to download the files. Am I missing it somewhere? I really want that metal print...

Rok
>>139041084

It's nearly the top line of the post ("PRINTS:"), with the discount code underneath

Aleksej Vlasov
>>139041084

Ah, thank you! I thought it would be a link to Printful, but instead it's a link to Smarter Every Day store :)

Tony Irelan

Absolutely I almost teared up I am in Indiana and work at Eli Lilly Pharmaceutical and they let everyone pause work and gave us all eclipse glasses and got to experience it. It was amazing. I was showing everyone how to put the glasses over their phones and adjust and lock exposure tonget good shots. Thank you! You are an amazing Human and I love you for that!

Chad Kirkessner

Got my poster prints today, they are AWESOME. That paper is really nice. Anyone have ideas for matting and framing? Colors, size, ect

Matt N.
>>138903467

The license indicates, "You may crop and rotate the image to print as desired." Eventually I would like to get the horizontal alignment printed on a wide panoramic canvas. For now I'm very pleased with the metal printed version that just arrived!

Erik aka ExNought

Thank you for providing us with this image! I got some very strange looks from my partner when I teared up multiple times during your video on the eclipse. To be honest, I can not fully explain why, it just is so wholesome.

Patrick Richard Bergsma

Thank you so much for providing the RAW and the print shop option! We are glad that we can support your endeavours! Keep up the great work!

The Morton Fam

Very generous of you to share such a gift. Thank you! :)

Jon Georg

Thank you so much for this. The video was wonderful. Would it be possible to get a copy of the horizontally cropped image?

Rtkwe

Could you refresh the wetransfer link it's not working for me on Chrome and pops up a tiny message about being expired. edit: Got it now it's so cool.

Pat

This was the best post eclipse video i have seen. And you are a real gem for sharing these files with us. We were in Buffalo at the time, and while we stumbled upon a great Jamaican restaurant, that had rented a huge 12 ft screen for us to watch live NASA coverage during all the totality views, we had about 90-95% cloud cover. We were able to see through the clouds up until the diamond ring, then 'nothing' not even after totality. It was still a memorable experience!

Pat

The 3gb file is not opening, I am getting errors, even with Paint.Net. Is anyone else having this issue?

Jim Williams

Hi Destin, we really appreciate your videos! We normally live overseas, but are back in Alabama (not far from where I believe you live) for a little while longer. I would really appreciate it if we could get together for a few minutes to chat with my two youngest kids who are still living at home with us. Feel free to contact me using the email address associated with my Patreon account.

László Tánczos

Hi Destin, thank you for the amazing photo! Can you make it somehow so I can order one? I live in Hungary and there is no option for delivery at the International one.

Dave Elliott

Destin, thank you. Witnessing your and others' true joy is genuinely moving. I was able to take my six-year-old son to see the eclipse in totality, and it was a moment in time he and I will share together forever. Thank you for sharing your joy with us and for the opportunity to partake in it with you.

Daryl

Could you make fridge magnets? I’d buy a few 2017s for me and my friends that watched live. Had to view the last one from Florida unfortunately but drove to SC for 2017 totality 😊

Jonathan Murray

Follow-up: The paper copy spent nearly two weeks laying under books and ended up nearly flat - flat enough to frame and now hang in my office, so crisis averted! Metal version was packaged very nicely and is beautiful. Thanks! Received my paper print today - wrapped in tissue paper, rolled up tightly (~1") and dropped loosely into a 5" triangular box. So, my question is, if the box is that big, why in the world would they roll the picture up so tightly? Currently laid out flat with tissue paper and books on it hoping to render it flat so I can frame it... sure hope the metal version is packaged more appropriately. This was a bit disappointing.

Hey Destin, after being a YouTube lurker for some time your eclipse series finally convinced me it was time to put my money where my eyes are. You and Dr. Telepun convinced me to travel to Arkansas for the eclipse and it absolutely blew my mind! It was also a great family outing. Thanks for making such quality, meaningful content!

Destin, I so appreciate this! I took my High School class to view the Solar Eclipse and we watched the video you made with Dr. Telepun in preparation for all of the things we could observe during the eclipse. Sadly we were in the Finger Lakes of New York and the sky was completely overcast. I'm going to show them your video of photographing the eclipse and then mount this metallic print (which I just ordered) on the wall. Thanks for making this excellent series of videos and helping my students think about the world more intentionally.

Got my metallic print today and it is awesome! The hanging method took a minute but it has a neat feature: I kept the eclipse glasses I used in 2024 and 2017 and they fit great inside the back!

Is there a place where patrons can share derivatives of the photograph so it doesn't leak out to public? I could share mine.

Became a patreon just for this. Guess I will wait for a video to drop before canceling. Awesome picture and it will make an amazing desktop background on the computer!

Thank you for this awesome photo. I just ordered my metallic version. One question is is there a way to make this bigger. I mean a size of 2 foot by 3 foot to make as an accent piece on a wall. My grandson loves space and this would look great blown up. He is getting the metallic one on his wall even if it can’t be blown up. You are awesome and I’m proud to support everything you do.

A collective thank YOU Destin for consistently giving back to your community.

Hi! Unfortunately our store site is down right now due to a squarespace issue. We are working with their team to get it resolved. Hopefully it will all be back up shorty. - Alyson

Just wanted to order one of the eclipse prints (international) only to discover that they're sold out :( Will there be a restock or am I just too late and my life makes no sense any more?

Jack H Levy

Hey Destin, was hoping this catches your eye. I just opened the package now that tink ow where I'm hanging it and noticed that it was scratched, basically a straight line about 4 or five inches. I was wondering if I could get a replacement? If not, NBD, it's only noticable in a certain light or if your touching this fingerprint magnet.

Juraj Zahumensky

is it possible to get more information on camera settings?

I don't see a post here on Discord about the baseball cannon, so posting to the latest - just got my Smarter Every Day / Rocket City Trash Pandas baseball, love it! (I'm a fan of "fun baseball teams" like the Trash Pandas, Savannah Bananas, Portland Pickles, etc.)

Evan Funnell

Any updates on the metal print possibly coming back into stock for international orders?

Jason Baldwin

I tried to download the raw file but it says it is no longer available. I know I'm a little late to the party but is there another way to get that file?

Michael Egberts & Catherine Kierans

I would love to get a copy of the RAW file too... Thanks for an awesome video and fingers crossed the metal print and/or the RAW image will be avialable soon!

This video was amazing. I love viewing eclipses and your photo is mesmerizing to say the least. I thank you for allowing us to be able to print a copy for ourselves. I can't wait to have the Raw version printed and framed. A beautiful story to accompany such a masterful creation. I will ensure all onlookers of your photo get a chance to watch your video. Because i love your channel, i am becoming smartereveryday :D
