Slockie and I would very much like to know: which character(s) did you most enjoy interacting with in this chapter? You can choose multiple, though we're leaving off a few that you don't have any extended conversations with (so you Darlene fans are going to have to chill).

Love and enjoy them all, so that's what I went with (all of them), but I found Corol and Mika to be super adorable. And I enjoy all the ladies's company (no matter how little; even Miranda's accident was a cute scene). 😁

this is the same for me. I fear it will be hard to choose, the same as I had with Bare Witness, which still is in my top 3 VN and all the girls are in my top 10 of al time.

Really wanted to put Maddie as a vote, but we don't get more than a few renders with her. Hoping she's more prominent in the upcoming chapters.

I went the top 4, Papa, Coral, Nikki, and Patricia. Patricia was a surprise for me, because generally i dont find darker skinned characters that attractive in AVNs, but i find her to be the most attractive one in any AVNs ive played. Coral is super adorable, and Nikki is a knockout. Papa seems like a fun character to interact with as well

This is a hard choice, but I guess Aurora/Pink really caught my eye and I was intrigued by how the other girls excluded her a little and that she felt a bit sad about it. It will be nice to see what role the MC will play in that. I hope she will get more screen time in future episodes! :)

And thankfully BW had the MASH ending, so we didn't get to choose between them😁. I'm sure I read a post that says HD is not going to do a multi-girl polyamorous ending. But I'm not 100% sure yet.

I'm surprised MC didn't invite her, but I guess it's not his place or say. There's definitely a divide at the club. I hope MC brings everyone closer 🤗.

Honestly enjoyed the whole thing. Can't wait to see the next part. Would not be upset to to see a similar balance of character interactions continue. Fun start to the new story.

The Darlene stuff is meant more as a bit of humour though considering I liked what RJ did with Connie in Come Home, I am alright with the MC exploring her as addition.

This is different from almost any other visual novel I have played. The depth you have reached to develop the characters is amazing. The erotic aspect is a complete afterthought for me. The whole thing is worth it just for the conversations with Charlie. Well done.

Good to see you here, Jonathan. I picked up Bare Witness few weeks ago, so gave this a chance too. So far, I would say Nikki, Aurora, and Mika. Especially Mika because not too many AVNs I have played craft Asian ladies with such beauty and grace. The memorable Asians I have seen were Ellen and Katie in City of Broken Dreamers and Chloe in FW. Actually...I think Mika is the most accurately depicted Asian beauty yet in this genre. 🥰😍 Eyes and everything are authentically Asian, no mixed race in her.

I know Heaven's Door is just starting and will take time, but I am pretty hyped, especially looking forward to more Mika. 😄 The story might end tragically like A Walk to Remember. Yeah yeah...I am a guy and I saw that Mandy Moore/Shane West chick flick movie. 🙄🤣🤣

Thanks. Yeah, me too. I'm looking forward to all of the ladies 🥰. Nothing wrong with that. I watch chick flicks too. You're allowed to watch whatever you want (I watched Bollywood rom-coms, K-drama, TW-drama, and HK films growing up). Yeah, it looks like it's going to be that way. But I'm sure MC is going to make the most of it. I AM surprised more AVNs don't touch on the subject, though. I've been waiting for a game like this 😁.

Lol, Jonathan, beats another "college life" storyline. Cough: CK; Cough: Being A DIK. Those are good but nice for a dev to jump outside the box. I never got into K-dramas, but watched plenty of TW and HK stuff during youth. Of course, we know the Third Act Trope there. Once the leads fall in love, terminal illness follow. 🙄🙄 Though this could pull a Race of Life and the Dev can cook up some sci-fi cancer cure and have the MC live happily ever after with his harem. 😄😄 The way Kalani was going to cure Lily sounded like next-gen sci fi to me. 😄

True... that's what drew me to UGS, AlterWorld, and many of the Devs I support now. I got tired of playing as the young MC in a school setting AVN, even though some of my favorite AVNs are in a school setting (BAD, SG, Intertwined). So I went and posted a recommendation post on Reddit looking for more older/mature MCs, and in a non-school setting world. Received lots of recommendations. Speaking of BAD (new EP coming soon 😋!) Good luck, brother! That's going to take a lot of time and much replaying to get through all the possible paths. I mean, he already has it now. He has two years at most. I am fascinated to see how Storm and Slock are going to pull this off. I think MC's going to change up the place for the better, make it more successful, fall in love, have a baby with "said" LIs, and then goes when it's time. Becoming a beloved legend to the establishment and leaving behind a legacy in the process. But I would love a miracle happy ending. Lol, when I was listening to Lani explain things. I was just like, "Wow! Everything sounds so advanced and unorthodox. But, shoo... you're the doctor and my only hope. So F-it, let's do it 😅!"

Your idea for how the MC in HD would leave a legacy and be remembered by the club, similar to how any place (school, business, museum) would remember its benefactor is a great idea. That would be the perfect way to go, so I hope maybe Storm and Slock adopt some of your ideas. As for pulling off the miracle cure, maybe programed nano machines? Since the tumor is at a place that cannot be operated by anything, even a small surgical knife or cyberknife radiation, then machines. Machines that are literally the size of viruses can go into the brain, be programmed to take apart or destroy the tumor, while being small enough not to harm the surrounding tissue, nerves, etc. I read this from sci-fi novels. 🤣🤣 Have not started BAD or CK yet. Too many AVNs in my playlist, not to mention I am still making my way through Cyberpunk 77. 😂 Really amazing, playing that while City of Broken Dreamers at same time, cause its the same type of setting. 😄 I will never give up mainstream games too. I just wish AVN and AAAs can combine, that'd awesome. I know, never will happen, an adult only PS5 would never happen because kids cannot buy it, and no AAA dev would invest 100-200 mil on a game only adults can buy.

Jonathan: I started BW (now at chap 3) and wow these Devs are great writers. The story is never dull, the pacing is great, the adult scenes never seem forced or there just because its been ________ hours since we had one, and the LIs are interesting. One part that I am not sure is Valeria discovering the MC's real name. I read an article about the real U.S. Marshals Witsec program, and in its history, everyone that has stayed in (never went back to their old lives) have remained alive. This was accurate up to 15 years ago. So if she can discover, then the mobsters......whatever just a game. Mora has me thinking...why in most college life AVNs the LIs have hot cars while the MCs cannot even drive. (FW, SG, Chasing Sunsets, etc). At least ROL has Jake, who can drive and 🏎️🏎️🏎️.

@Wei Liu Niccce 👍🏻! Nice to see you're enjoying the game! This game is one of my favorites (I especially love the "Endings"). I can't wait to see which girl/ending is your favorite (we'll discuss more after you finish the game). She said MC gave himself away. She did a background check and connected some dots BECAUSE MC WAS HORRIBLE in his accent and his story. I guess the mobster didn't think about that? I wouldn't question it too much. Alex (CS) does drive. He drove that hippie van and motorcycles during Jaye's date. I guess it's an attraction thing? I mean, who doesn't love an LI with hot cars 😛! Psst... Btw, Ricardos has found me here as well 😁. Won't be long before he finds this chat 😂.
