Hey everyone,

We have some important upcoming changes to the Gold Pieces loyalty reward program on our website.

As of March 1st we'll be changing how GP is redeemed on our website. Currently, if you're subscribed and get our 50% discount, you would need 300GP to purchase a $6 item. However, this will be changed so that GP is redeemed at the full cost of the purchase (600GP to purchase a $6 item) instead. Any remaining amounts after the GP redemption will still be discounted at the usual rate.To counter this change, we will also be increasing the monthly GP Loyalty to 600 ($6) per month, which will still allow subscribers to redeem a free miniature every month.

This image highlights how it will work in future, with the discount coming off the remaining price, rather than the GP paying for the discounted price.

If you're not subscribed on our website and want to take advantage of the GP system, you can migrate your subscription by following the steps in this post (also works for Tribes, just use MMF account instead of Patreon).

This new system will take effect as of March 1st, 12AM PST. So you have until then to spend any GP you have on our website with the old system. If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment.

Does this change effect sales prices as well? For example during your black Friday sale? Will the good pieces come off the sale price or the full price?

DM Stash

Not entirely sure what you mean? Our sale prices will remain at 50% for the standard sale and 60-70% for our special sales. It's just that the discount will take effect after GP has been applied, whereas right now it takes effect before.

You answered my question. I was looking to see when the GP would be applied during your special sales or if the change only affected the subscription discount.

LDan

I usually use my GP to get discounts on entire campaigns, not a fan of this change.

DM Stash

You can still use the GP for that :)

LDan

but its value will decrease :(
