Hi everyone,

Some of you may already be aware that on November 1st Patreon is forcing all creators to switch to subscription billing, where subscribers are charged the date they subscribe and then exactly a month apart after that. While this is fine for most kinds of content, with our monthly drops it doesn't really work as it results in some people waiting almost a full month to get their next month's release, if they were to sub at the end of the month for example.

We are thus closing new subscriptions on Patreon from November 1st. Existing subscribers can retain their subscription and will still have their goods delivered via Patreon, but if you unsubscribe and wish to resubscribe, you'll need to do so either on MyMiniFactory, or our website.

You can migrate your subscription to our website by following the steps listed here.

If you have any questions about this process, or other feedback you'd like to give, please leave a comment here. Thanks for your understanding!

This really effects 3d artists the most. I'm seeing a lot of artists and studios shutting down patreon subs because of this. Maybe they'll reconsider once they lose a lot of flow as people start to migrate

So just to be clear, those of us that already had memberships won’t need to do anything?

So sorry I am late to the conversation, so I have to join you on this site instead of the normal way I have been doing service with you?

DM Stash

Exactly. If you have an existing sub, you can stay on Patreon and nothing changes. The only real change you'll face is if you cancel to skip a month or something, you'll need to resub on MMF or our website instead.

DM Stash

If you're already a Patreon subscriber nothing changes. You can retain your subscription here, we just aren't taking new ones. So if you cancel and want to resubscribe again, it will have to be done on MyMiniFactory or our website :)

Yes it was very frustrating especially as they had stated last year they wouldn't be making the change, but apparently it has something to do with Apple and their store fees mandating it. Wish we could instead opt out of Apple subscribers to circumvent it intsead.

Prince Goodgame

As a non-apple user, apple needs to stop 😂

Sir if I have a subscription on the DMstash.com website, I will need to transfer everything over to the Patreon site?

DM Stash

If you're already subscribed on dmstash.com you don't need to do anything. This post is only referring to Patreon no longer taking new subscriptions
