He ventured alone deep into the dense forest, a hunting rifle in hand, his sharp eyes scanning for prey. Along the woodland path, squirrels, birds, and rabbits occasionally darted past. He raised his gun and aimed again and again, yet every shot missed. Bullets scraped past tree trunks, startling the tiny creatures into fleeing in every direction. Frustrated, he chased after them relentlessly, his steps growing hurried and his breathing ragged. Suddenly, small animals leapt at him from all sides, ambushing him when his guard was down. The rifle was knocked from his hands and sent flying to the ground. Piece by piece, his clothes were tugged away in the chaos. Tiny paws and little mouths pulled harshly at his long hair. Through the sting of pain, he tried to resist, only to realize he had already been stripped bare and left lying naked upon the soft grass.

The little creatures did not stop. Carrying all kinds of items gathered from who-knows-where, they swarmed toward him excitedly. One squirrel dragged over a delicate pink bra and panties, while another bird carried an elegant corset and swiftly wrapped it around his waist. Their movements were playful yet surprisingly skillful, tightening the corset until it shaped a slender figure. Next came pale green knee-high stockings, carefully pulled over his long legs, each cuff tied with adorable ribbons. Layers upon layers of white lace skirts were shaken open before being draped lightly over him. The dress was decorated with intricate trims, embroidered roses, and tiny daisies, while its soft green hem fluttered like forest moss in the wind. Brown knee-high heeled boots were pushed to his feet, and the animals worked together to help him slip them on. The bows and delicate laces of the boots made him appear graceful and tall when he finally stood.

They had not forgotten his upper half. A vintage-style white lace blouse was paired with a brown vest, and a satin ribbon adorned with cherry decorations rested at his chest. Soft lace frills covered the shoulders and cuffs. One small bird brought hair dye and quickly transformed his hair into a dreamy aqua green. The long strands cascaded smoothly down to his waist, fading into a gentle pinkish-brown gradient at the ends. They crowned him with flowers as well—a wreath woven from pink roses, tiny white blossoms, and green leaves, with a delicate pair of deer antlers decorating the center, making him look both whimsical and dreamlike. A thin white veil rested softly along his hairline, adding an air of mystery like a forest spirit.

The cosmetics came next. With soft paws, the little animals carefully brushed makeup onto his face. Fresh green eyeshadow shaded his eyelids, his eyes brightened into vivid golden-green, his lashes curled elegantly, and his lips were painted a natural cherry pink. A faint blush bloomed across his cheeks. One squirrel proudly presented a basket filled with fresh cherries and berries, wrapped in vines and lace, which he instinctively carried in the crook of his arm. More accessories were added one by one: leafy bracelets around his wrists, a cherry necklace at his throat, and a floral belt around his waist. Everything matched perfectly.

When it was finally complete, he stood upon a floating meadow deep within the forest. Around him drifted moss-covered islands, mushroom clusters, tree stumps, and lush greenery. An ancient tree nearby held a bird's nest filled with colorful eggs, while white birds fluttered and chirped among the branches. Two adorable brown squirrels lingered close by—one sat atop a floating island nibbling an apple, while the other crouched beside his feet, gazing up at him with sparkling eyes. He looked down at himself: aqua-green hair shimmering softly in the light, flower crown and antlers swaying gently atop his head, lace skirts dancing in the breeze to reveal the elegant lines of his green stockings and heeled boots. The cherries in his basket carried a sweet fragrance. His shock and resistance slowly faded away. Watching the busy yet gentle little animals around him, a soft smile gradually appeared on his lips. He thought they were adorable, warm, and kind.

From that day onward, she never again entered the forest carrying a rifle. Every morning, she carefully dressed herself in the image of this forest maiden—aqua-green hair adorned with flowers and antlers, layered dresses overflowing with lace and ruffles, high-heeled boots whispering softly against the grass, and a basket filled with fresh fruit, nuts, and tiny gifts. She wandered peacefully along the woodland trails, greeting every small creature she encountered with a sweet and gentle voice. Squirrels would leap onto her shoulders, birds perched upon her antlers, and little rabbits followed close behind her. She shared gifts with them and played together beneath the dappled sunlight of the forest, experiencing a sense of peace and joy she had never known before. Even the forest itself seemed to respond to her transformation. The sunlight grew warmer, the streams clearer, and beneath her delicate makeup, her face always carried a sincere and radiant smile.
