A cookbook filled with delicious custom recipes for the Sims 4!

This Cookbook can be renamed, so feel free to give it a new name!

There are currently 7 menus:

  • Breakfast

  • Meals

  • Desserts

  • Drinks

  • Baking *requires Get to Work

  • Pets  *requires Cats and Dogs

  • Canning* requires Cottage Living

All of my menus include both Gourmet & Homestyle recipes combined. If a recipe is not showing up, your Sim may not a high enough level of the have the requisite skill.

Installation:

  • Download the latest .package file into your mods folder

  • Download *separately* whichever custom recipes you would like to have in your game (these have all been posted here: https://www.patreon.com/Tianasims)

*Only have one version installed in your game at a time*

In Game:
Where to find?

In game, the Cookbook can be found in the Small Appliances section in Buy Mode, or you can search for "TianaSims Cookbook".

There are 12 swatches, so far...

How to use?

Click on the book and select "Recipes" from the pie menu. Choose a Menu, e.g. "Desserts", and select a food to cook! Voila!

Other fun details:

This Cookbook can be: renamed, gifted to a lucky recipient sim, placed on most surfaces.

Hi :) I wanted to thank you SO much for all your hard work on these incredible foods! If not a bother, do you happen to know if your food mods are compatible with Brazenlotus food recipes? Hi! No bother at all! Brazen Lotus' mods are a fair bit more complex than mine and I understand she makes lots of changes and updates to them regularly. There's more scope for incompatibility with mods like that, and a few players have reported issues with her mods on their own. but I've certainly played with both in my game at one point or another and never had any issues. This seems to be the general case with most users I've spoken to also, so I think you're good to go! My recipes are just clones of base game recipes so don't typically clash with any other mods (including food mods).

Hi! Yes please download the Cookbook (and always check back for updates as it is updated regularly), and then download any recipes you want separately. Place all the files in your mods folder 😊

I couldn't find, but are there any other food mods this isn't compatible with? I have Amellce, Srsly, S&S, Balka, Pied Piper, and anytime I go to play my game it keeps crashing and will not let me use your stuff

Hi Gabrielle! The best way of testing out incompatibility is to test mods in isolation (even though it’s a pain). As far as I know, my mod is compatible with other food mods, although I haven’t played with the ones you’ve mentioned. I tend to play maxis match 😊

hello i would like to advised doing a 50:50 with recipes first cause i have all the mods you mentioned but im not getting the same issue. you can also check if any of the mods you have might need some updates or could be duplicated hence the crash advised using mccc mod for this as they can show you if any of your scripts are duplicated.

I love this mod, but I'm finding some conflicts in my Mod Manager: Nettle Wine Single and Nettle Wine Multi seem to not get along. Do I choose one or the other or keep both? TIA!

Hey girl how are you? Well i just came to tell you that the tres leches cake keeps crashing on me like you can cook it and stuff but when u put it on the counter you cant see it idk if u can fix this please ^^

Something stange, the category canning don't appear in the cookbook, while I have canning recipes and the EP cottage living.

Hi soo i have downloaded many of thee newer recipes and they say they need the latest update of the cookbook which I have the 1-08-24 download, however none of the newer recipes are showing up? is there a newer update or is something else wrong?

Hi! As long as you have the most recent update of the cookbook, and you have put the recipe file you'd like into your mods folder, the recipes should show up! Please check first that your Sim has the required level of the skill needed (Gourmet, Homestyle, Baking etc.)

huh, maybe there’s something wrong with my computer just cause they’re in my mods folder and my sims cooking level is maxed 10 so i don’t know why they wouldn’t show up in the book. but thank you for replying!

Hi. just wanted report a bug I ran into with the Tres leches cake. When my sim is finished cooking the cake it turns invisible. I can only see the sparkles from the cake being great quality but otherwise I can't see the cake nor is there a way to interact with it, my sim takes a slice autonomously (slices shows up) then the cake is just gone.

Hi! I hope all is well with you! :) I'm also having a problem, I'm not sure if it's conflicting with something else in my mods folder, but my save files get an endless loading screen when I have this mod in my game. I have already checked every other mod and it works fine until I add this to my game sadly :(

Hi Ilse! My recipes are compatible with other creators, however I just use EA ingredients or my own custom ingredients in my recipes :)

Hi Silvia! Please double check that you have the latest cookbook (and that you don't have any older versions buried away in there). That is often the reason for this issue :)

I just want to say that you are so kind and talented and gracious. Your mods are my favorite cooking mods and all of my SIMS have to have your cookbook. My face lit up when I saw these new additions. So yeah, I'm a become a member, I support this kind of carrying on, lol!
