Part 2 of the Weathering Masterclass series! This video will focus on:

* How to create a saturated green for your Deathguard (great for Sons of Horus and indeed any green vehicles).

*  The beauty of happy accidents.

* How to use oils to create stain effects, modulate hue and shade your model.

* How to create realistic, worn metallics.

* To to create and apply a pin wash.

* How to create and apply and oil stain.

No matter the legion, no matter the model range, these skills can be used across a wide spectrum of modeling projects. Post any questions below and I'll round them up for a post series Q&A. The more questions I get the better the video! And please don't worry if you think the question is too basic: we're all here to learn. Get the most out of the Patreon by asking!

Thank you Myles! This video is so inspiring & helpful

When you applied the decal did you paint some gloss varnish under that area? Curious how that worked since you didn't use any gloss for the oil. I have always though you had to have some a gloss surface to apply decals but perhaps that is an extra step I can skip in the future.

Daniel Willuweit

It depends how you apply your decals. If you use something like a decal softener you need a varnish layer for protection. If you only use water you dont need to varnish.

Hi Myles, this is off topic, but I wanted to know what airbrush and compressor you were using now?
