Meet your new instructor.

Multi-award-winning artist.

Forge World studio painter.

Internationally renowned teacher.

Welcome your new instructor. Mathew Kane.

Someone who was at the genesis of the Horus Heresy, an artist that developed the visual language of this universe we love.

He painted the original legion schemes, pioneering the use of oils, weathering, and airbrushing alongside the forge world studio staff to create this wonderful grim dark style,

He’s taught in America, Australia, Sweden, and the UK, launching the careers of some of the industry's best-beloved painters. His style, teaching manner, and love for the hobby have enthused a generation.

Matthew has partnered with Lil’Legend studio to create custom miniature painting PDF tutorials, delivering one to one online teaching, and sharing his love of the hobby in partnership with Lil’Legend.

Every month you will receive an exclusive pdf tutorial of Matthew’s work, gaining insight into his working methodology, colour choice, and application.
