Hey all,

The last poll got me thinking: what sort of unusual lycanthropes should we add to the next book? I've already covered werejaguars and dread swine (coming out tomorrow). And the 5e book covers werewolves, werebears, wereboars, wererats, and weretigers, as well as reverse lycanthropes like jackalweres.

But what other shapechangers do we need?

Give me some ideas below. I'll add them to the list of monsters to make this month.

What about some weres that would have less difficulty flying under the radar in a city or town? Werechickens, werehorses, maybe even wererabbits?

I love the idea of werespiders & insects. Aquatic choices too!

A wereminotaur maybe? Would be nice to get into a moonlit maze, with vegatation and forest like scenary decoring the maze walls... and then suddenly you have a huge bull-wolf thing with horns running at you at 4 legs with the speed of a mclaren

Robert Huss

Weresnakes - venomous, constricting, etc.

Well, I feel my flippant comment about werepigeons might have prompted this. If so, my work is done here. If not, I would also suggest werefowl (think Canadian Geese more than chickens/ducks), wereturtles, weredinosaurs (raptors, T. Rex, all of 'em), and the startlingly horrible werebunnies.

Weresloth, Werebeaver, Weregoat, Weregator, Wrerhino, Werekangoo, Werepossum And of course... WEREPLATYPUS!

How nobody has said Capybara yet it's beyond me. Imagine the sheer non-plussed look on their face before they rip you to shreds.
