Hey folks!

Quick question from you all:

Do you all prefer Dungeons & Lairs style adventures, or would you prefer that I create other types of adventures?

Dungeons & Lairs are drop-in adventures centered around a specific creature, theme, or location.

As opposed to these, I can create event-based adventures (like the one I just did a poll for), or adventures that are part of a longer campaign.

Let me know below. You've got a few options. Whatever wins, I'm going to stick with it for a bit to stay focused.

Thanks!

I voted for the first option, but my real vote would be "Whatever you wanna do, Dave, as long as it includes a condensed version that's easily usable for our own campaigns"

Having consumed all level appropriate and setting appropriate content for my players with d&l, I'd love more and voted for that - but you need to do what you enjoy and do you - without it you will lose your spark to do anything

Let me put it to you this way: every time I’m just about to get to something causing a stumbling block of how I’m going to do a particular part of my make up as you go campaign you end up putting out a dungeon and lair that seems to just land perfectly in what I need to do so I’m all for the first one, but I agree with the comments above that you go and do whatever you want

Steve Skirata

5e compatible campaigns would be my choice.

You know me Dave, I’m fine with whatever, but D&L is rad, for your consideration, do another one like Darkmantle Space Freighter but with a deep sea base and monsters, think the Meg/Underwater/Leviathan

D&L has been an excellent format for integrating things into my game. I usually want a theme and boss pair that work well together. My role is primarily finding something that fits into the overall campaign. For example, I used the Mummy's Pyramid adventure because a friendly necromancer needed a canopic jar from his old mentor (who turned out to be the Mummy Lord). My only issue is that as my PCs get higher level (currently 16), it becomes harder to find adventures that work since many of the monsters (reasonably) don't make good bosses for them, and those tend to be the highest levels your D&Ls scale for.

I like adding to event themed ones into the mix. The greatest thing about the shorter adventures is being able to adapt them into your campaign/world. To me it gets tougher the longer they are.

Dave, I'm still waiting on more Horror scenarios lol! What happened to The Gas Station?

More dungeons and subclasses!

I went with whatever you want. I do enjoy the dungeon of the week but you've done that for so long that I can see how it would get old. You seemed happy with testing out some new things so have fun and be creative how you want man.

If the Witchfinder’s Grimoire is anything to go by, do whatever you want want, that is dope mate! Who are we to stifle that imagination? (but more horror would be great too ;)
