Belated dev news! (Patreon)

All characters depicted in this and all my other works are 18 years of age or older.Hello there everyone!Apologies for the late af dev news post. I really wanted my next post to be a release post, and putting out a dev news post right before an update just feels wrong. I mean, just release the update at that point. But every time, something new came up, so it just got pushed and pushed. So yeah, I should have just posted some dev news. Most of the time I also just forget. Either I’m juggling too many things at the same time or I’m tunnel visioned in development. Both are my bad, so again, I’m sorry.Anyways, let’s get on to the dev news. I’m finally happy with how this update plays out. There were some technical issues, mainly with animations not working properly when downloading the update. These have been fixed... I think. I tested it on a couple of devices and it seems to be working, but this might differ from device to device, so we will have to see. There were also some glaring inconsistencies which I had to go back and fix, mostly clothing not matching up. There were quite a few. Right now there are a few comics missing though, because for whatever reason I forgot to make them. I’m going to need a system to accurately keep track of which comics are created, but that’s on the to-do list for after the update. Most of these comics are Zaria though, and since she is hands down my most annoying character and requires quite a bit of hands-on fixing, she also takes the most time. There might be signs that Zaria is on my mind lately. Subtle signs...The TLDR of it is: still working on it.Also, work has been keeping me quite busy the last couple of weeks. I won’t bore you all with the boring stuff, but there were many presentations and I got (temporarily) transferred to a new office.🥳I’m getting a small hardware upgrade today though, which hopefully helps with output. Not sure if it will do anything, but fingers crossed.One last thing to add: this is the biggest update by far, and nothing released before even compares. It is so big, in fact, that I have no idea how to fit all of this into the next free version. Even with higher compression it is going to be cutting it close. I really need to start setting limits on updates, but since this is an important event for the story going forward, until the end and even afterward, I think it deserves the extra love.I understand the frustration. Everyone is hungry while I’m still cooking. I just hope the meal will be good enough when it’s finally ready. 🤗
