Hello clan! I've been thinking about something for a while and I need your vote, the doubt is the following:

When I paint a miniature it usually has bigger and more interesting parts and other smaller parts that may be less interesting, my question is, do you prefer me to keep making videos of all the parts even if the series of videos of the same figure gets longer, or do you prefer me to focus on the bigger and more interesting parts?

Hola clan!

Matthew

If there is a part of the video which I already know how to do, I can skip it. If there is a part of the mini which I don't know how to paint but isn't in the video, then I am sad as my brain is too small to figure it out. For this, I prefer the current method. However, in the future you could always say 'I use the same technique as I did in my ____ video' and then show a photo for reference. Similar to how once I watch the video on glazing, I know what the different glaze types are without you explaining it every video.

SombraEnMovimiento

Luigi

Hi Josè and clan, From my point of view, I think that having an overview is very helpful, and sometimes refocusing on the technique is a great help. Can you add more videos where you teach how to use inks, dilute acrylics, and new techniques that are popping up in our hobby world? Thanks for your great job :)

Michał Zwolak

This would be amazing! I struggled with some projects and after seeing that YT video focusing on glazing, it finally „clicked”. I don’t have an easy access to workshops and live tutelage, so vids are my primary source of learning. Inks, dilution, seeing how to properly paint TMM - I’d love some focus on that!

PaintedByTainted

Hola Maestro, Long and detailed is better. I can always skip what I know. But usually we just watch everything. I watch what I don’t know to learn something new, and watch what I do know to reaffirm the knowledge. It would be nice to have a mini series or small section labeled “techniques” or something as a reference guide as well. “Guide to glazing.” “Guide to edge highlighting” “Guide to etc etc” And please. MORE SPACE MARINES! 😂

Felix Ruggiero

Jake McKee

What seems "small" or unimportant to some are hugely helpful to folks who have less experience (like me). I LOVE when creators show us the FULL process!

John Sheffield

I’m never bothered by wanting to scrub forward past something I know how to do, but I think I would get frustrated if something I wanted to see was left out. On the other hand, I bet it’s a lot less work for you to only film and edit the major, unskippable points. I don’t know! I’m voting for highlights because maybe that means more videos of many different things but can see it both ways.

Karl Volz

For me as hobby artist - the complete process is necessary for understanding and learning.

Luigi

More kill team and Bloodbowl 😂😂😂🫶🏻

Josedavinci

Thanks a lot for the advice, I think I will do something similar for the next videos I record. 🤗🤗

Josedavinci

Josedavinci

Hi Luigi, thank you very much for your comment and your support. Yes, you have asked me a lot for videos of techniques, next week I'm going to record some videos of that style to be able to intersperse them with the process videos.💪💪

Josedavinci

Hello, how are you? Yes, next week I'm going to record a few videos purely of techniques to increase the section we have of techniques and thus be interspersed with the videos of processes. 🤗🤗

Josedavinci

Josedavinci

Hi Jake! How are you? Thank you very much, I'm glad to hear that you like the full posts and I'll keep doing it that way. 💪

Josedavinci

Hello John, how are you? What I will do will be to include those small parts in longer videos, for me there is no problem to record everything, knowing that you are interested I will continue doing it this way. 🙌

Josedavinci

Hi Karl, thank you very much for your comment! I will continue to make them complete 🙌🙌

Felix Ruggiero
