Now see, I have watched the first movie ages ago .. and did not finish it in it's entirety. I know some stuff, but boy did I forget MUCH!!! Come with me to Middle Earth and see what the fellowship is up to!

The next two films will most likely be TOTALLY Blind... i'll probably know some memes though and a very popular Flash Animation from 2005

The Hobbit is a prequel to Lord of the Rings or rather The Hobbit story came first and tells about Bilbos journey and how he got the ring.

Sapphire

Yes that is Bilbo's book, but In-Universe is titled "There and Back Again"

UK invented Miles. The imperial system was made by them. "In 1973 the United Kingdom joined the European Economic Community. Metrication had by then been under way of metric units. until the end of 1985." they didnt abandon it until 40 years ago when they switched the Metric. The hobbit and lord of the rings are from almost 100 years ago.

You asked about the missing Rings of Power. The Nazgul obviously have the 9 given to man cuz theyre the same men who originally got them. The 7 Rings given to the Dwarven Kings have been lost to time. The 3 Elven rings are still around and in use. Gandalf has the ring of Fire. Galadriel has the Ring of Water, and Elrond has the Ring of Air. I do not believe this is ever addressed in the films.

David Winden

Yep, they dont tell in the movies about the owner of the Elven Rings. And because Gandalf wore and Galadriel wear one they both fear the power of "the one ring". The world of Middle Earth is such a big and diverse world with so much lore. Once you are done with the movies you should check up how big it really is. Thats an own rabbit hole :)

Sapphire

Its so wild that Christopher Lee who plays Saruman in these movies, was so old, he KNEW JRR Tolkien personally. He met him in the 1950s in a pub in the UK!

elemwyn

Huh, I did not know that. Interesting ☺️

Sapphire

Ned Starks actor dies in like every movie hes in lol

Sapphire

I dont know if you'd consider this but I watch a fair few other reaction people on patreon like you, and none of them do the transparency thing and dont seem to have issues. some have a much bigger video window than you too. Its really hard to watch along sometimes cuz I see right thru the video due to the transparency. It was particularly noticeable with this movie. I had no idea whats going on most of the time and had to go by memory of when I watched it years ago.

Sapphire

Samwise sinking in that water like he ate a devil fruit! lol

Yes I know and I hate to do this aswell, but copyright law in Germany is brutal . There is a very thin line of 'fair use' and they are way more aggressive here with prosecution. I'll see what I can do, but my alternative was putting only my reaction without any media and I would hate to do that. :(
