In Cam fics, when offered PoV choices, my go to option is to pick the alternate PoV every single time. It always fleshes out the characters and story more.

Ugh. Sinister is basically one of *those* unkillable villains with too much plot armor - except for the fact that we can't really complain about it because he *makes* his own plot armor. How unpleasant.

Truly excellent work here. Everyone involved felt competent and like they were making reasonable decisions. It didn’t feel like things were just going however they needed to so the plot could happen, which is a real risk when dealing with Sinister type characters.

Sinister is the kind of character that can be justifiably killed (when he doesn't have plot armor) if: - He is facing a genius character who has fought him several times and knows his tricks - He is facing a Godlike entity (like the Phoenix or a Celestial) without proper tools and prep - He gets too impatient or cocky and completely misses or underestimates the danger he is in.

This is why when people were all gunho about getting rid of Sinister my thoughts were "ha, you're funny."

To a point. I actively disliked the Team Rocket one because it went way too far in that direction.

Sinister is always fun, in an annoying way. The thief of real catharsis, so a villain for the reader as much if not more than the character.

While Thad & Emma certainly feel that Maddy is her own woman...and Essex seemed to agree with them...I personally can't help but think that Jean's soul or mental essence is still there, but waiting for Maddy to get strong enough to allow her to safely take over control of the body. Though I'm sure some plan will be developed to allow both Jean & Madelyne to exist.
