Beautiful. Fucking chef's kiss. Seriously the best explanation for Shaak Ti's Fall. Tying in the communal nature of her species, the absence of a Padawan, her overall maternal vibe, and sprinkling in a bit of normal human (Togrutan?) decency was truly masterful. I'll be honest, when we learned early on that apparently the whole Council had Fallen I was very skeptical, simply because if everybody's dark... well then nobody really is, are they? I really thought it would detract from story as well as potential opportunities for conflict and drama, and that it would generally be just one slip-and-slide into easy sex scenes, but so far it's all been very well done. Definitely looking forward to the next chapter. Maybe Vader can eventually help Shaak Ti become a mother for real~

Nice chapter. I really am happy for shaak and can see her becomming an absolut loyal follower for vader. The position of his secound in comand would in my opinion be perfect for her, while she becomes his faithfull sub in private, to escape the expectations and rules she has to live under. In publik, she could show the strong side, build over decades of experience and the jedi training, while in private, she blooms in simply having a simple live, following his resonable orders, and in the future lovingly helping rais his children.

Oh...Vader is going to have such a fun time with Shaak Ti! Someone who Fell for similar reasons to himself, who cannot stand by and simply accept losses of family with detachment...someone who'd kill to prevent it from happening. Oh yes, Vader definitely has found a kindred spirit in the Jedi Master Shaak Ti...but will he take that connection far enough to give himself an older half-sibling to his twins? 😉
