White Walkers would be a great workout for good ole Axel. They dont really pose too much of a threat to the knucklehead, but there is a LOT of dead to work through.

With Axel marrying sansa, there is no way he won't at least fly to winterfell to check things out. Especially if he can get there quickly. Looking forward to his eventual conversation/duel with raydar.

Excellent. Considering his wife has a good relationship with her "half-brother" in this fic, I wholeheartedly look forward to Axel at the Wall. Especially since the White Walkers CAN pose a threat to Axel. We saw in the Trial by Seven that Axel CAN be hurt by sufficiently exotic materials, at least the first time they're used against him. And the White Walkers weapons are pretty damn exotic and magical.

Lol Axell has unintentionally saddled Jon with way more nonsense at the Wall. Janos Slynt and his cronies was bad enough, now he has to deal with Renly, Loras and even Ironborn. I give them less than 2 months before the whole wall goes up in flames

I just had a thought from reading Jon's mental description of Ygritte...she shares a number of similar features to Sansa, doesn't she? Ya know...appearance-wise. But Jon's Wilding crush also shares certain personality elements with Arya...so I'm now wondering if a particular Targaryen trait is bubbling away in the back of his mind and Ygritte is an acceptable way for Jon to be THAT kind of close to his "siblings".

Hope once they deal with the Wights the wall just crumbles and falls. Be funny to have the Night's Watch lose its reason for existing once the threat is dealt with and then lose it's walls as well. Be a good time to get rid of the punishment of being sent to the wall for crimes. Can finally put scum to death properly instead of giving them a get out of hell free card with the Night's Watch. With any luck the wall coming down would allow the areas south of it to become far warmer and be more like The Reach. As I'm sure having a giant wall of ice dropped the temperature there a massive amount compared to how it would be without all that ice there.
