Man, I was really expecting a massacre. :d

Sebas Tian

Yeah no, she didn't send the dragons lmao.

Wasirdar

Danny ain't going to accept a Trial if that's Axel's hope. Even if she did, she'd simply claim he cheated to win and attack anyways.

TheSinful

Woman slaughtering her way across a continent before coming to conquer another: "Ah yes, everyone loves my generosity and clearly fears my evil enemies."

Zarek21

Honestly, when was the last time Danny looked in a mirror. Bet she's looking rather Demonic at this point....

Eureka

Delulu is strong in this one

Highfist

Yeah I figured, she has an idea of axel is in her head and all that she sees stems from the preconception.

Chainsword83

Okay people, Davos is okay. We can put away the torches and pitchforks... FOR NOW. Dany: "Fear not Lord Davos, you're safe now from the monstrous Baratheons who have so badly abused you. I promise." Davos: 'Oh sweet merciful Seven, she's even nuttier than her daddy.'

StarPaladin

Ok Axel definitely has to at least kill one of her dragons

Ofunu

I understand the why, but that doesn't stop me from being exasperated with Daenery's delusional take on everything.

Kasikan

Does he not know anything about how dragons just lounged around unless they had a rider guiding them? They're basically just giant cats in how they lounged around and ate stuff, then slept. At least if we're going by how in canon they could keep them in dragon pits and they'd just fly around eating when not lounging and sleeping. Would expect there to be accounts of how they act so that he'd know they can only be used to attack if Daenerys is riding them or having them follow the one she's riding.

Cambrian

he knows plenty about normal dragons. he knows nothing about dragons who have grown to be the size of Balerion the Black Dread in less than a year, when it took centuries for Balerion to reach the size he reached before his death. Daenerys and her dragons have been incredibly empowered via massive amounts of ritualistic blood sacrifices. Needless to say, her dragons would not act at all like the written accounts of dragons from the past would act.

Y. B. A.

Daenerys' POVs are painfully delusional as usual. Seriously, I think even Cersei despite her incompetence and raging narcissism was more self-aware than her. Bruh. Can we veto Daenerys' addition to the harem? Pretty please?

bfoolforty

I really hope he kills Dany, Melisandre, and all the dragons. Just because I feel dumber every time they get a PoV chapter.

SquiddlyWinks

“…after gentle her handling…” words transposed

Ofunu

I hope so too, but Cam already said she is joining the harem :/

Y. B. A.

Fuck. Then I guess that we can fully expect Dany's kids to buy into the Viltrumite Regime thinking they're definitely the good guys lol.

Ofunu

He should kill them all. And to be fair they never should have existed in the first place. I'm not that well versed in ASOIAF's lore but I think I read somewhere that the dragons there were created by the Valyrians, they are not natural. So really, exterminating them is the best choice since they are basically an invasive species no matter where they are.

StarPaladin

Idk Cam said shes gonna be joining his harem (unfortunately) and i think killing one of her so called ‘children’ would kinda make their relationship rocky but an eye for an eye for wiping out half of the royal fleet. I feel like thats fair. But killing ALL OF THEM?? Lmao shes gonna hate this mf for life.

Suika Nine

The Targ DNA will compel them to join the Empire and Conquer for the good of the universe.

Dan Templeton

It isn’t a trial Axel gives a shit about - it’s getting sight on all three dragons at once. He’s doing what any relatively competent tactician/strategist dose - assume your opponent is at least as competent as you are, cue fear of flanking attacks. However at a strategic and macro-tactical level Dragon lady et al are somewhere between totally incompetent/untrained and pretty bad so genocidel fire raids haven’t occurred to them, hopefully…..

redhawktiger

Honestly, I was hoping to see davos lay into Daenerys for being the tyrant and monster she accuses Axel of being, though with his family there I understand why he didn't. And while this chapter does lay down some important plot points.....it feels dull. It fits the story, it's just not it's most exciting chapter lol

Corn The Man

Melisandre really made a mistake letting Davos live. He's insanely persuasive. He talk an iron banker into LOANING money in the show. If anyone can make Danny see reason it's him and his silver tongue

Markus Antonius

Ah yes he must be terrified of the person I have never met but only heard about and definitely not me and my three enormous dragons that burned the fleet he was in charge of to ash… speaking of, was one of his sons in the royal fleet like canon? If so he might be extra afraid

VaticToxic

I can't blame Dany for her being delulu. That's all on Melisandre, who has been feeding her R'hollor lies and rhetoric for, like, at least a year and a half or something. And Dany was a thoughtless, beaten down, abused slave in all but name girl. Her own conscience acting up to heal others is the ONLY thought Dany has had that wasn't corrupted in some way by Melisandre imo. Even her relationship with Missandei was, if not outright corrupted, used by Melisandre. I'm hoping she realizes that the only Demon in her life is Melisandre, tbh.

oscar enrique sampedro lopez

Thanks for the chapter. Good as always. Daenerys' delusion continues, will be hilarious when they are broken

BYMZ

Not every freaking noble girl needs to be in the harem.

BYMZ

Can Dany even have children at this point? I thought she was barren like in the show and books?

BYMZ

Can we please just get rid of Danaerys Targaryen. We really don't need another girl in the harem. Like what is even the point of her joining??

Isai

I'm hoping they do a trial and Dany puts her dragons as her champions lmao

Potato

Agreed

William

That is SOOO untrue, Cersei is a delusional narcissist DESPITE being told by almost everyone with any sense around her telling her that she is an idiot, and many of them even explaining WHY she is an idiot. She still firmly believes that she is cleverer and more cunning than anyone else in the world, and that they all just look down on her for being a woman. Daenerys on the other hand, is basically raised by people who are eagerly trying their best to delude her and her brother into believing in Targaryen divine right to rule the world, and that everyone in westeros dearly misses the house of the dragon. But when people start telling Daenerys true facts about things that have happened in westeros and what its like in westeros, she easily enough accepts that her family is full of lunatics just like her brother and that almost no one cares who sits on the iron throne, Targaryen, Baratheon, or French hen, all that the small folk care about is their families and their lives. Daenerys may still become ruthless enough that she might as well be mad, but for the most part she just did the extremely unlikely and listened to her advisors teachings, and when her advisors died, they taught her she was too soft on the people that killed them. Im not saying Daenerys isnt a bit deluded depending on the specific point in whatever timelines, but there isnt a single timeline I've seen where Daenerys is anywhere close to Cersei on the vicious idiot scale.

William

Im also not SUPER clear on the lore, but I'm almost certain, based on what lore I do know, that the Valyrians did NOT create the dragons, the Valyrians CLAIM to have DISCOVERED the dragons in their home peninsula or something if some things I was just reading through are correct, though I'm sure I read somewhere else a while back that the Valyrians found the dragons somewhere in the far east, in or past the shadow, either way, its agreed that the Valyrians themselves claim to have specifically DISCOVERED the dragons, not created. But as much as I dislike the theories that the dragons were created at all, I will admit that I've read plenty of interpretations of the lore that CAN explain someone else creating the dragons long before the valyrians found them, BUT, regardless of whether I like those theories or not, I genuinely not convinced by them, because as far as I know, despite numerous theories about the origins of dragons, there is no actual evidence or reason to believe that the dragons aren't just natural creatures of Planetos, there are wyverns and wyrms in canon that are believed to be related to dragons in some theories, and in some of the best "created" theories I've seen, some mages created the dragons as a hybrid species of those wyverns(no fire, size limit 30 ft, but can fly) and wyrms(cant fly, can fire breath, and grow to 'monstrous' sizes) but in those theories there isn't any explanation for who or how the wyrms/wyverns were created, because those creatures are for some reason more acceptable as 'natural' than the dragons. But regardless of those theories, the existence of those 2 other dragon like creatures basically confirms well enough to me that the dragons are just as natural to planetos as any other seemingly fantastical wildlife. I think the main reason that there is such a big mystery/conspiracy culture about the origins of dragons in planetos is likely because of the dragon's prominence in planentos history. Not to say that the origins of dragons ISNT a bit of a mystery, just that the mystery isnt HOW the dragons exist, its WHERE they came from, the east? The valyrian peninsula? The shadow? Because there is plenty of reasonable evidence to question where they showed up first, like if im not mistaken, there is evidence of dragon skeletons in westeros that seem to have been there since before the valyrians are said to have even discovered dragons at all.

Alun Lewis

Dany isn't 100% gone...but Melissandre needs to fornicate the direwolf ASAP so Dany actively starts to realizes she's been a pawn for years and the Red Priestess has just been her latest and most successful puppet master. She's definitely delusional but her mercies can be the hook that someone like Davos or Axel can use to pull her head out of her ass.

Ofunu

I know, but Cam said this a few chapters ago in a comment. It's not me asking for it, I actually want her killed.
