Lord Sesshomaru

A wild Val appears in this chapter ❤️

JoeMcCool

Who is the wilding chick in white? A future girlfriend? Hopefully not a relative of Axel. 😅

TheSinful

"If we take him hostage" Bitch, he FLEW in! The fuck you expect to do?

Munsu

I've always liked Mance. He's always been one of my favorite characters, and the way he was portrayed in the series was delightful. I am very much looking forward to the conversation to come. Oh, and Little Snake can go get bent. The way Tormund dealt with him in the series was another part I found absolutely delightful. Fucking waste of space. Though, talking about Tormund, that's another dude I'm looking forward to see.

Axel: Man, I'm starving. On a completely unrelated note, some of you assholes are cannibals, right? Sansa: Bad hubby. Don't bully my brother's little friends.

William

I also never get tired of Axel getting to say that line.

DesertChocolate

I was honestly hoping he'd try Axel. Axel bodying dickheads is hilarious. Or at least give him the Hancock orbital special.

redhawktiger

That was a good bit of humor. While not much really happened, it was a great chapter.

Alun Lewis

Be really funny if Ned, once news of Axel defeating Daenerys and making her one of his women or a servant reached Winterfell, finally told Caitlyn the truth about Jon and told her off for being a bitch to him so many years. And that she has some nice-making to do with her nephew, once he officially welcomes Jon into House Stark if Jon wishes it. Cuz at this point, hiding Jon's parentage is just stupid to a point far surpassing some of the shit in GOT S8. As for Axel & Jon's arrival at the Wilding camp, I definitely love Axel's continued need to showboat...though I hope Rattleshirt gets folded like a shirt if he actually tries to FAFO with Axel. And that Val tries to make Axel her "newest pet" and has the script flipped on her via our himbo hero demonstrating how Viltrumites get down 😉

thevolunteer

Rattleshirt is such a fucking lemming. Love to see him die in every goddamn fic he shows up in, it’s one of my favorite things in ASOIAF stories. Like seeing how Baelish bitches while his plans fall apart or how Ramsay dies.

thevolunteer

Scandanavian Winter Princess type from canon. Looks like Elsa, acts like Merida.

Cat was downright mild in her behavior towards Jon by the standards of Westeros, Ned owes HER and Jon an apology. Cat might want to apologize herself to Jon, but Ned? Not a shot. And I am not a Catelyn apologist, she’s one of the characters most prone to making stupid decisions in the whole series.

JoeMcCool

So a future Axel gf. Gotcha. 😁👍

JoeMcCool

Just thought of this, Axel is going to meet Wun-Wun, right? He might hover up so he can look the giant right in the eye. 😏

thevolunteer

I wonder if we’ll get book or show Tormund

thevolunteer

Aww I love book Tormund. Show Tormund suffered from some pretty severe Flanderization. Book Tormund actually possessed a brain and knew how to use it.

William

Hold on, im not taking any sides as I dont really feel too strongly either way on Ned's decisions, but why are you saying he owes them an apology? Just trying to understand.

Alun Lewis

I think the logic is that because Ned never told either of them (Caitlyn or Jon) the truth about Jon's parentage, that he's the sole reason that Caitlyn treated Jon poorly as the constant reminder of her husband's supposed infidelity that Jon is officially presented as to the general populace. Which is fair...to an extent, IMO. But Jon's true identity as Aegon Targaryen VII, son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark (Ned's sister) represented a death sentence for Jon due to Robert Baratheon's murder-boner for House Targaryen that would have seen Jon murdered for no reason other than having Targaryen blood in his veins while Robert still lived. Hence my point in the original comment that Ned should come clean to both his wife and his "bastard son" because Axel, even before ending up with Daenerys in his harem, was far more forgiving about Targaryens continuing to live anywhere on Planetos than his father.

thevolunteer

Cat for lying to her, and Jon for letting him be treated poorly and as less-than for his entire life. Add in the fact that Ned was only ever going to tell Jon the truth of his parentage after he forswore all claims and titles at the wall… Ned owes Jon a hell of a lot. The second is the more egregious imo.

IDK, Val is hot and all, but I've kinda grown fond of the thought of the Champion of the Seven having a harem of seven. I mean I wouldn't mind Val getting that big fat Viltrumite dick, but at the same time eight doesn't have the same ring. ON THE OTHER HAND... If Axel "stole" a Wildling woman, that might make them more inclined to kneel to or at least follow him, as he's shown respect for their ways. Either way, I'm here for Axel's interactions with the Free Folk. Also wondering if the truth of Jon's parentage will ever come out. Would make for a sweet scene perhaps. Sansa: "I don't care if you're not my father's son by birth Jon, you're still my brother." Axel: "And still my good brother, Jon Snow. I have your measure, and know you wouldn't harm the realm for the sake of a throne you don't want. Now come say hi to your aunt, she's missed having family and I can only knock her up so quickly."

Kasikan

Ah, the wildlings. They hate kneelers and will never kneel before a king. By the way, have you met their king? When he speaks they do whatever he says. Funny how that worked out for them. Since apparently they've had several kings across the ages all while they claim they won't kneel to a king.

Kasikan

He could do the seven by seven bit. Each wife has 6 followers to make them a nice set of 7. Then he gets to pick a few more wives up and a whole bunch more women to serve his wives. Besides, at some point they'll all grow old and he'll still be young and powerful. So it's not like he should ignore that once it happens, since he'll likely have to have more than 7 wives once the older ones can't keep up with him anymore.

thevolunteer

Wouldn’t this be 7? Am I missing something counting? Sansa, Arianne, Tyene, Marg, Dany, Asha, Val. Unless you are counting Arya? I’d honestly rather Arya be left out.

Kasikan

He was probably counting Missandei as Daenerys' additional wife, the same way Sansa has Margery and Arianne has Tyene. Which I'd view as 4 wives and three followers, rather than seven wives with Asha bringing the number to 4.

Chainsword83

Yeah, you forgot Best Girl Missandei. :P
