Yeahh Celine is definitely a bitch. Way too black and white with how the world works based off the little time we saw her and what with even at the very end trying to cover up the marks. Youd think she'd snap out of it but the movie definitely went with the whole newer generation being more accepting then the old one and Celine would definitely snap at somebody for suggesting something to her she doesn't agree with

In my opinion, Celine has had massive PTSD for 24 years and also the entire weight of the world on her shoulders for 18 of those years, so there's been no chance for her to snap out of it tbh. My boy Bobby showing he has the highest amounts of emotional intelligence and common sense. That idea of a spliter factions of demons is actually kind of fascinating. Imagine Jinu's band as a group broke Gwi-Ma hold and they go Punisher or Ghost Rider and only eat the souls of evil people and they made their boy band because they're all former humans that sold their soul for singing abilities.

Thanks that does help shone a light on more of her personality. I do agree she's definitely broken and just going but what she feels is right and she definitely cares about the girls especially rumi. But I just think outside of that she'd be a total mega bitch to anybody ELSE and all business. Unless she NEEDED to put on the personal of the sunlight sisters to be all happy for the fans

I agree with you 90% on that. I think Celine is only being a mega bitch to Bobby right now because he went off half-cocked. But she does care about him more than she cares about most other people. Not as much as she cares about the girls, but then to be fair, she also doesn't care about Mira and Zoey as much as she cares about Rumi lol

My head cannon is that rumis mother fell in love similar to her but instead of being accepting the others killed the father because "the only good demon is a dead demon" and then celine thought that her friend was bewitched or something. And during the pregnancy rumis mother was grieving the entire time and closed off all communication. And then finally died in childbirth because the part demon essence inside of her poisoned her. As for the third singer my guess is she either died fighting with celine later on or she actually knew the truth and just disappeared. Sadly we just dont KNOW enoigh about the universe. But I could also see them easily going the road of she's been trapped in the demon realm this whole time and they have to go INTO it to free her

Celine keeps jumping to conclusions without any type of evidence. I really don’t like when characters do that.

As much as WE know Jinu is good, has his soul, and wants to ensure the Rainbow Honmoon is enacted to ensure Gwi-Ma and his loyal minions stay trapped but allow any other "nice" demons to cross over...I can see Celine's point about all demons being evil if Jinu is going to be the second - at most - nice demon she's ever encountered in person. And honestly? None of us know what the true motivatons of Rumi's dad - canonically, I mean - were. So Rumi's dad could have been a precursor to Jinu and a fairly benign demon who just wanted to be anything but Gwi-Ma's henchmen, or he could have been part of a splinter group of demons who sought to overthrow Gwi-Ma and decided to see if they could co-opt or corrupt the then-current generation of demon hunters via seducing one of them. I mean, Jinu seems to think himself unique, and certainly hasn't brought up any past examples of demons trying to go straight...but logically, Gwi-Ma would want to keep a lid on that kind of information.

I mean, I totally understand why Celine thinks a good demon is impossible. I mean, the problem is that Gwi-Ma can control ANY demon without a soul (anyone but Cambrian's Jinu) through their patterns, right? A demon could be a total sugarcube, but Gwi-Ma could still control them like a puppet to kill the person they love, right?

i know there's many theories floating about and all that.........but i got a crazy theory about why celine actually seems nervous (PTSD Style) about jinu being brought in alive, why she froze up and took the "Rick Style" exit of the conversation, at least when it comes to the plot of this story alone but i'll wait and see for the confrontation to be

Always thought it was because both Celine and Rumi's mother both fell for the Rumi's Dad. I can see it almost like an Inyadha style trope. (Demon falls in love with mortsl) Celine feels extremely guilt and hate for Rymu's dad for choosing Rumi's mom snd also probably the reason she died at childbirth, and they never mention the mysterious third member, so I'm assuming she's aware so she either hates Celine for causing it or she wad one of the ones who wanted to kill Rumi because she was half demon and doesnt see her human half.
