For me it's always been Blade 1, then Trinity, then 2. Also, sadly missed a chance for Celine to, as she slams Jinu down with the Honmoon, to say "Some motherfuckers are always trying to ice-skate uphill."

I can't help but wonder if Jinu will end up converting the Honmoon binding him into Rainbow Honmoon. After all, he IS a carrier. No doubt it would make Celine seriously freak out. Plus, now that I think about it, I think we're missing a little Bobby in this scene! :)

Olden times? Omakes are still a thing in fanfic...or at least they are amongst some of the writers I follow on different platforms. The fact they're writers who've been around since prior or shortly after the start of the new millennium has nothing to do with that, I'm sure 😉

Trinity is held up by Snipes being a bad motherfucker as Blade, and Ryan Reynolds unintentionally (or intentionally?) testing out for Deadpool by basically making his version of Hannibal King into an undercover role for Wade...where he's not trying being to be anyone else but himself. I still itch to call someone a cock-juggling thundercunt to this day 😉 Blade 1 is still the best of the three, and Blade 2 is good but I've never personally loved the mutant vamps-with Predator-mouths baddies.

I think Celine is about to get a BIG surprise, via Jinu using the Rainbow or Golden Honmoon to overpower her and remain unaffected by further attempts to bind him. That and maybe Jinu telling tales about what he heard about the Sunlight Sisters down in the demon realm...including a hint about what happened to Rumi's dad?

Excellent intro to the more demonological parts of of the story. I appreciate the film keeping the hows and why’s of Demons vague since it’s ultimately a story of Rumi and Jinu’s personal felt experience and too much detail would just bog it down. It seems to me that in this Canon at least Selene didn’t train 3 demon hunters. Hunters study their prey in order to better defeat them. What Selene trained was 3 demon killers.

Yeah, I don't think Celine had the time to train them to do anything but kill demons as efficiently as possible. Between that and idol training and her being the last Sunlight Sister left, everything else had to fall to the wayside

I agree wholeheartedly that Celine was put in an impossible position and did the best she could. The tragedy of her character is that she’s a good person who’s doing a necessary service to her fellow man against an objective evil in Gwi-ma, but is in regards to one thing is just incorrect, Rumi’s patterns. In the movie she is beautifully characterized from Rumi’s point of view. The movie is about Rumi’s self actualization and drawing a more explicit characterization for Celine would probably have made the story worse than the steel trap of a movie it is. God KPDH is such a tight machine of a movie.
