So far so great, whenever you have time you should watch/read the behind the scenes of kpop demon hunters because it goes deeper lol. Apparently it was supposed to be a darker story lile rated 15+/r movie but decided to tone it down. But let's just say that in the original Celine was semi a villian, original story was after Rumi was exposed and she ran back to Celine, it's where Rumi discovered that her mother and demon father actually loved each other, but Celine only saw hatred in demons, so she killed Rumi's mom and dad was banished back to who knows where since it's implied there's more than one demon king and factions (benevolent and evil spirits and demons). Also apparently after Jinu sacrifices himself Rumi was supposed to see a glimpse of her parents together with Rumi's father giving her mom a purple flower which was the reason why she was immune to Gwi-wa. Yeah did a deep lore dive, hoping for a 2nd movie or a tv series, but irs sony, theyre bad at making good choices

Yeah I'm tangentially aware of all the cut content/stuff that didn't make it into the movie. I will say, the way I'm going with Rumi's parents in this story probably won't be close to canon when we finally get a sequel or tv series.

Yeah I'm aware lmao, its not just one, it's probably like a dozen. There's even one specific guy who has made five different webnovel accounts attached to five different patreons each stealing one of five of my stories.

Yeah webnovel is a garbage website tbh. my advice, high-key, would be to use that website as little as possible because its super fucking toxic and trash in a number of different ways lmao

While I agree with your Reddit essay about Celine not being a villain...Rumi's own self-loathing is definitely not something HUNTR/X's leader developed on her lonesome. Mira and Zoey revealing that they know her secret and showing their support will help a lot...but I really worry how stubborn or wilfully blind Celine will be. Especially if there was demonic shenanigans involved in Mi-yeong's death...

Agreed. From another author's perspective, it's a mistake posting there. But I keep my fic there so copies like that have it harder to steal identity. Avoid that site like fire. It has many issues including security, for readers too.

@Saileri Yeah see I tried to post everything there so people would stop stealing my work, but Webnovel limits you to 20 stories per account. So after making three accounts, I gave up lmao. I didn't want to keep making throwaway emails for that garbage

Still enjoying this immensely. But I think we're just about at the point where Rumi not getting confronted for being needlessly aggressive will start to not make sense. So, hopefully, Mira and Zoey can confront Rumi on how she feels like she has to prove herself to be super extra anti-demon because she's a half-demon.

@Saileri Right? Plus they literally paywall basic editing tools like italics and bolding. Have to pay them a monthly subscription fee to be able to use those things, which of course I never did. Utterly ridiculous garbage can of a website xD
