While I find the idea of gender bending the protagonist funny, that's about my interest in it. Just to play it for laughs, like a prominent super hero falling in love at first sight with this NEW heroin. And shenanigans ensue. I still prefer the idea that while morally good, lucien is still very much his father's son, and no one tells a Luthor what he can and can't do.

Lucien should just tell Diana that Themyscira will fall and go for option three (while sending out a message to all his contacts - Blackfire, Star fire, Kara and Barbara that Darkseid's Daughter is attacking the Amazons) on the way there he can tell Diana had a "vision" of Themyscira's destruction by Grail's hands if she asks.

Having him just bulldoze his way there just when things are going to go down is gonna make him have to answer hard questions, like how he knew they wouldn't be enough. He will have to come clean.

Just busting in to Mighty Mouse things - ya know, "here I am//to save the day!" - and give Grail a better opponent isn't going to win him any/many Amazonian fans, so that's why offering his services as a healer was my pick. But he's also gotta remain a dude and be a big part of stopping Grail's rampage to get all the out-and-out misandrists to start pulling their heads out of their asses...even if Lucien himself was persona non grata, Themyscira being less bigoted would have meant an arguably male-heavy Justice League would have been called on for assistance when Grail started really wrecking house.

Huh didn't think this was how the next reset was going to go or that it would be such a short hop back. Pretty much side steps all the possible issues I was thinking of. That doe make me wonder if there will be a point that forces him to go all the way back to the start of the story?
