I'm just trying to figure out how this proves he is who he says he is? At the end of the day he is just showing the formation of the first honmoon by the first hunters and that Ahri became one of the 2nd gen hunters through inference by the honmoon. Now the honmoon could have probably inferred the relationship between Ahri and Jinu as well but it would have been much more effective if the honmoon showed them all his deal, rise, and fall alongside the village attack much like it did for Jinu in the bathhouse. That way they can at least see that the woman and girl in the village attack are the same people that were Jinu's family. It would also show them all the circumstances behind his demonification. Whether that earns him disgust or sympathy would be up to individual interpretation and could possibly open up interesting avenues of inquiry Other than that bit of confusion on my part. I enjoyed the chapter. Can't wait for the next one

Another great chapter, think it'll take awhile for Celine to believe jinu, loved how the hunmoon show the memory, can't wait for the next chapter

Belly

Plot twist: both derpy and sussie are guardian spirits who are either a part of Jinu's line or his sister sent them to protect him somehow.

Alatoic

hope there is some physical evidence, a letter from the sister, a journal, just to cement the claim. Self forgiveness is going to be a big part of this story right?

Cambrian

Its basically the Honmoon seeming to back up his claim that proves he's telling the truth. Otherwise why would the Honmoon show them the memory and everything happening the way he says it happened. That sort of thing. Plus Mira and Zoey leaping in to mess with Celine about it keeps her off her game and from offering a proper rebuttal

Cambrian

there is indeed physical evidence~

Ngl the no smut atm im really liking, like this story is just kinda shining atm. Ik it will come but this is nice

I think it's pretty clear what Celine's deal is. Jinu's evidence is iron-clad, but Celine simply believes that what she wants to be true, is true. I imagine it's too big a blow to her world-view to accept what the Honmoon is telling her. Unfortunately, the only one that can get through to Celine at this point is… Celine. Well… and Cambrian, I suppose XD

Alun Lewis

If Celine can trace her lineage back to Ahri, then she's probably in possession of certain items or artifacts that show the family tree that far back...including any siblings Ahri had. Which would be only a brother...named "Jinu". Now, if there was some highly precious letter or diary from Ahri that mentioned her continued thoughts about her brother being an entertainer in the Emperor's court...that might better cement Jinu's claims, but Celine is still very free to try and find some crazy explanation for how Jinu can know things about her ancestor and not be her soul-damned great (x16) grand-uncle.

Alun Lewis

Really wonder if Celine rushing home to ransack whatever collection of her family's heirlooms she id in possession of and finding proof Jinu's claim is true will force her to confront any possible decisions made about Rumi's parents...though having a now-current demon as a distant ancestor isn't the same as (willingly?) having a kid with a demon.

William

There is technically NOTHING ironclad about jinu's evidence, he showed them a vision of something they have no way of knowing was real, and for all Celine knows, jinu could have seen that event because he was one of the demons attacking the village or something, Celine has plenty of reason to doubt the claim, it is pretty unbelievable for her even if the timing matches up with the honmoon being 400 years old and jinu being 400 years old.
