Endless Legacy Ch. 106 (DC Comics)

  • Actually his pedantry works... a little too well. Queen Hippolyta owes him a life debt whether Lucien likes it or not. 305
  • Yeah no one is actually buying that excuse, but for the sake of his actions, his trespass on Themyscira is forgiven 96

It’s so much funnier if they are still pissed at him.

Cambrian

Option 1 will definitely facilitate that xD

Rotaugur

Cant it be both? They try to punish him, while their queen still owes her live to him? But please, let Diane offer herself to him for the debt. Would be a nice way of having her around him more, and he does not have to add another pokemon to his harem.

Detectivetrap23

He's technically correct, the best kind of correct. Should've worded your prohibitions a little more carefully Hippolyta!

Zarek21

Ah being a Rules Lawyer, the one thing everybody hates when its against them and loves when its with them

Corn The Man

There's a Greek god of war, a Greek god of partying, even a Greek god of the Sea! But where's the Greek god of lawyers when you need them.

SylverIron

....well depends; is this religious law or social customs law? Apollo for law pertaining to Religion and Themis for everything else. But there was that one time Athena presided over Greek Orestia, but I.. don't think she had the right credentials for that...

Daniel Auger

I wonder if Lucien's status as Champion of Death of the Endless and his recently adapted New God DNA is what gives the Olympian Gods pause. Would be great, given that mystical connection, for the Amazons to be the first to glean Lucien's true power and star pulling at the bigger plot threads again (tho I do love this Grail arc, so muddy)

Whitewolf0782

there is Themis. she is the greek goddess of justice, customs and divine law

VaticToxic

Dike carries out Justice, as a Universal Ideal with "fair judgement" rather than based on societal norms or customs. Themis is Divine Law, and Customs, including the "proper relation between man and woman" and rightly ordered family.

TheSinful

She's a goddess. She does what she wants and no one but a higher god can say shit

Harlequin

he didn't even touch Themyscira, he used Grail's face as a buffer lol

Crispined Glover Potato Snacks

"Diana’s mother Hippolyte, Queen of the Amazons, begins to come down the street". I think Hippolyta is misspelled. "I plead that you treat lightly with this man". Is treat supposed to be tread, both make sense. Something makes me think Hippolyta would not mind owing our boy a life debt.

Cambrian

Good catch on the first one. Treat is the intended word on the second one but I see why its confusing so I changed it to say "I plead that you treat this man gently" Thanks, fixt!

Gamertecno

I went with option 1 for the funnies but I would have loved a third option where the Goddesses speak up on that being technically true and that it annoys them, considering it was the goddesses that made the law. Granted that only works if the DC cannon followed the real world mythos on that detail. It could also make our boy sweat a little if the goddesses noticed his new changes after his fight with grail.

Cambrian

Planning on having greek goddesses show up later in the Option 1 path fufufu

Voivode

I had hoped you go the 'I was flying the whole time so it doesn't count' route.

Doug Bowman

Would have chosen a third option for "technically correct, but fuck off pedant"
