Ahhh, an unhealthy start to a relationship between the (seemingly) most emotionally sound person in the story and the least emotionally sound person in the story, they’re gonna be good together and for each other and the only thing Rumi’s gonna be upset about is they didn’t tell her right away I reckon!

The albatross hung around the neck is a reference to, and this is on me, Samuel Coleridges "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" and is often used in prose as a personal reminder of guilt, due to the weight such a large bird would have when doing so. Now I'm pretty sure Larkin references it in some of his work but it's been almost 20yrs since I was a student and studying English Literature at college, So looking back at things I can't support thisclaim this with confidence anymore. Loved that professor and that class, so sad I can't remember more of it, ah well, c'est la vie.

Eh....even when "Asian don't raisin" is in effect, there's a solid chance that a woman Celine's age is past her child-bearing years. It'd be hilarious, though, for Rumi to gain a little "brother" or "sister" via Bobby getting her pregnant, but one wonders if the Honmoon will ensure that everything goes smoothly.

Jesus...Celine's only 46?! I mean...I'm 4 years younger than her and now feel super-old at the idea of being that age, and having an adult daughter who's a pop superstar-slash-demon hunter. And thinking someone in their 30s is age inappropriate for a relationship! 😉 But yeah...not the most postcard romantic start of a relationship I've ever witnessed, but I cant wait to see where the Cebby relationship goes 😀
