Playing overwatch is probably the best use of his luck and expanded telepathy, as boring as that will probably be to read. Mabye have the chapter switching between everybodies perspectives every 5 paragraphs?

Thad being the heavy hitter of his home grown team is something I just really want to see. Secret base destruction pt. 2! At this point, I’m just wanting Thaddeus and Emma to confess their love for each other and even if they don’t settle down, make their commitment official.

The man in the chair is really the best role for an overpowered telepath trying not to scare the little people too much.

I am so torn. On the one hand, playing mastermind can keep far more people safe via coordinating friendlies and disrupting foes (plus a splash of luck wherever he's looking) but I also want to see Thad cut loose and make a name. With how he's developed (or how we've developed him) he's more cautious and less heroic, keeping under the radar with the Hellfire club. The public doesn't need to know about a new giga-hero.

Hmmmm. All good options. I'm voting going with the Avengers, simply cause that might make the heroes less likely to tangle with the Hellfire Club without at least talking to Thaddeus first. I see that staying behind as overwatch is in the lead, and honestly that might be the smart move, ESPECIALLY if all the groups know that he's going to be helping coordinate them and stuff. Either way, I really do hope that he communicates mostly honestly with his allies.

I’ve read one fic where the MC eventually sits back and becomes a Hand in the Shadows as a part of that fic’s Illuminati and holy crap was that a disappointment. Especially since his system power relied on fame, he eventually just stopped growing stronger and lost the system and ended up as just stronger than Black Widow and Hawkeye and weaker than everyone else in the Avengers…

Lmao that sounds really stupid. Why write a fic where the entire power system is based on fame and then just ignore that?

On the Hellfire chess board Thad is like a super-king (chess variant where the king can move like a queen and sometimes also a knight), it makes plenty of sense to keep them in the back row, but they also could advance to the front lines. (At least I think, I don't really play chess let alone chess variants) Considering teleportation I don't see why Thaddeus couldn't jump in from overwatch, so that is a doubly smart move unless he wants to make a name for himself as a hero, in which case we go for Avengers.

I voted for going with the closer-to-home allies, as a combination of the need to keep his head down combined with his own need to back up his girls. But I can see the point in having (possibly) the world's two most powerful telepaths on overwatch, keeping an eye on everything and steering people to where they are needed.

Stay with Emma, be the man in the chair. Also use some reality warping to create some clues and evidence to give to the hero teams so they can hide their telepathic and reality warping powers and also so they do not come off as mad to send heroes on hydra plants who from their perspective are world leaders just based on a hunch

why not contact both Fury and She-hulk so Shield and Avengers can join gang up against Hydra? They can coorderinate and attack different Hydra bases if they find some after reading minds of their agents. More places you hit, it will be difficult for Hydra to defend.

It's all hands on deck, the question is where Thaddeus will be, will he be with the Brotherhood, the Avengers, Shield, his own crew, or with Emma overwatching the entire operation.

I feel like Gwen needs some time to shine and this might be an opportunity to have Laura switch over fully to team Thaddeus.

For Character suggestions, as always I will suggest Meggan Puceanu because Elf Girl and Shapeshifting with the powers of the person you shapeshift into is too cool to ignore. Some other exotic looking characters would include Pixie and Blink. Though another interesting option would be the inhuman ladies, specifically Crystal (Crystalia Amaquelin) or Medusa (Medusalith Amaquelin).

Thank god I’m not the only one thinking that. By the time the story was nearly finished I was just wondering if I should even read the ‘last half’. Then the dude’s system just up and went “Seriously? You’re gonna just be guys in the shadows? Screw this.” Well, kinda dropped it with a hundred or so chapters left so maybe something changed? I don’t remember the title nor care enough to go and finish it…

I voted for overwatch, but I also consider him a rapid response actor, with teleportation he can respond to unexpected threats very quickly.

Thaddeus and Emma would be better off leaking the info to all the groups that would be involved in this operation and use their telepathy to subtly push them to all conduct their attacks at the same time. It would be better if they just serve as a form of mission control behind the scenes, so much so that even the heroes don't know they are involved.

I'm going with overwatch and like some have said using teleportation when things get hairy, reality warp some clues and for the female mutant I will go with a curve ball and say he jumps in to save Polaris. The thought of seeing Magneto finding out Thad is with both daughter's is funny to me. Also I think getting the same power as Magneto will boost Thad a ton in preparation in taking on the black queen, Sinister and most likely in the end Apocalypse.

I voted for joining Nat & and the freed Widows in going after Black Sites. I think Thad should be part of the attacking forces, but team up with the allied group most aligned with the Hellfire Club's stance on things to stay on the downlow.
