And here we go...time to see what your fannon Rumi's dad has done, even if only from her point of veiw.

Nothing but the truth now, Celine

FreqNiko

My head cannon is that her father started human when they were first getting together and they just didn't break up when he was corrupted into a Demon by Gwi-Ma.

Celine: "You probably want to fire me for having an active sex life." Rumi: "I know you're an ancient lich from the previous millennium, but so long as you don't TELL me about your sex life, we're good."

I can’t wait for tomorrow

Well, canon already has to lift a mountain to explain away how a hunter could get pregnant by a demon while keeping it PG, so whatever you've come up with, canon or not, probably makes more sense than whatever they came up with.

Absolutely love this story. Saw KPop for the first time last night and a friend immediately recommend this... I got maybe an hour sleep and have been binge-reading this for many long hours lol. Once I started reading I pretty much couldn't put it down and I eagerly await the next chapter!

That....that would be quite the mirror to Jinu's character arc, but with Mi-yeong not being enough to keep her love from falling into Gwi-ma's clutches. Though it would give Zoey ammunition to point out Rumi is a combo of Luke & Leia from Star Wars, since her parents would have emulated Anakin & Padmé's relationship...and fuel jokes about Celine being Obi-Wan Kenobi 😉

Oohhhh....I can't wait for the next chapter! Finally, the deep lore! The Prequel "Trilogy" to explain how our plucky heroine got to the point of things when the events of "K-Pop Demon Hunters" started! Maybe even an introduction to the new mission: rescuing Rumi's dad from Gwi-ma...if he's even somewhat like Jinu or Anakin Skywalker, and capable of seeking redemption.

Really nice concept using roomies original transformation before they had to cut it cuz it was too dark also want I wonder if it's going to be similar to The Fan Art Kpop demon Hunters trailer that someone made about the second movie

TheSinful

When I woke up, it occurred to me that I'm ALSO an ancient lich from the previous millennium

StrevHd

I figured the dad was a converted human who was even better than Jinu at hiding his patterns and he convinced Gwi-Ma that by becoming Mi Yeong's paramour, he could get her guard down.
