Any level of risky decision is to be avoided when the entity in question has the emotional processing capacity of a toaster and the impulse control of a toddler combined with phenomenal cosmic power. We can always try the host body later, after the entity has a bit more control.

Man having Wanda's Powers really came in Clutch here, being able to survive as a Soul an Revive yourself as long as you have the Will to come back saved the day. He is really lucky the Phoenix didn't really pay attention when flicking him away an pinball his soul through Dimensions as well. Or it could be the Phoenix of the White Hot Room revived him for this event to happen. Time works weird for Abstracts like the Phoenix. Could also be the Never Queen watching after what he did for her Chosen Wanda an decided to lend a Hand.

Cambrian

Nah, as it says in the chapter itself, Thaddeus did not revive himself with Wanda's powers. This was something else. Something that will be explored soon enough~

PieBoy4242

No matter what, let's let Jean rest. I wasn't particularly a fan of reviving Pietro, but Wanda would have done it anyway without help and caused an even bigger mess. Pretty sure there's a run of comics based on that.

Narsil

When you're dealing with a power on the level of the Phoenix, if at all possible, you PLAY IT SAFE! Playing it dangerous is a good way to lose the planet. As for What might be responsible for bringing Thaddeus back, I'd put my money on Death.

Nanaya7Nights

I am voting for the empty body hoping that it ends up having the powers of Hope Summers.

Tsorov

There is a mistake near the end of the chapter. It should be "she's taking a wait-and-see approach", not "she'd".

Corn The Man

Okay at first I was like, how bad could a host be. But apparently the Phoenix force is basically omnipotent depending on the host. So mayhaps not a great idea. However, Emma didn't want to play host to the thing, and I kinda want to respect that. Also I'm also hoping if we made a weak host, not like a dying body but just a normal human, it should be enough to restrain some of her power. Or a body that naturally suppresses powers.

VaticToxic

Kinda glad Madelyne as a Host isn't even considered an option ngl.

I'm voting for the empty body. Emma seems emphatically against sharing her body and life with the Phoenix Force, and that's the sort of thing Thad should be backing her up on. He could pitch this as a way for Emma to teach it about human life in a manner that's more comfortable for her. The Phoenix Force gets to grow on its own without a host's biases and Emma gets to (hopefully) discover the passion for teaching that she's shown in the comics.

Sith2go

I say go for the most dangerous option. Whats really the worst that can happen.

Ofunu

While I get the appeal of bringing Jean back to life because "yay! Another hot redhead to fuck." I would not vote for that because timey-wimey shenanigans happen a lot when it comes to her children, and that's annoying as fuck.

Gamertecno

I went with safe but I am thinking a blend of options 1 and 2. First help Emma make peace with the Phoenix and encourage her to teach it restraint, empathy, etc. Then once they feel its "SAFEish" create a body for the Phoenix. Only by that point it gets really attached to both since they kinda are starting to live in each others head a lot, so it insists they create a body the old fashioned way xD. Oh the nightmare of having the Phoenix as a daughter! As for what brought our boy back I would love for it to be Death and we get a small scene of her talking with her Endless Legacy counterpart while she brings him back just for the laughs. I'm not asking for a full blown crossover just a little head nod that conceptual beings like Death are aware of others like them in the multiverse.

Gamertecno

I also wonder if this was a possible perma-death if we made different choices?

Cambrian

Nah, it was never going to be perma-death for... reasons that will become clear given time~

BK-94

making peace seems too boring and many hosts try exactly that, no? Why not try to give an empty body for Pheonix to inahbit so it can experience the emotions on its own rathern than experience through someone else?

Alun Lewis

I voted for Option #1, but I recognize that it can't be a long-term thing unless both Emma and The Phoenix Force do some growing (the latter more than the former). The only upside to this choice is that Phoenix WANTS TO learn about love and already has been taught a significant lesson (or re-taught, for all we know) about it via accidentally smiting Thad.

Freewat

Make peace? After Emma just said she hated it, absolutely not

TIMM31

I want to see the Pheonix force deal with the black queen.

So, I don't really like how chad acted in this chapter. Even with a very basic level of understanding about the Phoenix force, he literally should never have tried to "force" It out of Emma. He should have tried to calm her down, and do basically everything but use force against it. Sure she is panicking, but unless he thinks it's either A: going to consume her mind or B: do immediate harm to her, trying to attack/force the Phoenix force out, just seems so incredibly stupid by Chad as to be entirely out of character. TLDR. To me Chad acted out of character in order for a cheap death to maybe progress the plot in a certain direction. Unless I am misunderstanding and he was in her mind to try and calm her down not push out the PF.

Jeanean

Two questions: How much does he even know about the Pheonix Force? And did he even recognize it for what it was instead of just "a threat"?
