"Oops..." LOL, that is the best chapter ending in the entire fic.

Nice . At least Lucian has a way to make it out of this situation alive now even without reanimating the dead. All he needs to do is ask where darksides daughter was a week ago, kill himself and visit her then, before she decimates them. That will solve most problems, and if he invites to tango with her on an auter plannet, he can beat her safely as well. And he does not have to keep hyppo, as she will never have the debt to him in the first place. He can keep her daughter instead.

The idea of ‘sanctity of death’ in DC of all places is laughable, even ignoring the MC is the champion of death, people come back to live all the time, for dozens of reasons and though manifold methods.

Jazzmanstil

“Oops…” followed by a anime sweat drop would be even funnier in that moment.

Gamesempie

Time to pull out the "Do you know who my patron / sugar mommy is?" card.

Gamesempie

Except he has made it clear he doesn't like abusing his rebirth rewind since it takes away from time at the end of all that he can spend with Death.

Corn The Man

Um...... Batman how did you travel to Pluto? I'm Batman. Also I love that for all Green Lanterns paranoia, he didn't think twice about Supergirl being put on watch, just that Grail would stay on earth. Tunnel vision.

Ofunu

It's one mess after another.

Personally I'd feel Hades wouldn't care all that much so long as Lucien wasn't making them immortal. He'll get them eventually, what's a century or two?

Gamertecno

Wait I just had a thought given Lucien's nature would he be able to handle the life equation and become endless like Death?

Gamertecno

It's funny Lantern thinks he could drag her anywhere and even if she played along Darkside would just smash the Lanterns world for their impudence.

Jeanean

Yeah, but its usually one at a time under fairly unique circumstances. Not worth the time to show up and complain when it's a singular case that is unlikely to repeat. (Even with those pools that one old assassin guy keeps using.) But Lucien just demonstrated that he can revive people easily, on a mass scale, without any real limitation.

Jeanean

Ehmm... didn't we want to switch to Hippolytas POV last time already?

Alun Lewis

While I'd argue that the Fates are more likely to give a shit about someone like Lucien "mending" a life thread after it's been measured out and cut, I can see Hades and Persephone caring about souls being plucked from their clutches after receiving them fairly, since any judgements they would have rendered could be affected by the additional time granted to the resurrected.

Alun Lewis

"Oops..." indeed, amigo. Huge "whoopsie daisy" situation where you've just upset an entire pantheon's apple cart by bringing back hundreds - thousands? - of murdered Amazons with barely a bead of sweat produced. Though one hopes Hippolyta gets a bollocking too for giving up her crown and making herself Lucien's servant so quickly...and without giving consideration to her deities' wishes.

I can't believe I'm just realizing that I forgot to follow the vote on Chapter 109. And I also can't believe that you're the only one who noticed @.@

I have to say I don't really see the argument. Unless the gods get pissed every time someone is saved via CPR or some other modern method of resuscitation, I don't really see the point. If he was bringing back people who had been dead for more then a few minutes, I can see it, but what he does is basically an advanced form of resuscitation.
