Siphon Darkseid's connection to the Omega Force and accidentally become the new God of Tyranny. That should be a nice major step to becoming a baby Endless of Domination...

Utilizing the connection to death exposes the connection to death. If slain by the omega force while his connection is vulnerable, there may be no coming back.

I don't think so no. Darkseid is a God. The Endless are the personification of fundamental universal concepts. Darkseid is a 'new god', a multi dimensional being of the fourth world "born from the Dreaming" ( created by Dream of the Endless), "shackled by the pages of Destiny's book" ( his action's are already written and in the keeping of Destiny of the Endless), and "subject to Death's Authority" ( Death is destined to be the last being in the universe and her cosmic purview means she has the power to reap any being, including gods). The issue I think would be if Death is even allowed to empower someone to kill another. While she is further up the cosmic totem pole than Darkseid and arguably the most powerful being in all existence, she and the other Endless still answer to The Presence and to ancient laws that bind them to their concepts. As an example Death is not meant to actually directly cause death, she is meant to be there when someone dies so that they do in fact die. For example,her being there to reap the soul of someone hit by a car or caught in a house fire is allowed and her entire purpose. Her killing someone or helping to kill someone isn't.

I dont think thats what the poll option means by using his connection with death. They are apparently already doing severe damage to Darkseid, which makes sense. But hes not dying because he cant be easily killed just by breaking his physical body.... so by that logic and by what you're saying, utilizing his connection to Death would just be applying more of her domain to this puny god than she usually would, just to maybe make it possible to kill him just by breaking the body... but either way, personally id prefer the absorption option, but it would also be great to have a moment where Darkseid is shocked and terrified by realizing the death connection means this is his end. Maybe have Lucien absorb the strength, and then Darkseid tries to use THAT connection to kill Lucien, only for Lucien to Link up with Death a bit and stop that in its tracks right before permadeathing Darkseid. So we get a moment like: Darkseid: "MORTAL, YOU DARE STEAL THE STRENGTH OF DARKSEID! THEN IT WILL BE YOUR END!" Lucien+Deathforever: "Not today B1TCH!!" Darkseid: "WHAT- WHAT IS THIS??! THIS POWER... IT IS... DEATH!" The end.

It's good to see something involving Death getting brought back, she's been conspicuously absent for awhile now....

You are obviously more knowledgeable than I in the broader DC lore, however Cam already hinted that Trigon could have fucked up something if death hadn't stepped in. Ergo I made the assumption that using Lucien's connection to death against anything above a given level would be dangerous.

I was thinking more get the other half of Darkseid's biology from the fight like he did with Grail, and then cut off Darkseid's connection to the omega force.

I honestly dont remember the exact details of the Trigon encounter super well, I remember that Lucien copied raven, then trigon took notice, and then Lucien learned he could do the whole reset by revival thing, I dont recall a whole lot other than that about the specifics, but the thing is, Darkseid isnt just Darkseid, technically speaking in some lore or other, all versions of Darkseid throughout the multiverse are the same dude, they are just Avatars of the true big bad evil guy, True Darkseid is one of a few "Ultimate Embodiment of Evil" type of beings, Trigon is another of those, and i THINK it would generally be Trigon that is considered "higher" on that totem pole, but i dont know if that is only counting avatars, either way, Death should be definitely HIGHER than either or both of them combined, not necessarily like she couldnt ever be obstructed by them, but id think she could generally pretty definitively END both of them if she wanted to and there werent any weird rules in the way. I think the only thing that would be more definitive would be if they were fighting Oblivion, the predecessor of Death if im remembering right, though could be mixing up some lore on that. Lore on this kind of cosmic level gets a bit tricky at times because it rarely comes up and a lot of the times it DOES come up, its in situations like "OMG WHAT? this has NEVER EVER happened before and should totally be impossible." At least, that's how I feel about it, but Im really not a lore expert, ive just picked up a ton of stuff from videos and researching the research of fanfics, lol.

Lucien definitely needs to start siphoning off Omega Force energy so Darkseid is made far more vulnerable!
