Demo ver 1.85 is live! (Patreon)
Content
Hi everyone! Hope you've been staying safe and healthy, and I wish a blessed Eid al-Fitr for all celebrating!
Happy to report that a new updated demo has been uploaded on cogdemos. It contains just under 24k words as an update, all of which is brand new content, except one sub-scene at the very tail end (and that part is also heavily modified!) The update is divided into two, roughly-equal sections: the completion of the botany/artifact smuggling forks of Chapter 9's starting scene, and new content past the old demo's terminus.
The remainder of Chapter 9 will still focus on Thulrum and Arcadia, but we should be getting to the next bit of action by the next demo. This update focuses instead on character interaction and worldbuilding, which will continue towards the first half of the next udpate.

The new update uses a separate link from the old one. As there is new content at the beginning of Chapter 9, the character creator presently only skips to that point in the demo.
Monthly features and Arcanist art rewards will be uploaded shortly after this post goes up. The Arcanist art rewards will feature Ander/Adine, the new character unveiled in last week's demo (who, as you might have guessed, is a romance interest). Owing to the Ramadan/Eid al-Fitr holidays, the artist has had trouble completing their portraits on time, and so what will be uploaded will not be the final versions of the artwork (in fact, the artwork for Adine is still currently in sketch form). The final artworks should be delivered in a couple of days, at which point I will update the relevant post. Thank you for your patience in the meantime!
The half-body portraits of Ander/Adine will also be posted once I've received the final artworks. This version will be made as a public post, as has been the case with all of AMR's major characters.
As always, I will be back later today to address any questions and note possible bug reports.
That about wraps it up for this update post. As always, thank you for supporting the development of A Mage Reborn!
