Lots of things and people in this vid, This is a very rough edit without the Voiceover which will add a lot! including Hack Modular (mitch) 2 Retired BT Engineers, Marek and Merlin from north Germany and also Johnny. Been quite the week! Finishing up wiring and then back to more music malarkey this coming week! t

ROUGH NO VOICEOVER

Great to see the old Strowger coming back to life. I was a trunk circuit provision engineer for years in the main exchanges in Glasgow. Racks full of AC9 relay sets, register access relay sets and trunk first selectors, and my job was to connect the relay sets and switches together on the distribution frames to create new circuits going out to other cities in the UK. I saw it all get powered off and ripped out when we went digital, so that's why I'm so pleased to see you resurrecting some of it. If I wasn't so far away, I'd offer to come round and run some jumpers for you. Red, white and green 3 wires... I must have terminated thousands of them. Well done Sam for preserving this stuff. I'll be dialling into it when it's all up and running.

PS... I'm now a Vodafone engineer... still connecting things together, but using slightly different technology!
