Hello, brave noble om’veri patrons and followers! Thank you so much for your continuous support and interest in our project – you’re making it all possible! While the development of 0.22 update is on its way with a very good pace, we would like to pinpoint some important changes of the upcoming content.

First of all: meet the new combined card-based inventory and skills system! We’ve been analyzing your feedback and experimenting with different skills and inventory models trying to make it as user-friendly and thrilling as possible. Thus, we decided to implement the newly-designed CCG-like (the one of the card-collecting games) system, which differs from the one introduced in earlier builds of the game.

Om’vemeanin cards can be found all over Nanraas: many om’veri collect these mysterious items, some even think that they possess supernatural powers! Azaries will need them for sure on her journey!

Om’vemeanin cards can be obtained during the quests or simply purchased in the cities – so prepare your kentecks and Symbols of Amoran!

Main features:

- Cards can be acquired in a number of ways: some of them can be purchased, accepted as gifts from fellow om’veri, traded for some rare and valuable materials, chosen as quest or achievement rewards, stolen or looted from NPCs or enemies, found during the world exploration and much more.

- Cards can produce one of the following types of effects: Instant Effect (card produces immediate effect) or Applied Effect (card needs several turns to charge and only then it produces the effect). Effect type is marked on the top of the card, yet, some rare and valuable samples can produce both Instant and later – the Applied effects. As for the target, cards are divided into two groups: Single Target (one ally or enemy can be targeted at a time – the effect is applied to only one character) and Multitarget (all enemies/all allies/all characters are targeted at once – effect is applied to the group of characters mentioned on the card bottom (allies/enemies/all)).

- Cards can be Single-Time Use (once used, the card disappears from the inventor and must be purchased/obtained again), Permanent (once used, the card remains in the inventory and can be reused multiple times), Permanent Rechargeable (the card has a charges counter – once depleted, it can’t be used until recharged)

- Purchasing a new card is always expensive, nevertheless, recharging a depleted one costs way cheaper than buying it again. Prices on expandable materials like potions, spells or ammo depend on the region and merchant him/herself.

- We are not introducing a Card Rarity System (not yet, at least), so the card price and value is proportional to its effect, type, target type and so on. Do you really think that the Invulnerability Shield card should cost only 100 coins?!!

- The most powerful and useful cards can hardly be found in a simple city shop.

Om’vemeanin cards also have an Elemental Classification, which is easily distinguishable according to looks and coloring:

- Expandable materials. This group includes healing potions, healing sets, buffs and so on. Cards of this type can’t be blocked by the enemy.

- Psy-energy. This card deals damage to the enemies or buffs the allies of corresponding element.

- Power of nature. These cards can heal or buff your allies, as well as neutralize the buffs of your foes.

- Reel’sah. Deals massive damage to om’veri enemies. The rarest and the most expensive elemental type of cards.

- Class-based cards. They do not have specific elements, and most often they can turn the outcome of the battle. These cards have no charges, and their use is limited to a few times per battle. There is only one way to obtain items of this type: the successful completion of quests of the class storyline.

Note: Nental’s equipment consists of Expandable Materials cards, but they can be purchased only by Azaries of the corresponding class using Nental points in the cities.

There are five active card slots. This is more than enough to build your own fighting style and mitigate the team's weaknesses. The charges of each card are displayed under its picture. You can change the set of cards between battles on the global map or in the cities.

Note: Surprise battles may occur during Azaries’ journey – element of surprise blocks the possibility to change the active deck until the event is concluded.

With introduction of Om’vemeanin cards the combat system will take on its final form, and you will have a complete picture of the battles in Nanraas.

In addition to cards, the shops have a section called "Other" where you can buy various souvenirs, trinkets and useful items. We recommend that you do not miss the opportunity to purchase them, for you can trigger a secret event later (for example, if Azaries wants to make a gift for a date, or help friends with personal matters).

Thank you for your support! Are you ready for more? Stay tuned!
