It's been a reasonably productive month. I was able to finish off a commission I had delayed for months due to illness, I managed to write some back-end things that I needed to get down in some format for future posting stuff here, I talked with a friend about helping with a 'book' on Felwroth (There's no way in Hell this thing will ever be printed, as printing and distributing books is prohibitively expensive unless you are able to shift tens of thousands of them), and finally got some inks done on the next image I'll be colouring (pictured here :) ).

Some of the rust has been shaken off. I still have some work to do to get back to where I was, but with a few weeks of constant work under my belt it's starting to look less rough.

I'll be pinging the next person on the commissions list in April. I know it's been a while, so I understand if folks' priorities have shifted, as the economy is a fickle trout, but either way, I'll let the next people know that they're on deck :)

Cute scene! Thanks for posting. Regarding books, small-scale printing houses are not that expensive. You can potentially crowdfund a print run of them, which is often done by creators making collections of webcomics. The books are still pricier than what you'd buy in a bookstore, but it's not prohibitive. If it's something you're interested in, your fans can certainly help connect you with others who have done it and can advise you. It's very possible to do cost effectively!

I do love days like this and you've captured the feeling perfectly! in Re: a book, please include a digital edition. I've run out of storage space here (seriously, rare-ish books are stacked precariously on every level surface). I've been collecting digital comics for years (heading for decades) and the tricks that the publishers use to curtail piracy are many and varied.

As a self published author myself, you dont need a publishing house. The drawback is that youre giving money to the one guy who doesnt need it, but it does mean anyone can buy your books anywhere. I’m more than happy to chat and give some more info. (I can also get info from more experienced people than me)
