April update (Patreon)

Hi, folks. Hope everyone is enjoying their Easter break so far. I have a few announcements to make.

First of all, I'm sorry that I can't get a new page up today for Patrons. After I finished last week's page, I basically had a meltdown from the fatigue of drawing for long hours every day for the past month. I got little to no work done this past week, so it will be a couple more days before I can recover to get page 21 online. I realize this isn't the first time that a page has been uploaded late, and it mainly comes down to the pressure of having to juggle the amount of work required to maintain a quality webcomic and complete commissions. I launched Sonic Retold #2 with only a handful of pages preprepared in case of delays, but it obviously wasn't enough. Once this issue is complete, I probably won't upload Sonic Retold #3 until half of the pages are ready to ensure a steady flow of weekly updates.

I do have a small consolation: I've finished a new comic page of Monarch's story by IronWolf85, which I've uploaded to my DeviantArt gallery here: https://glitcher.deviantart.com/art/COMM-Monarch-s-Reprieve-738797680

Second, my apologies to the quality of the stream yesterday. There were complaints of constant buffering problems, but I'm not adept enough to troubleshoot this sort of problem on my own. The bitrate seemed adequate for my connection, but it may be that streaming over the Atlantic is causing issues. If anyone can suggest better settings in OBS, I'd appreciate any help.

Third, I'm sorry that I neglected to announce the stream here on Patreon. I figured that my Patrons are all from my DeviantArt watchers list and would naturally see the livestream announcement on my journal. But it turns out at least one Patron was caught unaware, and I have to remember that I've received more Patrons in the past month as a result of the character cameo incentive and I should be more mindful of posting livestream announcements here too.

This past week has been a litany of errors and I have no excuse for it. I suppose the lack of an announcement and the fact that it's the Easter holidays contributed to an unusually low turnout on yesterday's stream. With the meagre viewers and the piecemeal work on the next page, I obliged the chat requests to sketch Lien-Da and Nicole stripping as sort of an April Fool's joke. See! This is what you've reduced me to when you don't turn up. :p You can see the full sketch (with the suggested title "Glitcher's Regret") by clicking here:

So unless I get more viewers, my livestreams will be devoted to endless drawings of Sonic striptease. You don't want that, do you?
